The house is modern, open Plan and with 3 good sized bedrooms. Walking to the local pubs takes 10 minutes. It had all the kitchen and the layout was great with fantastic large windows with magnificent views.
Beautiful home in a lovely location
Beautiful views, lovely and clean, well presented, spacious, comfortable
Could have done with a few more cupboard/staple items but what was there was sufficient
Great location. The house worked well for two families of three (six people total). The sleeping, lounging, cooking, and eating spaces were all comfortable for our group.
Great location, fantastic views and great price
Great location Very clean Well equipped
We loved Mary's meadow, Spotlessly clean, Very comfortable and vIews were fabulous, could have easily stayed longer.
Nothing
The house is in a great location with fantastic views all around. It was in close proximity to Doolin
#1 the view this house provided us with every comfort imaginable but the view ..just wow
There was nothing we did not like about this property
The location was central, and had a wonderful view at the top of a hill. The house is spacious, quiet and has all the amenities you could hope for. Very open and great views.
Location was amazing! Pictures do not do this place justice.
Could have used more cozy furniture in the living room. It was difficult for a group of 8 of us to gather in one place, as there is only seating for about 5 people in the living room.
Stunning house, Fabulous location. Owners absolutley fabulous to us 10/10
Absolutley nothing
Flott beliggenhet, frittliggende og fantastisk utsikt!
Very nice place with amazing view. Close to the center. Highly recommended.
Nothing, everything was perfect.
Stunning views , spotless , a 5 minute walk from McGanns pub , I forgot my phone charger when I was leaving and Paul posted it the next day, would highly recommend it and I will definitely be back.
Nothing
Everything- amazing stay we had the best time on our family trip down to doolin. The house was perfect thanks Paul !! Will definitely try come back down to stay in your lovely home
Nothing!
beautiful views on a hill. Beds were comfortable. A very quiet spot.
It's a very nice place. The house could use a little interior decorating to feel more comfortable. No real pictures on the wall, for example. The living room furniture could be improved, but it was fine. There was a French press to make coffee, but no coffee grinder. These are a little nitpicky, I realize. Overall, it was a nice, clean, and comfortable place, and I would stay there again.
All great!
Difficult to get into the facility due to wrong key box code.
The view and walking distance to town and trails was amazing.
Love the layout of the house and location. The living and kitchen area were nicely separated from the sleeping areas.
This isn't just a great place to stay when visiting Doolin, it's a place that you would build your entire vacation in Ireland around if you were able to get a booking! Large, comfortable house, three bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, all on one floor (some steps down to two of the bedrooms), parking right outside the front door. But the main selling point is the location. Tremendous views in every direction, including out across the water to the Aran Islands if the weather is decent. In the other directions, bucolic farms. The kinds of views that you think of when you dream of the West Coast of Ireland you can have from just sitting at the kitchen table having your coffee. Then, when it's time to eat or drink or hear trad music you can just walk down the hill, about 5 minutes, to some of the more legendary pubs in the country. I booked this for my family and I will probably never use up all the credit I earned for finding it!
Nothing comes to mind.
It's a very beautiful cottage equipped with everything you need. The location and the view are simply stunning. Communication with the landlord was very friendly, uncomplicated, and always helpful. We love it and would love to come back!
Everything was great!
The location was so handy to the pubs for dinner. The house was very bright and cheerful.
Beautiful property in a lovely location, with access to great amenities nearby.
All wonderful.
Lovely family home . Amazing views. Spacious. Parking. Great log burner
Hanging rails in all rooms and hangers would be helpful
beautiful location, clean well-equipped house, easy and smooth communication with host - hares running around the garden, stunning views, walking distance to cliffs, great pubs etc and short drive from fantastic beaches and the Burren - wonderful stay in stunning Wild Atlantic Way with family - we all loved it.
Nothing
A spacious house with wonderful views. Ideal for our family to visit, including an 8 year old. Bright and sunny. Well equipped kitchen. Close to everything in Doolin and a walkable distance. Lay out was good with bedrooms in one half with doors separating them from the kitchen and living room, making sure the late night people didn't wake up the sleeping ones. The eating area was big enough for our 7 people.
Nothing.
Loved the location. Quiet with great views. Could see the Aran Islands, fields with grazing cows and horses, and ruins. Clean and plenty of space. Less than 30 min to drive to several places including Cliffs of Moher, Doolin Cave, a few castles, etc.
Nothing.
perfect location, up on the hill, view to the sea, 200m to the pub.
The location is perfect, pubs and restaurants only a short walk away. House is beautiful. Very well looked after!! This was our second year staying, and will definitely return again.
The location was perfect, nice a secluded but still close to the village
Excellent location, a very comfortable and spacious house. Great for family's and friends alike. As previous visitors have mentioned, the photos don't do it justice. We will be returning and recommending to friends and family.
Communication with the host was fine using messaging through app.
Close walk to the pubs. Beautiful location on top of the hill
Nothing
The house was beautiful and very comfortable. We had everything we needed. The location was perfect!
The views were phenomenal! Close to a few pubs with excellent food and charm. Quiet and peaceful spot!
The narrow road was a little scary!
An exceptional location very close (5 mins walk)to local pubs with traditional music and near village shop(15mins walk) wonderful views towards Aran Isles House surrounded by fields so is quiet All our needs met re furnishings with comfortable beds Good drying area for wet clothes Host Paul who’s easily contactable attended to a small problem immediately and efficiently
beautiful house in a fabulous location. the pictures don’t do justice to how lovely and large the house is. it is so comfortable and the views are amazing. it’s a brilliant location , 5 mins walk to mc ganns restaurant and pub and 10 mins to Doolin centre. quiet and private too.
nothing. it was perfect.
We loved our stay at Mary's Meadow. The cottage is charming, very clean and well supplied. It was really cold outside but the house heated up nicely. Heaps of space (there were only two of us but it would have been comfortable for a family). Lovely view from the living room to the coast. Very handy to Doolin village (great base for visiting Aran Island, the Burren, and the Cliffs of Moher). Having a washing machine and large drying rack was good. Security deposit was returned promptly.
Communication of instructions in capital letters felt unfriendly. Covid instructions about spraying surfaces and social distancing in the house, and not providing tea or coffee because of covid, were out of date and seemed over the top (we didn't encounter this anywhere else in Ireland). A serving bowl or two for salad or fruit would be a good addition to an otherwise excellent kitchen.
Mary's Meadow was extraordinary beautiful with a wonderful sight of the atlantic ocean. The house was clean and had enough space for all people I have travelled with. The kitchen also has everything we needed for cooking and stuff. We really enjoyed our stay which has been very comfortable at Mary's Meadow. Paul is a reliable and really nice host who will help whenever help is needed. So, thanks for all - it was a pleasure being your guests :-)
Everything was well, nothing to complain about! I will recommend Mary's Meadow one hundred percent.
great accommodation just 5 minutes walk from superb pubs - McGann’s and McDermott’s. Fabulous views all round. Highly recommended
No dislikes at all
Location was perfect, the view from the kitchen window seat is divine! Paul was very accommodating and I can't wait to visit again.
A beautiful home with magnificent views and a great location! I am a frequent traveler saying you cannot go wrong booking Mary’s Meadows!! The pictures do not do this place justice!!! The host is very kind and quick to respond! Home is well kept and very clean!! Beds and furniture were comfortable!!! Thank you for such a lovely stay for our family!
Loved everything!
