The house is exactly as described. It was cosy and clean and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Excellent communication from Eoin throughout.

Communication was very good. Self check in and out. House very clean, lovely comfortable beds, soft fluffy towels. Good location. Very quiet neighbourhood. Lovely wzlks along the barrow. Can we recommemd Tandori King restaurant and the Old zpost Office cafe. This is a perfect stay midway between Carlow town and kilkenny sity

It would be nice to have some basic condiments ie sugar, cooking oil, salt and pepper? Maybe some shampoo.... just asking for a friend;-)

Liddle, Super Value and Aldi are within walking distance. The location is good as the cafe and pub are within walking distance. There is also a river nearby, making it a great place for a walk.There is also a playground in front of Super Value, making it perfect for bringing children.It's a good spot for sightseeing, with an 18-minute drive to Carlow, a 25-minute drive to Kilkenny and a 25-minute drive to Nicholas Moss. The heating system was very well functioning in the house and I was able to stay comfortable.

Basically, the house was clean. However, when I first checked the toilet, the toilet hadn't been flushed and there was something left. Toilet paper was also used, and only the tube was left there.When I told the owner about it, they just replied that they didn't know the cause since they had been cleaned up.There were no particular apologies to us. I tried to use a kettle but the inside was dirty so I didn't use it. The battery on the wall clock in the house was dead and stopped. From this point of view, I have a bit of doubt about cleaning the house. Of course, these are small details, the house was kept clean elsewhere.

A lovely little cottage with comfortable rooms - both bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Kitchen was well-equipped and spacious.

Die Lage ist toll, das Haus sieht von außen freundlich aus. Der Gastgeber war immer erreichbar und hat sofort geholfen, wenn man danach gefragt hat.

Es lagen noch gebrauchte Handtücher herum. Die Küche ist nicht gut ausgestattet.

Very good location, house in great condition

House was lovely and clean, very comfortable and cosy. Kids were delighted to have Netflix etc on the tv and house was lovely for a relaxing evening after a busy day out and about. No issues at all, we throughly enjoyed our stay.

Everything was fine.

The location was lovely in a quiet street near the river Barrow where there were very tame ducks along the river bank. Shops, pubs and restaurants within short distance. We were attending a funeral of a good friend from Kerry in Leighlinbridge, just a few minutes drive away.

We found the TV a little difficult to operate. Otherwise everything was good!

It had everything we needed: a fridge, a washing machine, each bedroom and an unsuite. It was located around the corner from a supermarket and there is a nice pub nearby - The Railway House. We called the owner because we didn't know how to lock the front door (lift up the handle) and he was lovely and friendly. Would recommend.

A coffee machine would of been nice and a bigger double bed.

The townhouse was very spacious, with plenty of room to simply relax in a comfortable living area. Everything in town we needed was within a 5 min walk at most. Yet the location was quiet down by the riverside. Just a great place to stay, and use as a base to tour the surrounding districts incl Kilkenny, Wexford & Warerford. All within an easy drive. The shower was fantastic, with great instant hot water and good pressure.

The only thing we found was the bed was a bit firm for us oldies..lol

Good location to walk to shops food evening stroll. My 2 year old the ducks.

The only thing was the parking although there was a few spaces close to house other people did park in them during our stay so i had to park down a side street away form the property which I didnt like

Comfortable and cosy. Great location near to motorways, but surrounded by lovely countryside. Really nice river at end of street which was perfect for a seat on the fence and a cuppa.

Great location, close to everything. SuperValu literally a minute walk away, and nice to be so close to the river. Park with children's playground just past the supermarket. TV solution worked well. Host was very responsive which is always good. I'm from the area originally and Bagenalstown is a lovely little town.

It was fine, but no more than that. Long hairs in the shower of the double ensuite, and hairs on the windowsill in the twin ensuite. Not sure how long they'd been there. The shower in the twin ensuite is surely some sort of practical joke. Could have forgiven the inability to set temperature to a normal level instead of freezing or scalding, but barely any water comes out of it anyway. Almost zero water pressure. Would be nice if a few teabags/coffee sachets were included or something, that's the least you'd expect. I've rented my house out and would be embarrassed if I didn't provide that. If I knew there was a family staying over Christmas, I'd probably make at least a token attempt to put up an odd decoration or two. But, yeah, felt more like a basic student house than a homely place.

This is a lovely house. We really liked the two ensuite bedrooms and the downstairs toilet. The location is excellent, a few steps from the Barrow Way, with supermarkets a few minutes walk.

Location, size of property, fairly quiet area, walking distance to downtown area.

Needs replenishing of some kitchen items, only 3 dinner knives, a few more glasses and a better chef knife would be good.

The only challenge we had was no TV due to a WiFi glitch but the hosts addressed it quickly. Overall nothing we did not like

wifi didn't work properly on the first night, one of the showers was dirty.

Located beside the river with easy access to river side walk. Ample parking. Excellent supermarket within easy walking distance. The house was exceptionally clean, white towels & linen. Great base for local amenities/sites such as public swimming pool, Aboratum, and Shankill Castle.

It's that time of year, but there was lots of flies in the house! although we weren't sure if it was the same one that kept coming back in. Needed more toilet roll for a 2 night stay and 4 people! And there was only 3 mugs, so we took it in turns for tea :) Only very minor things though and would be back again!

3rd visit with no car, train/bus near by, the sound of the canal is just lovely, hail rain or snow its a lovely spot, went to killkenny a 20 min train ride, picked up a boat trip that was magical,, jimmys pub on your doostep, just spoiled myself

Amazing location with pub, shop and playground across the road. Also right at the river which offers a scenic walk. Property ad everything we needed. Host was accommodating and quick in replying. Would recommend and hope to be able to book again in the future.

The hosts were amazing. Got in touche very early and answered all the questions. Made sure to have good recommandations when we asked. Supervalue is super close to the house which is very nice. Parking is right in front of the house. No noise. Big house with two bathrooms ! If you have a care and travel in the area this is perfect place to stay if you want to unwind in a nice place without paying the high price of Kilkenny.

Cleaning could have be a little more thorough but the host had to change house at last minute (which was agreed upon and no bother for us) so it might have played.
