La casa es muy agradable, luminosa y acogedora. Está decorada con muy buen gusto. La cocina está muy bien equipada. Todo está impecablemente limpio. El anfitrión fue muy amable y estaba atento a lo que necesitásemos. Las habitaciones tienen camas muy cómodas. Además, fuera tiene un pequeño patio donde poder disfrutar del aire fresco.

Nada. Todo perfecto. Lo único es que nos hubiera gustado pasar más días en la casa porque se puede descansar y desconectar muy bien.

Beau logement proche de Kilkenny et de Carlow. Le lave linge est un plus tout comme la petite terrasse en extérieur. Le propriétaire très sympa qui est venu nous saluer à notre arrivée.

The cottage was lovely. It is suitable for couples or a family. Very affordable.

All the details in the house are logically fitted and easy to use. The water pressure in the shower was a delight. Excellent place.

Offered a true Irish country side experience with farm animals all around in a very private space with on sight parking.

There are no shower walls but there is a squeegee . Initially the upstairs bedroom was quite warm.

A beautiful cottage, really well kept and fitted out. Everything was very clean and modern. Mick and Majella kept in touch with us and were very welcoming, leaving milk and groceries for us in the fridge. Nothing to dislike, everything was great

First off, this was the cutest cottage possible, access was super easy and Mick met us shortly after arrival to make sure that everything made sense and was up to our expectations. The flat came fully stocked with kitchen basics, and the loft upstairs was *adorable* though there were just 2 of us. The stay was amazing, and the location was awesome for a little quiet in between a lot of trekking around Kilkenny.. and a manageable drive up to Glendalough.

Wonderful property. Fit the 4 of us perfectly. Adorable 2nd floor bedroom. The host, Mick was very caring about our comfort. Stocked essentials like milk and butter which was greatly appreciated.

Mick was an excellent host, friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout my stay. He made everything easy from check‑in to check‑out, and he was always available if I needed anything. I felt very well looked after. The property was spotless. Both bedrooms, the bathroom, and the kitchen were clean and well maintained. It really felt like care had been taken to ensure everything was ready to a high standard for guests. The facilities were impressive. The private entrance was a nice touch and gave the stay a real sense of independence. The fully equipped kitchen had everything I needed, and the free Wi‑Fi worked perfectly. The layout was comfortable and practical, and the furnishings felt homely and inviting. The bathroom was modern, fresh, and in great condition. I slept very well. Both bedrooms were cosy and quiet, with comfortable beds and a relaxing atmosphere. Temperature and noise levels were just right, allowing for a peaceful night’s sleep. Breakfast wasn’t provided as part of the stay, but with the fully equipped kitchen it was easy to prepare my own meals, which suited me well. I would happily stay again and would recommend the property to others.

Comfortable, cozy cottage with a double bed downstairs and twin singles upstairs. Full kitchen and washing machine with drying rack and even an outdoor clothesline with pegs so we could do some washing. Toilet and shower in one room but provided with a squeegee broom to dry the floor. Well stocked dry food items in the pantry and milk and butter in the fridge. Free private parking outside the cottage and off the street.

No instructions for the heating or hot water. As foreigners to Ireland, this was a complete mystery for us to work out. There was only one two seater couch, so with 4 adults we had to sit at the kitchen table or lie on a bed.

Muy cómoda, con todos los servicios. Todo limpio. Ubicado a las afueras del pueblo pero con una vistas muy bonitas, y cerca de sitios como Kilkenny. Tiene un ático donde a los chavales les encanta dormir. La comunicación con los dueños muy buena.

Lo único es la ducha, que hay que tener cuidado para no salpicar agua en exceso. Con una cortina corredera, se soluciona fácil.

Great communication throughout with a friendly check in that was reassuring and a pint of milk in the fridge that was super-thoughtful. Such a peaceful location with lovely countryside views behind the property. The little house itself was spotlessly clean with really good use made of the space so our overnight stay was really comfortable. What we saw online was exactly what we got. It took away the uncertainty of booking a room in local city hotels which had wildly differing reviews. That mattered as my Mum has mobility issues and the reassurance of knowing exactly where we would be sleeping helped us all to relax into the trip.

Its such a minor thing but a cafetiere to make some coffee in the morning would have been great.

Newly renovated property, finished to very high standard with great attention to detail.

We only stayed one night and it was fantastic. Clean comfortable and very well decorated.

Everything was perfect

The quaintness of the cottage in the rural setting was wonderful! Cows, horses out in the paddocks a beautiful night. Host was accommodating in every way possible.

It’s not a negative by all means but be aware that being rural means rural animal sounds that you potentially may not be use too.

I had an amazing stay here with my family (2 adults and 2 kids). It is perfect if you are looking for your own space in a picturesque setting just a short drive to Kilkenny town. The cottage was stunning, very clean and had great views. The owner couldn't have been more helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved whole experience from meeting Mick & Majella to the cottage, from scenery from driving around...loved visiting Goersbridge about ot 10mins away for lovely walk & indulged in coffee & home made cake when finished before heading back to Fenniscourt Cottage. Definitely be back ❤️🇮🇪

The cottage was beautiful and perfectly located for our trip to Kilkenny. Mick (host) and the cottage couldn't have been any better. Highly recommended as a base for a trip to Kilkenny or Carlow once you have access to a car as it is beautifully out in the country.

Super cosy with all the amenities needed!

When we checked in, the cottage was very welcoming and warm despite a power cut earlier in the day. Cottage is very clean and literaly you have everything you need. Short distance from Kilkenny and easy to find with direct access from the main road. Comunication with the owner was great and we appreciated that even if them could not meet us at check in, them phoned later in the evening to make sure that there are no more issues with the power and that we checked in ok. The cottage view is a bonus on a sunny day :). The area is also very quiet. I will highly recommend this accomodation!!!

This is a fabulous property in a rural location. Finished to a high standard. Everything you could need is in the property. The hosts are very nice people, very helpful and go over and above. Would 200% stay here again.

It's in a quiet country setting. The backyard is essentially rolling fields of cows and sheep. The place is lovely and clean with nice interior. Hosts are responsive and polite. They include everything one needs to cook and even include milk, cookies, butter, and jam. A cobweb could not be found!

A little farther from Kilkenny than we realized, about 22 minutes to the medieval mile. Not a complaint, but suggestion, larger sofa where the current one is would offer more seating.

I followed the instruction on the web site and contacted the owner for the information to where the keys were located by phone and I was given clear instruction. Both the owner and his wife greeted us and told us that if there where any problems to contact the at they home nearby

The only thing we think the owner should do to improve the cottage is to have a coffee table and a stander lamp near the the sofa as it's a little dark in the evening with out having to put on the big lights

The owner was working on the property working when we arrived,we left for about 40 minutes came back and he was still working right behind the lodge,where we didn't really have alot of privacy,we could see him right through the window,only for it rained he would have continued to work,I could have booked a hotel but we wanted peace and quiet and time to ourselves to just relax for one night,so we were very disappointed with that,and check out was really early between 8-10am nowhere open to get breakfast even,way to early,

We loved our stay at the beautiful Fenniscourt Cottage. It was in a perfect location for our travels and very easy to find, with plenty of parking available. Mick was available to meet us and talk to us about the property and gave us a food recommendation. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you would need for a stay, plus much more. The beds were super comfy and the shower was boiling, perfect! A thoughtful folder provided with ideas for food and day trips.

Everything was perfect- we wished we could stay for longer! We will be back.

Super comfortable accommodation in a lovely area. There is a horse farm across the road and cattle in the distance. The owners are amazing! They ensured we had a wonderful stay. The cottage was spacious for the 4 of us. We highly recommend this country stay.

Beautiful countryside setting, spotless with all the added extras included. Shower gel, milk ,bread etc. The cottage itself was extremely clean and well equipped. Comfy beds and was nice and toasty on arrival.

No gate at the front, leads onto a busy road. As I had a small child. But that wasn't a huge issue as the weather was wet and we stayed indoors for our time here.
