Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Maison bien située à l'entrée de Clifden, accès au centre-ville à pied, très bien équipé (notamment la cuisine ), trois chambres, trois toilettes, deux salles de bain mais aussi un lave-vaisselle, un lave-linge et un sèche-linge. Anne nous a permis d'arriver un peu plus tôt et nous a laissé de délicieuses douceurs. Parfait pour visiter le Connemara!

Reviewed Jun 23, 2026Die Gastgeberin hat uns beim Bezug der Unterkunft mit selbstgebackenen Muffins und einem Sodabread überrascht. Das Haus war sehr sauber. Es gibt einen Aldi, der zwei Autominuten entfernt ist. Der Parkplatz ist direkt vor dem Haus.
Für unseren Geschmack war der Duft der verwendeten Raumduftstäbchen etwas zu intensiv.

Nous sonnés arrivés assez tard, nous avons pu récupérer les clés dans une boîte à clés et les remettre en partant. Hôte très agréable et en plus on a eu un bon gâteau fait maison en arrivant d’une longue route c’était très appréciable.

The house had everything needed and is in a great location-just a short walk into town. Clifden and the surrounding area are beautiful with lots to do nearby. It was a lovely stay!

The garden is huge, there is plenty of space for 3 couples or family with children. Anne the owner is super nice and responsive, she accommodated late check in. Car space outdoor. Highly recommend

Reviewed Apr 28, 2025Fantastic stay as a base for any Connemara trip. Clifden town is a 10 min walk away to all shops, restaurants and pubs. Plenty of space for parking which was great as part of a group of 6. Very comfortable house with everything you could need. The host was fantastic providing info well in advance of check in and even baked us some welcome treats. Would absolutely book again for a group stay in Connemara at a super reasonable price!

Nothing much to complain, however I would have expected some toileteries to be provided e.g. shampoo, shower gel.. it is good that we always carry our own so it wasn't a problem for us atleast..

Reviewed Nov 25, 2023Lovely house. The host left fresh bread and buns which was such a fabulous touch. There were also condiments in the house (salt, pepper etc) which was great. The house was big and spacious. Beds were comfy. They provided a travel cot and a high chair which was brilliant. Close to town in a quiet estate.
Every single one of the door handles and hinges squeeked, like the most awful loud noise. We had two babies and it kept waking them.

From the outside it really looks like a typical Irish house. comfortable lounge and kitchen with plenty of amenities. the three bedrooms are really very nice and spacious. furthermore the house has three bathrooms, perfect for a family. the owner was extremely courteous and helpful. even sent me a forgotten item and in no time. a really nice experience, I recommend it.
