Wainsfort House

House was lovely and clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils. There was an issue with the TVs but this was resolved immediately by the owner. There were no light bulbs working in one of the bedrooms and the water built up in one of the ensuites. Other than that the house was lovely and warm and the beds were comfortable. There was plenty of room for the 10 of us.

This house is the best I have ever stayed in. It was spotless when we arrived the host was very accomadating with times etc. The location is beautiful with a lake only a couple of minutes away which is a great location for swimming. The village is stunning also. I would definetly go back

We loved the size of the house, how clean it was and every room is spacious and plenty of bathrooms.

Directions to house, it was tricky to find its exact location. We needed the eircode.

The property is beautiful excellent place for a family getaway . Great facilities. Excellent communication with owner. One of our party got a flat tyre on way down and hosts father called on the Saturday morning and organised someone to repair tyre for is whichever we greatly appreciated

Nothing not to like

The position of this property is ideally located for visiting many local attractions in both Cavan and Fermanagh as well as being close to restaurants and pubs. In a beautiful part of Ireland you'll find plenty to keep you interested and Eamon does a great job of informing you of what's best close to the property.

very good cupboard of tea coffee salt pepper etc All kitchen staples were provided

The key lock box needs renewing as the latch is very hard to keep open.

Great space. Well laid out and nicely decorated.

No front wall or gate to the road making outdoor play dangerous for kids.

We loved the space that the property offered, there were 6 adults in our group and at times you could feel like you were the only person in the house! The ensuite bathrooms were fabulous and the kitchen was brilliant for all cooking together.

Our family spent a wonderful weekend at Wainsfort Lodge while visiting Blacklion recently. Everything was superb - from my first engagement with the owner to the comfort, cleanliness and range of facilities at this property. And, a special thanks to Tom for his incredible hospitality and generosity - just the best!

The house is fabulous.Spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Hosts were very helpful with information and good communication before arrival. Great place for family or friends to get together. Short drive to Blacklion. We all enjoyed our stay and will book again.

Beautiful house, spotlessly clean, lots of space, absolutely loved it, close to Lough for water sports and swimming, visited the Burren park and Shannon pit too - very comfortable- we plan to make our family reunion an annual occurrence at Wainsfort house if possible- thank you!

Very spacious and comfortable host was very helpful.

The lack of TVs only one for such large property also only one oven would struggle if preparing and cooking for large number of people. Also the description doesn’t mention a occupied flat underneath the main house to rear not completely private had people coming and going also walking past kitchen window and doors using communal bin. Also maybe a good idea for a welcome pack of essentials would benefit due to location as we arrived late evening on Sunday.

Everything! My friends and I are always going away fir the weekend, and our weekend in “Wainsfort house” was amazing. Eamon was very attention with us from the start until the end.

Lovely, spacious house. Eamon the host was very responsive.

The finish on this property is awful, I can't tell if it's work in progress or just neglected. Blinds without pulleys, wonky taps and shelves plus bizarre things like fan switches in the ceilings! Lack of pans and instructions for appliances was frustrating. I was very surprised there was no milk, very unusual for Ireland.

Huge house with 5 large comfortable bedrooms…one of which was downstairs….ideal as we had a wheelchair user in our company.
