We loved it overall but if I had to choose something, the shower water temperature was very temperamental and a few cooking essentials were missing if you were staying for more than a night and wanted to cook your meals (strainer/grater) but this was personal issue really and in general it had everything else!

On the first floor so up one flight of stairs.Very good communication with the owner for access. Comfy bed. Exactly as described with accurate photos. Parking for free on the main street. I would definitely stay here again.

Reviewed Jun 27, 2026The appartment was perfectly situated and spotless clean. We used it as a half way point, to a journey to Belfast and would definitely stay there again and highly reccomend it. I left an item after me and Aidan has kindly offered to send it to me. Photos show exactly what you get. Pop in to McGuires pub for a friendly chat.
Pillows but that is a personal choice.

Reviewed Jun 7, 2026Ein schönes Appartment! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Bett ist super bequem und die Nacht war ruhig. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, man kann kochen, wenn man nicht essen gehen möchte. Ein Minimarkt ist gleich an der Tankstelle und hat das Notwendigste.

WiFi was not working. Property was a little cold, and an alarm not set by us on a clock in the bedroom woke us up at 4.30am causing alarm and great inconvenience from a sleep perspective.

When I got to the door of the apartment, white door, but needed to be cleaned, apartment was lovely until I got to the bathroom, lovely big bathroom, the tiles, shower tray and 2rows of tiles at the base of the shower were all discoloured, needed to be removed and re grouted, apartment beside a takeaway, fans from takeout were very loud… and didn’t go off until 12am

Reviewed Jun 18, 2025We liked everything about this apartment. Location is excellent, space is very good. It has everything one could need for self catering even has a washing machine too. Very large bed and a spacious bathroom. There is no TV which some people may not be happy with but we loved. Lovely walks within the village too. Great lively pubs and a takeaway right beside the apartment.

Reviewed Mar 16, 2025We had an over night stay in Aidan's apartment which we found really lovely. Location to MacNean's restaurant couldn't be any closer. Aidan was very welcoming and super responsive. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.
There was a fairly loud hum in the apartment when we arrived (not sure what it was, possibly the heating system), it was still there when we arrived back to the apartment and eventually cut off around 9:30pm, I can't say I noticed it again in the morning before we left. There was some orange mould on the grouting in the shower, orange mould is very easy to remove, it shouldn't be there.

Nevin Maguire’s Beautiful Restaurant is just around the corner, the local “Dug Out” Pub across the road, Tourist Office also across the road and Service Station, with delicious cakes and the usual groceries, 2 mins up the road with Great Value Petrol/ Diesel!!
If I was to Nit Pick - maybe a TV would be nice because next time I will be staying for longer and enjoy a bit of Telly 📺
