Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Abbiamo passato una notte in questo bell'appartamento, spazioso, curato, arredato in modo accogliente e particolare, dotato di tutti i confort, molto pulito e con il valore aggiunto di uno spazio esterno con vista oceano bellissimo! Ci siamo rilassati, riposati e goduti una bellissima alba. Accoglienza gentile, disponibilità e professionalità del proprietario. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, struttura sicuramente consigliata. Ottima la possibilità di parcheggiare internamente in box auto coperto privato.
Nulla. Per entrare nell'appartamento ci sono alcuni gradini da fare, ma sono pochi e con ottimo rapporto alzata/pedata. Nessun problema anche se si hanno i bagagli.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026My partner and I loved everything about Salop House. The view of the ocean is superb. I'm planning on going back for my next getaway. The host Willem was amazingly friendly. He made my partner and I feel welcome.
The only thing that was a little bit of a challenge was the steps. Very high and steep but manageable if one is careful.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026I didn't have breakfast. The location was good. it was too chilly to sit outside but it was nice to have a TV with the full DSTV package. It is a proper flat with separate kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom.
There were notices all over thw flatb saying DO NOT DO THIS and DO NOT DO THAT which I found a bit offputting, and the furniture was all very dark. It would have looked much nicer with light bright furniture.

Reviewed Jul 9, 2026We didn't have breakfast. The keys were handed to us by the owner on arrival. After our stay at Salop House in Fishhoek we moved to 5 star hotel in Seapoint and I can tell you Salop House was better kitted than the hotel. Every aspect of the attention to detail to make our stay comfortable was appreciated. Cosy home away from home experience.
A queen size bed would have been ideal. However given the size of the room we understood why they have a very comfortable double bed.

Reviewed Jun 24, 2026The unit was large and very tastefully furnished with good-quality older pieces. There was a wonderful patio with fantastic views, which was a delightful place to have breakfast in the morning. I was able to park my car in a secure garage. Willi, the owner, was very helpful.
There are a number of steps to get down to the unit. But Willi, the owner, helped with my luggage up and down, so it wasn't an issue. All the plugs in the unit were the old M type, so you'll definitely need an adapter if you're from overseas.

Big step up into the bathroom, worried about tripping if we had to get up in the night. Lots of steps down the mountain to reach our accommodation, not great because we arrived after dark.

You can sit at the big putside area that is well decorated with flowerpots. I loved my 3 nights stay at Salip Hpuse very much. Willem even let me park the car in his garage.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2025Хозяин жилья приятный человек, гостеприимный, всё что нужно было показал, рассказал. Есть свой гараж. Вид из окон на побережье бомбовый. Все удобства есть в номере, было чисто и внешне уютно.
Было холодно, в номере 1 кварцевый обогреватель, который фактически бесполезный и 1 масляный, вместе они вообще не справляются с обогревом номера, сидели закутанные, так как телевизор в зале, а там ещё и кожаный диван, на котором ещё холоднее. Это пожалуй главный недостаток. Ещё непонятно было зачем делать 2 отдельных крана в раковине на холодную и горячую воду, этим же невозможно пользоваться...

Reviewed Apr 21, 2025I loved how homie, the space was lovely elegant decor and the place is really practical with tea and coffee readily available, ample fridge space and all utensils needed for a wonderful stay ... the view is breath taking and the privacy is lovely too it felt like being on a lovely little island ... would visit again most definitely. Wonderful host. Safe parking easy to find location.

The home is neat and tidy and there is everything you require inside. The host is very friendly and took us through everything we needed to know the moment we stepped in. It is secluded and has so much privacy. It's a great place for a couple getaway and we will definitely be going there again!
