Villa Nietos

The property was huge!! It fitted us all in easily (family of 10) The kitchen was so well equipped. The bed soo comfortable The shower was so powerful! Easy location to the airport and activities yet had beautiful views The owners were incredibly kind letting us come in early and leave late…. Very much appreciated!!! We loved going in the hut near the lake and lighting a fire and playing games. We played hide and seek and it was the perfect house for it!! Like big kids again!

Nothing to dislike. Could just do with a mirror in main bedroom and a little dressing table. But only minor.

Super cosy and very clean, where every small detail has been thought about. A wonderful stay in winter wonderland.

No hot water in shower . Ants EVERYWHERE. No hairdryer- so had to go out into the snow with wet hair !

Das Haus liegt super ruhig und idyllisch und trotzdem nah zu allen Aktivitäten/ Stadt/ Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Im Untergeschoß gab es ein Schlafzimmer, eine Schlafcouch und ein riesiges Bad mit Sauna, im EG ein Bad und ein wirklich großes Schlafzimmer mit Schlafcouch im Zimmer und oben ein großzügiges Schlafzimmer mit Ankleideraum sowie ein Schlafzimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten. Auf der Empore gab es eine weitere Schlafcouch, die wir (mit 10 Personen) gar nicht genutzt hatten. Man merkt dem Haus deutlich an, dass es gepflegt wird: alles war mehr als sauber und auch wirklich nichts beschädigt. Die Gastgeber wohnen nebenan und waren für uns immer erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

The house was truly amazing. We were all family members with 6 adults and two children and it was perfect. We each had a bedroom and bathroom on separate floors. Safe for the children with a baby gate on the top floor. Would have been better if there had been another baby gate on the stairs leading to the ground floor but that’s the only suggestion to make it safer. House was a short, easy ride from the airport and all the attractions we wished to visit. Lovely and warm and plenty of space for us all. Would highly recommend 😊

Everything was perfect

The house is beautiful and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Each room is spacious, clean, with plenty of bathrooms if you are a large group. We were able to download an app to order food, Ubers/ Bolt taxis easy to order from location with maximum 6 minute wait. The views are stunning.

We didn’t see any information prior to our stay that use of the hot tub was €100 for 2 hours. This was one of the reasons we chose the property over another. We didn’t use it as thought it was expensive. It didn’t ruin our stay at all, the children were happy in the snow and we used the fire pit to warm up!

The host was most helpful and provided prompt assistance when we had questions. Perfect apartment for family of 6-8 with 3 bathrooms. Next to Kemijoki River, with a great view.

Would be great to have more hooks in the toilets to hang towels.

Everything. This house is the dream. We are a large family with kids ranging from 6 to 21, they adored this house, location & facilities ensured this was the holiday of dreams, one that won't be forgotten. As exciting as Lapland is they were all excited to return 'home' each day. Probably my favourite place i have ever stayed. Hosts were fantastic, friendly & helpful but not intrusive. We would love to return here and experience summer also.

No taxis could find it from the address on booking.com we had to use a different one starting with Niemelantie so they could find us.

Villa Nietos was a stunning base for our trip to Lapland. The house is beautifully decorated, very warm and well laid out for a big group. With a bathroom on each floor it was always easy to get out in the mornings. The kitchen is spacious and very well stocked which made things a lot easier for us. The bedrooms are very comfortable. The setting of the house is stunning, and we really enjoyed playing in the snow and walking to the lake. We also enjoyed toasting marshmallows in the fire hut. I would definitely stay here again.

Our group of 6, has lots of space and rooms . Facilities are incredible . Within in house sauna , a laundry room, even a outdoor jacuzzi and sauna and barbecue hut for a fee. A huge living hall , 2 dining halls . it’s an awesome house to stay. It is by the side of a river with lovely scenery .

will need a car for easy commute though the property is only a couple minutes from the town.
