Reviewed Sep 7, 2026The location was very rural and quiet and easy to find, the owner was in contact when needed and the communication was excellent. There were 9 in our group and we were there for a family funeral so the property was good to accommodate us all as a family. The property was really well presented and everything apart from food which was down to us was there and available. There was plenty of logs and turf for the fires for the evening which made the stay even more comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and I would not hesitate to stay here again I can’t recommend enough to others, you will not regret staying here so book with confidence. Excellent value.

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026Really nice and spacious house, well equipped (with multiple bathrooms) in a pleasant location. It easily accommodated 10 people with dog to be spending there whole week. The host was nice and responsive. We had really great time there.
Hard to find any nitpick. We really liked it there. Perhaps the mattresses were bit too soft to our liking but that is rather reflecting our personal preferences...

Reviewed Jul 19, 2026Great property for a large group, plenty of bathrooms. Kitchen was good with dishwasher and laundry facilities. In a great location for sightseeing. We visited Cong, Westport, Knock and Galway. The greenhouse was a nice surprise with salad on tap. We loved the pool table in the garage, beds were comfortable.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2023The owner was great, always responding in timely manner. Facilities great, it was 14 of us and we had what we needed. Plenty space to park, nice walks around. AmaIng value for money. Being near Ballinrobe meant we managed to explore different parts of Ireland.
Location meant we had to drive to Ballinrobe for shopping, food and pubs. But that is not the owners fault.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2023The house was in a great location. It was a short walk away from Caher Pier which the kids loved jumping into on our evening walk. It was very comfortable and had everything you could need. It was also very secure for our two dogs and had a pool table in the garage which the kids really enjoyed. We all really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

It was very neat and tidy There was lovely muffin , and had plenty of utensils, to cook all were in perfect condition. There was a separate room where there was a lovely pool table boys used them everyday kept them occupied.

Fresh vegetables from the greenhouse and such welcoming hospitality from Colm & Therese! We couldn’t rate it high enough! beautiful beautiful beautiful!!
