The weather we couldn’t get using bbq fire pit and my daughter couldn’t use the play park tho that’s just Irish weather for you apart from that everything was amazing would’ve loved to meet daisy and Lilly the donkeys

The house was big, comfortable in a really nice place, with an amazing landscape

It was not clear that the hot tub was not included in the price.

The separate hot tub area was great. Covered but still cozy. Very private and spacious. Beautiful views.

A great stay that the whole family enjoyed. We got a takeout from the Chinese in ballina and took it back to the cabin. Everything we needed was there in the little kitchen area. We rented the hot tub for the night in the beautiful outdoor area. Kids loved it. The coffee from the machine was a lovely added extra. When we arrived the welcome book was great - so much effort and detail has gone into that book. Well done.

There was nothing that we didn’t like

Its a place where you can forget about the world in the best possible way. Cabin is really comfortable, spacious and very clean. The outdoor area was great for my 3 year old boy. You're surrounded by fields full of sheep, lambs and donkeys with a mountain view in the background. The hot tub was the highlight of the visit. We dealt with Sam who was very nice and very good for communication. We're already looking up when we can go back and hopefully next time we can stay longer.

Everything was perfect

We really enjoyed our recent stay in the lodge to celebrate a special family occasion. The facilities were amazing . The lodge has absolutely everything you need for your stay . We were made to feel very welcome throughout. The host checked in on us and the extra touches the lodge has made it even more enjoyable. We hired the outside facilities for one night and it was really lovely and relaxing . A perfect stay to relax and chill out in very peaceful surrounding countryside. We loved it .😊

Im not one for bad reviews but this was shocking,I didnt realise it wasnt pet friendly so owner took a e200 deposit in the event of damage(understandably) she then kicked us out while i had to bring my 2 yr old to hospital because my dog barked when the owner came to the door of cabin,which is a natural protective instinct for a dog when a lurking stranger approaches. Log cabin was left as found but still kept my deposit, I then had to drive 3 hours home in the late evening terified my child would have another seizure. Maybe she forgot her own dog barked at us on arrival, if your looking for nights sleep i wouldnt book this place, between the noise of the sheep and the rattling of the roof and the horrible feeling of being watched, not to mention the unprofessional behaviour.

The cabin was cosy with beautiful views and a real peaceful feel. The hot tub was a highlight, especially with the lovely lights around it. There was great attention to detail throughout! We really enjoyed seeing the animals nearby, and the two bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Overall, a fantastic and relaxing getaway that we would definitely recommend.

We all liked everything

Amazing to be at the foot of the Ox Mountains. Gorgeous cabin with tall ceilings and cozy atmosphere. Lovely and clean and well maintained. Great hosts. Would highly recommend and stay again!

Attention to detail was wonderful, the property had everything needed and more. Kids loved the hot tub and animals (Kitten, dog, pet lamb and donkeys). All beds, sofas really comfortable, kitchen well equipped, could not have dreamed of more. We travelled around Ireland and this was easily our favourite property on our trip.

Staff very friendly and helpful. The lodge is beautiful, clean and comfortable with wonderful views.

This was the perfect family escape. The attention to detail by Sam and Tom was so clear from the moment we arrived. It was so cosy. We were only there for a night but felt so relaxed after it, it felt like we had had a long holiday!!!

Couldn't fault anything! It is in a remote area so you would want to bring essentials with you.To be fair, Sam and Tom have a list of take aways that deliver to lodge if you required it

The cabin was absolutely amazing,very clean and tidy,had everything you need for your stay. Jacuzzi is in a cabin beside,and has tv to watch and relax while your chilling in it. Pizza oven and bbq was also available.Kids had great fun on the swings and slide.

It was comfy on the inside, the bed were amazing.

The owners house is about 7 meter away from the lodge, so when we were leaving in the morning we were getting watch from the window.

Excellent accommodation, very comfortable, warm and all the essentials that you would need. The lodge itself is done to a high spec. The hot tub was a big hit and we really enjoyed the luxury of the lodge. Rural location and great for children. We definitely recommend and we hope to be back!

The cabin was so warm and cosy in arrival and thr owners had created a lovely ambience with the electric fire and candles. Facilities were 10/10, everything was great quality!

Great communication with the host. Easy to find this place in a beautiful nature surroundings. We had an amazing stay with my family and enjoy the bedrooms, big beautiful modern living room and kitchen facilities all available for cooking. Everything was clean, modern and instagramable :) We loved the jacuzzi and cute lights all around and tv for music to play while relaxing. In the morning we had amazing view of the mountains and fields and farm animals. Lodge was bigger than expected! :)

Es ist eine traumhafte Unterkunft, in der wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben, sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, hier fehlt es an nichts, sogar frische Blumen standen für uns bereit, schade, dass wir nur für eine Nacht diese tolle Unterkunft genießen konnten, das nächste Mal bleiben wir länger, damit wir auch den Whirpool nutzen können

Le lodge est très agréable, super équipé, et cosy. Il est très amusant de voir les moutons et les 2 anes dans le pré. On profite d'une réelle quiétude et du jacuzzi. Notre hôte est extrémement sympathique , soucieuse de notre séjour et des visites à effectuer.

Un léger bémol : une seule salle de bains intégrant les toilettes peut paraitre un peu "juste" quand on vient en famille.

The property is great to get away and unwind, something different from being limited in a hotel. Great value for money. Really enjoyed our stay, Sam was very responsive through text and was available for all our needs, would definitely re-book!

The lodge is finished to a very high standard with everything you need for a break away. Sam was fantastic… great communication and very helpful whilst not being intrusive. We would definitely recommend the lodge for a family break.

What a wonderful place to stay. We booked it as a family getaway for my wife's birthday. From the minute we walked in the door the experience was great. The place was clean and smelled great! Everything was as described and the Happy Birthday balloon and message on the TV was a lovely thoughtful touch. The Hot Tub was fantastic and really helped us unwind. Such a lovely quiet place surrounded by stunning views and farm animals. We really didn't want to leave and hope to book it again in the future. Thanks for hosting us Tom & Sam, you are great hosts.

The lodge has everything you need for any length of stay. Just looking out at the beautiful scenery is enough to make you plan a return visit. Sam is a wonderful host. The beds are so comfy, it’s immaculately clean and very well equipped.

Fantastic Accommodation! Suited our family of six perfectly! the swings and outside area is fantastic! The donkeys were great entertainment for all the family!

It was very spacious had very good facilities and it was spotlessly clean. It was set in a lovely setting against the mountains and had 2 lovely donkey neighbours.

The cabin is spacious and super comfortable with special touches from Sam to make you feel at home. It has a fully fitted kitchen with everything to need for self catering and a variety of cooking condiments available. The outside area is fantastic with a covered area that has seating, darts, pool table and a bbq at hand, not to mention the child's climbing frame. Did I mention the hot tub? Yes just what the doctor ordered after a long drive, just great.

My stay at the lodge mountain view was nothing short of exceptional. The moment I arrived, I was greeted by friendly and attentive host who made me feel right at home. The room was immaculate, with modern decor and all the amenities I could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The location is perfect, offering easy access to local attractions and just 10km from beautiful town Ballina. Overall, the attention to detail and quality of service at the lodge made my stay truly memorable. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a luxurious and relaxing experience. Will be definitely going back again with friends!!

Loved the peaceful location, the abundance of space in the cabin and the available facilities. The hot tub was such a novelty as haven't been in one since I was a child. It was one of the most relaxing short breaks my family and I have taken in a long while.

Cannot fault a single thing. Will definitely book again.

Beautiful cabin

I was uncomfortable as man was walking around and they were driving very loud car in and out beside us up until half 10 I was there with 3 young kids youngest 1 so nightmare for bed time wit that noise cabin owner walked unexpected into cabin taught it was cheeky and told me and kids if my kids go into hottub no messing or jumping in hottub its obvious that if kids were in water they would be Supervised i was Disappointment with Experience i taught was cabin by itsself nothing around was shock to see it in owners back garden a stone throw away from them should be Advertised that's its in there garden next to house
