I enjoyed this B&B a lot, the bedroom was big and cozy. I loved the scent of the towels and of the room. Everything was really clean and perfect. The owner was kind and very friendly. I definitely suggest it!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at Hillcrest Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast. The room was very spacious, comfortable and beautifully presented. The Irish breakfast was absolutely delicious and a perfect start to the day. It’s a beautiful and peaceful place to stay, especially if you enjoy being away from the hustle and bustle. Set in the middle of nowhere, it’s wonderfully quiet and surrounded by lovely countryside. A perfect place to relax and unwind. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Hillcrest Farmhouse to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming B&B.

Eine wundervolle Unterkunft mitten im Nirgendwo. Die Aussicht ins Grüne war wunderschön. Es war sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück war sehr gut.

Es hatte keinen Föhn. Zu Dritt könnte es etwas eng werden.

L'atmosfera rurale, il paesaggio. L'accoglienza di Peggy ed i suoi consigli. La pulizia. Ci siamo sentiiti a casa e certamente ritornremo.

L'hébergement est situé en retrait de toute route, donc très au calme et dans un environnement très vert. Nous avons adoré séjourner dans cet hébergement. La literie était la meilleure de tout notre séjour en Irlande, les draps étaient doux et le matelas et les oreillers confortables. L'accueil était très sympathique. La salle de bain était chaude. Le matin, un merveilleux petit-déjeuner nous a été servi. Nous nous sommes senties comme des princesses.

We stayed here for 1 night and really enjoyed the scenery and the local area. It is very quiet here not anything around, so it was just great to relax. The hostess was very friendly and the house is very cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice, Thank you!

Good choices for breakfast and a really good teapot that poured well and kept the tea hot. We had tea making facilities in our room but we were also welcome to use the lounge downstairs (that we had to ourselves). Sky TV was available and this was useful for watching Rory on his way to winning his second green jacket. We felt very welcome and were comfortable in our room. The garden looked very pleasant but the weather was so cold that we didn't venture outside. The location was a little isolated but we managed to visit Belleek, Westport (town, Quay and House), Foxford Woollen Mill, the Craft Market at Rathcormac north of Sligo and we did some general sightseeing in the beautiful Irish countryside. We had visited all of these places before but they are all well worth visiting and revisiting. The craft market has a great potter and a very gifted woodturner who have workshops on the site. The cafe is also very pleasant. We visited several golf clubs for coffee and the odd snack and were always made to feel very welcome. I wasn't able to play (for medical reasons) but have played Strandhill, Westport and Ballinrobe in the past. Lovely courses and I look forward to playing them again in the future.

As mentioned the location is a bit isolated but we still managed to have a great time.

Beautiful and clean home. Comfortable bed and delicious full breakfast. Had a tyre issue and Peggy was straight on it! She notified a company and it was fixed in less than an hour! Thank you, Peggy Her house is gorgeous and immaculate. Highly recommend this B&B😃

Our room was small but comfortable with everything we needed for our two nights. It had a large wardrobe and dresser to store/hang our clothes. We appreciated that we could open a couple of the windows on our second night as it got sunny and warmed our room during the day but cooled nicely at night. The house was located far off the road and was very peaceful. We had a lovely view from our room and enjoyed seeing and hearing the 3 donkeys they own. Breakfast was delicious!

The most fabulous breakfast of our whole trip to Ireland! Thank you Peggy for all the tips and ideas of places to visit and places to eat. There is plenty to do round this area if you like exploring 😃 Downpatrick well worth a visit

Hillcrest Farm is tucked away off road. It can be hard to find, and our satnav took us on a mystery tour before we found it. But once found, all good!

It was so peaceful, perfect for us as we'd been travelling for two weeks. The view from our room was lovely, nice space and ensuite. Peggy was very accommodating for our breakfast fresh fruit salad and yoghurt was our choice. Wish we'd taken up the offer for walking.

Hillcrest was just excellent in every way from Peggy greeting us at the front door to our beautiful room so clean and comfortable and the amazing view .The bed was so comfortable had a great sleep. Breakfast well I felt like royalty in the beautiful setting with a lovely open fire on , I didn't want to leave . Excellent all around 10/10 . Definitely be back .

The property is nicely located in the hills of County Mayo, and not too far from town of Ballina. We enjoyed walking in Belleek Woods along the River Moy and exploring the nearby hills. Peggy's lodging suited our needs more than adequately.

The only feature we found limiting was the shower space. The area is enclosed by a partition which we found to be somewhat cramped. Otherwise, the hot water heater worked nicely so no problem washing up!

We had a great stay in a remote location, exactly what we were looking for. The room was really spacious, extremely tidy and the bathroom had a bathtub (together with shower) and a lot of space, too. Of course, lovely breakfast with multiple options to choose from :) thank you for a warm welcome and all nice touches (tea, coffee, water, milk and etc.)

If you are looking for a quite, blissful getaway, this is the place for you. The B&B is located in a rural setting about 15 minutes from Ballina town. The house is gorgeous and our room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and it is a peaceful haven as there is no traffic. The shower was perfect. Peggy takes good care her guests and has lots of local knowledge. Breakfast was amazing too. We had a really lovely restful stay. Thank you.

Stunning location and lovely property which was nicely decorated. Very spacious bedroom and comfortable bed. Beautiful views to hills and over the countryside at breakfast …. even on a cloudy morning! Comfy sitting room. Short drive to Ballina or Foxford for pm meals. Home made baking available until 5pm. Friendly warm hostess. Plenty of parking space.

Peggy was an excellent host, and very kindly made gave us breakfast at a very early hour. She also made us a packed lunch to take away for very little extra cost. The setting is beautiful, peaceful and we would love to have been staying for longer, for the peacefulness and to explore the area.

When we arrived we where made very welcome Peggy is a super human being with quiet but helpful ways. I would recommend the place very much especially being so remote and peaceful.

It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Not too far from enniscrone and balina..need a car but we had ours so was perfect.

Breakfast was lovely ..a variety of cold platter...would v loved some eggs...but that's not a complaint..all was good..

Hostess was friendly and helpful. Our room and bathroom were comfortable with plenty of room. A bathtub for a soak was an added bonus for the weary muscles from all our hiking. Breakfast was good.

If you are looking to have quite and blissful days this is the place for you. It is located in a farm about 15minutes from Ballina city center, better reached by car (not sure about public transportation). House is gorgeous and our room was very spacious and spotless. I’ve never been to a B&B that was so clean, honestly. But what stood out for me was the good smell once you enter the room, towels, bed sheet, everything smells so good. Peggy takes good care of the place and the guests. Breakfast was amazing too. We had a pleasant time.

The room was great, big, very comfortable and carefully and very well decorated. The place was very well located. Ballina was just 15m by car and had everything one needed, including several electric car chargers.Which in my case who own an electric car was essential to make this B&B a quite and well decorated place in the midle of the field, but an extraordinary central place to explore all the region. The host was fantastic a naturally kind and nice people. For us it was simply fantastic.

We simply loved everything. Keep on with the wonderful, kind and polite good work you are doing.
