The "cabin" was amazing! It matched the photos exactly, with an incredible view and every amenity that we could need or want. The beds and chairs were very comfortable. Sarah was great at communicating. This was a very special place to stay!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen. Alles war sehr sauber, die Betten bequem, eine ruhige Lage mit wunderschöner Aussicht und wir hatten das Glück Polarlichter zu sehen. War ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Erg ruim, mooi en net huis met geweldig uitzicht. Lekker bed, heerlijke douche, complete keuken.

Location great as long as you're looking for quiet. We could watch auroras through the big window and decide when to go outside. For us (3) the house was big, it can handle 5 people comfortably and is very well equipped for cooking.

Cleanliness could be improved a bit. Be aware the slope to the house is steep and full of snow in winter - 4WD recommended.

Nice, comfortable cabin on a hill, with big windows and a lovely wide view of the Lyngenfjord and mountains. Quiet location. Fully equipped so we could make our own food.

The owner warned us in advance but I couldn't safely make it up the hill in my rental car. I parked near the main road and it was like a 5-minute walk with our suitcases. The view was great but was partially blocked by another cabin.

Die Lage ist fantastisch. Die Unterkunft ist geräumig und gut gepflegt. Im Winter werden zwei Parkplätze am Haus geräumt.

Sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Im Oktober noch einfach zu erreichen, später könnte ohne 4x4 schwierig werden.

We instantly fell in love with this place. The moment we stepped into the house, we were greeted by a breathtaking panoramic view of the Lyngen Alps through the large living room window. It's like a living painting that changes with every hour. The house was extremely spotless, spacious, and felt like a true retreat. It really is the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Our host was incredibly kind, always reachable, and made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. We left with beautiful memories and are already looking forward to coming back!

location is great for viewing Northern Lights and the view is fantastic lots of cooking equipment and we also found all spices we needed

in winter, without a 4x4 driving up to the cabin is a bit tricky The mattress was a bit too soft for our taste

Secluded cabin near lyngenseidet, 15 min drive from Lyngseidet. Big Windows in the living room allow for watching the northern lights even without leaving the warm inside. Perfect for hiking or skiing in winter. Only one Restaurant nearby, but we knew this before and bought everything we needed to Cook. We had a wonderful stay and got to watch some amazing northern lights over the fjord. If you stay here, I recommend you visit the Aurora Distillery. Its the northernmost Distillery in the World.

Everything was perfect. There was an issue with the pipes on the shower last night, which was a huge inconvenience. However, it is normal for cabins in the woods so be mindful of this.

Great property in a great place with amazing views. Sarah was amazing and very helpful. The cabin has all the items you need to cook spices wise. There is also coffee and filters in the cabinet. We had a great amount of snow, saw the northern lights on multiple occasions (even saw a shooting star go through the Aurora) and had some great drinks at the distillery.

The double bed is too soft and a little bit small for two people. But it’s very personal opinion .

The Distillery Cabin is located in a beautiful and tranquil setting overlooking the water and the Lyngen Alps. The cabin has stunning views of the mountains from almost every window and we were incredibly fortunate to also see the northern lights during our stay. The cabin is very comfortable and spacious with a large bathroom including washing machine, and three bedrooms (one attic room with lower ceiling and two single beds, one double room and one small double room). The kitchen has everything you could need to cook with a huge array of kitchen equipment and appliances - we could not have wanted for more. There is a dining table seating six and comfortable sofa and chairs. There is also a fireplace, but we did not need to use it. The cabin is located about 15 minutes drive north of Lyngseidet in a small community of other cabins and a 5 minute walk from the Aurora Distillery, which is well worth a visit. The beds were very comfortable and shower was hot with good water pressure. There is parking immediately outside the cabin. After other reviews, and mention of WiFi quality by the host, we were very pleasantly surprised by the WiFi, which although a little slower sometimes, was reliable and continuous. Note that there is no terrestrial or streaming service to channels on the TV, but we loved working through the extensive range of DVDs available. Our hosts Sarah and Jem were very responsive to deal with and we were delighted when they contacted us to advise of aurora borealis activity happening in the sky immediately overhead. The cabin was absolutely delightful to stay in and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We can recommend without reservation and hope to return to this beautiful part of the world.

Very nice and cosy cabin, fully equipped, we had what we needed. We had a luck for the weather, so the view was breathtaking, both the day time and during the night, watching the aurora.🤩

The cabin was clean and nice, on a fantastic location.

The departure time was a bit early, considering that cleaning of the place was expected. There were no instructions available e.g. for heating, use of the fire place (no wood available) or where to leave carbage. The smell of the linen and towels was heavy for an allergic person.
