A home from home! Comfortable beds, full kitchen well stocked with all utensils needed to cook etc. lovely big garden for the kids to play football on the evenings. Only 10 minute drive into Claremorris if you need bits from Tesco or Aldi. So quiet & peaceful.
I suppose if I had to pick something only having 1 bathroom between 5 of us, but we managed ok. A second bathroom would have been a bonus but again, it wouldn’t stop us from returning.
We had such a lovely stay, the house was beautiful and spotless and came with everything you need for a comfortable stay, and Martina is a lovely lady very welcoming, we will definitely return again when we visit Ireland!
Nothing, everything was perfect.
Fantastische locatie , rust en landelijk en een hele vriendelijke en gezellige gastvrouw Leuke routes gereden en mooie watervallen en een Gin brouwerij bezocht

We enjoyed our recent four night stay at Green Acres. We got to meet our host Martina and her husband. Martina welcomed us upon arrival and checked again during the visit to make sure all was well. Very nice location, not far from Westport, Croagh Patrick, and other places to visit. Plus nice marked local walking routes. We enjoyed watching the six cows in the pasture next to house.
Lovely quiet location. Very nice accommodation, comfy beds.
Everything !!

The house was much bigger than expected - it was very spacious! It had everything we needed & we enjoy being able to cater for ourselves on holiday. Host was very welcoming & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The location, the host and of course the property. The views were amazing and the peaceful, quietness was out outstanding.
Maybe a slightly better shower head.
Location near Knock, beautiful farming area, quiet, comfortable, and clean. Owner was a pleasure to work with.

We loved the cattle and the beautiful green fields and flowers that surrounded us. We had tea, milk and sugar on arrival. The hosts were very attentive and friendly.
Too short a stay!
Beautiful house in a beautiful spot. Martina was great. Highly recommend.

Spotlessly Clean, Very warm and cozy
Martina is an amazing host, very friendly and helpful. The house was a home away from home, very private, extremely comfortable and clean.. We will definitely be going back.
Hosts amazing. Lovely clean warm house with10/10 beds. Very well equipped . Beautiful countryside

We rented a house for our vacation, and while the property itself was nice, the host’s behavior completely ruined our stay. Having traveled extensively across Ireland, I have never encountered such rudeness and unprofessionalism. We paid €760 for the rental, expecting that all basic utilities, including electricity, were included in the price. However, during our stay, the electricity went off, and the host informed us that we were responsible for topping up the electricity meter ourselves. This critical detail was not disclosed beforehand, which is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the host accused us of overusing electricity, citing activities like doing laundry, cooking, and using heaters. For a rental of this price, isn’t it reasonable to expect these amenities to be included? Guests should have the freedom to use basic facilities without incurring extra charges or being made to feel guilty. The host’s unpleasant attitude and lack of professionalism caused unnecessary stress and significantly disrupted our vacation. If you’re looking for a peaceful and hassle-free holiday, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
Very clean and very nice property

Nothing it was so good
Lovely clean and warm property. Martina was so helpful and close by for any issues. Lovely countryside location but also close deive to Claremorris. We’ve been two times now and enjoyed both visits.
Martina was lovely, she showed us around. House was very clean, comfortable and cosy. Beds very comfy
Lovely detached cottage and gardens in a quiet rural location but well situated to.the lovely town of Clairemorris and also near to Castlebar and Westport
Lovely house, with plenty of comfy beds. Big spacious gardens for kids to run around & a nice patio to sit out in the evening. Was only there for one night but wish we had another night.
It was a bit chilly at night (even though it was the middle of July)
The house was great, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and we slept really well. Martina was very friendly and accommodating of our needs.
Martina was great and lovely to speak to. She showed us around and explained all the workings.
A lovely, cosy 3 bedroom house to choose for your stay on holidays. Martina is a wobderful host, she was there for us all the time whenever we needed her. House was very clean and well maintained with plenty of space in the rooms. We had a lovely time. Would definitely come back to stay when we visit knock or surrounding areas.
Lovely peaceful location, lots of wildlife and nature. House had everything you could need. Martina was very helpful. Thank you.
The house was awsome, clean and very well furnished. The host was very kind.

We did not spend much time at the property. It met our needs.
Was worried about running out of electricity in the middle of a shower.
A lovely home Everything was just as described Amazing views, great host's
Lovely and quite house was warm as the host had on heating on our arrival
We had a 3 night stay in this property, as a family of 4. It is a really lovely, homely house. It is warm and cosy, and it is equipped with everything that you could need. The beds were very comfortable. The hosts were brilliant and really helpful. We would definitely stay at this property again in the future.
It was wonderful - everything was great. Had my best nights sleep in years as my bed was so comfortable!
There was nothing we didn't like, except having to go home after falling in love with Ireland.
🏠 🐄 Everything was amazing, just like we expected 👌 Good value for money 💰👏 Very comfortable beds 🛌

The host is amazing and she welcomed us upon arrival. She was super good and helpful and made sure we are comfortable. I highly recommend this place to stay. The house is well furnished and very comfortable.
The house was really lovely and homely, very clean and catered to all our needs. Our host Martina met us when we arrived and was just so lovely and friendly, showed us around the property and gave us information about the local area and nearest shops. Martina also gave us a text a few days into our holiday to make sure all was OK which I thought was really nice.
Honestly the only bad thing about our holiday was the weather, we have young kids and although there is a lot to see and do in Mayo, they just wanted to be outdoors, But unfortunately it rained every day!!
Home from home
All was good
We were "rescued" by the wonderful host as we ended up in another town with the same name but in the next county!!! The owners are lovely and committed to ensuring you are as comfortable as possible during your stay. Once we were settled in the location turned out to be perfect for us as our connections to Ireland are In county Galway and Mayo and the property is pretty much in the centre of the two-- easy access to both.
Nothing I can think of!
Peaceful location.
Martina was a lovely host. The property was very clean, with lots of room. Kids were delighted to find cakes left in the cupboard for them. Great location. Beautiful views.
Patchy wifi, for a family with autistic kids this is not ideal.
Martina is lovely welcoming host, she went above and beyond to help us locate people who new of our ancestors ,by telephoning and receiving calls for us. The cottage is great.
You really need a car ,as there is no shop if you run out of anything, to walk to . There are no negatives at all
Martina was very friendly and knowledgeable regarding thing to do and places to see
Beautiful place in a lovely location, everything we needed
Lovely rural location. Self catering

nothing
Loved the quiet location, the views are just beautiful. The accommodation was everything you needed, clean and very equipped. We loved the log burner too in the evenings
in a lovely location ideally situated, very peaceful to just chill out
Internet access was spotty
The home was beautiful, very clean and had everything we needed for a family which consisted of grandparents, parents and a 5 year old! The hosts were fantastic, so helpful and friendly. Our Daughter loved watching the cows being taken in for their cornflakes in the morning! The huge front Garden was also a bonus. Nothing was too much trouble, and the hosts even came to wish us farewell on leaving. Area is ideal for exploring the West, nestled in County Mayo, you are close to Galway and Roscommon also, with easy and quick access to motorways etc. We were so happy we have already booked our next trip here!
