Great location!
Lovely cabin but just wished it was a little closer to a town. We have kids and being closer to town would have been better for us.
outside shower! A bit cold!
It is in such a beautiful location, excellently equipped for everything we needed with self catering and 2 sledges for use by the children. There is a sauna and shower room and a gorgeous fire. The beds are comfortable, the cabin superbly clean and warm and super cosy.
There is nothing we didn’t like.
location, Cabin. It was magical
May be needs little bit more briefing but it is a not major issue .
Highly recommended. Very quiet, clean and cozy. Management and communication was excellent.
Superb Location in between Nature , excellent cabins and host.
Nothing, wish we could have stayed couple of more nights.
Everything. Quiet beautiful snow covered surroundings. Well stocked comfortable cabin (bring your own food supplies). Magical snow land.
Loved the property. Our only negative was that Cabin 1 kept getting smoky from the fire. Cabin 2 was perfect.
Cozy environment.
Our host Mike, is a wonderful person. He was polite and friendly. The night we reached he took us on a spontaneous Aurora hunt, since the next two days were cloudy and sunny. We didnt manage to see the northern lights but we had good company and he put in real efforts to drive us for 5 hours straight to find one. Thank you Mike. We will see you again.
The location was perfect, we saw the aurora everynight we stayed here!
Location, the cabin itself, Sauna
Sijainti kauniilla paikalla, myös kota löytyi. Mökin tilat näppärän kokoiset.
Entorno espectacular.
Tener poco tiempo.
Televisiota ei saatu näkymään..ei löytynyt singaalia. Suihkun kahvassa kromi revennyt, että avopuoliso sai haavan sormeen.
Everything matched the pictures. Cleanliness was immaculate and as allergic people or standards are high. We were upgraded with no charge. Beds and bed linens were high end. Attention to detail was high, even the AC had been turned in before our arrival for a superb first impression.
Nothing really. The only thing that would raise the cabin to luxury level would be better kitchen equipment, like an induction stove.
Siisteys, uintimahdollisuus purossa, hyvä sauna.
Every thing. Perfect weather, great location, nice property. Loved our stay.
Just a feedback, if there is a coffee machine available in the kitchen, having the coffee powder as well would be nice, esp. since the supermarkets are like 10 mins drive. Btw, the pics on site don't do justice to actual look & feel of the property, much better when you visit the place.
The cabin was perfectly equipped with everything we needed. It really is a perfect place to stay in a dreamy location. We had no issues during our stay and would love to come back one day.
We loved everything. Honestly.
Unfortunately we were only there for 2 nights!
Jaana and Mika made our stay so enjoyable. The cabins are lovely, the perfect distance out of town to relax in between all of the fantastic activities our hosts helped us book. Easy access into Saariselka, great cooking facilities in the cabin and an authentic Finnish experience. Jaana booked our activities for us which was so easy. All transfers were included as well as the thicker winter suits and boots that kept us warm and dry. If the weather wasn’t in our favour, it was no problem when the activity needed to be rescheduled. Jaana had it all sorted for us in a flash. Very sad to leave this gorgeous place.
Mika was great. Very helpful and gave good ideas on snow walks.
We liked everything. Mika the host was amazing, the cabin is really well equipped with everything. I highly recommend them.
Nothing loved everything
Sauna was brilliant. Lapland dinner was amazing and cosy. The owners were so helpful and accommodating and really make this place special.
The rooms are connecting, which means you can hear next door, which is really only a concern in the morning. This isn't a bad thing but more of a heads up for future people who stay - stop and get groceries on the way so you have food and drink in the house.
Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The property exceeded all our expectations – cozy, well-maintained, and with an amazing atmosphere. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The activities they organized added an extra touch of magic to our experience and made our stay unforgettable.
Beautiful cabin situated by a lovely river and nearby hiking trails. My mom and I stayed here and ended up seeing auroras BOTH nights. It was magical. We loved sitting on the porch for breakfast and the private sauna. For those guests who didn’t like the shower out in the sauna room- we actually PREFER it this way! Then you can take a cold shower after sauna-ing. It is intentionally designed as such!
The fire alarm in one bedroom had a low battery and was beeping when we arrived. The manager said they would replace batteries, but they never did… which can be very dangerous. There’s also a bad smell of burning oil in one bedroom if the heater is on! And the two bedroom doors and bathroom door all open into each other in chaos- not great design
The location of the huts is amazing! The surrounding nature is beautiful and it is very quiet and private. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating and the organized activity was great. We also enjoyed the sauna and the barbecue hut.

Mika was a very friendly host, the cabin is very cute and clean. The view is beautiful, the cabin is conveniently located with ski resort and grocery store nearby. Mika was always close by, ready to help. The dinner in the beautiful Kota was very pleasant, we were the only ones there. Mika is a very friendly talkative host and a good cook.
The mattresses are a bit hard and there are no thick curtains that won't let the light through. The dinner in the Kota was good but too expensive.
Everything.
Nothing.
A different world here. Small place with few cabins, beautiful surroundings, nature and snow. Good experience to stay here than normal hotels. You may see reindeers if you are lucky. Host was nice and helpful. Very efficient to solve any problems and answer queries. Well equipped kitchen. Unfortunately we didn't see any aurora during our stay. Quiet place and good for long walks. Make sure that you bring enough food and drinks for your stay. Also some first aid stuff, just in case. The amenities and restaurants are quite a distance. Taxi is very expensive here.
Nothing!
Our family of five just returned from staying here and we would certainly go back again. Everything was great. The hostess was very responsive with the questions I had before we left. The host picked us up at the airport and took us to the cabin. He took the time to talk us through everything about the surrounding area and discuss the activities we had scheduled in the coming days. They made sure we had a great stay. We owe our great vacation to their personal service! The cabin was also wonderful- it had everything we needed, was clean and warm and cozy. I can't say enough good things about this place and the host and hostess. The accommodation alone was worth a great rating and if you want a personal experience and like meeting local people- this is would be an amazing choice.
Amazing place! Really recomended, but by car
Everything was great. The Cabin was spacious and clean, and it was very comfortable staying there. There was a kitchen complete with cooking equipment, with plates, glasses, pots and pans, utensils, so you can cook your own meals and keep your costs down. There’s a coffee machine too. If you book airport transfers with them, they will take you to the supermarket first before proceeding to the Cabin so you can buy everything you need. The hosts Jaana and Mika were very kind and gracious. They even allowed us to check out late for free when they learned that our flight would leave at 6:00pm. If you’re thinking of spending time in Lapland, stay at Polar Aurora Cabins. You will not regret it.
Nothing.
