It was rainy season and there were some leaks but it was resolved asap to our surprise - really amzing service from Kuya Don

Reviewed Jun 21, 2025Our stay with sir Don's place is very much comfy and hassle free. We were able to cook our own food and very much accessible to SM and baywalk area. There was power interruption on our last day of stay but this doesn't affect our almost perfect stay at this place. Sir Don is so accommodating and so kind. Kudos to air Don's epitome of true hospitality. The place is so clean with no crawling insects, haha! The place is very much maintained although there maybe minor issues that need to be renovated. But generally, we are very much satisfied with the place.
The power interruption experience but the place is so good.

Great location as it is only about 10mins away drive from the airport, 5-10min walk to SM, numerous restaurants nearby, and easily accessible. The whole house is spacious, comfortable, fully air-conditioned, with access to a kitchen, separate toilet and shower. We were a group of 6 with a lot of luggage but it did not feel cramped at all. Don was an amazing host -very responsive to messages and he made our stay as seamless as it can be. He provided such good service that we cancelled our other reservation and booked this property again when we got back to Puerto Princesa!

Reviewed Sep 20, 2024This two-story property was spotless and had nice warm lighting. We felt like our own home. The host was very kind to us and helped us with booking tours, and cars and provided good suggestions to plan our trip.
There was only one toilet and one washroom on the property, so sometimes we had to wait longer to use them. But if you consider booking a 8-bed dorm room at any hostel, I guess the situation would have been same. So, its not much a big deal

Reviewed Aug 27, 2024Everything in this place is perfect. Near to the airport, SM Puerto Princesa and other establishments. The house is big enough for group of 8 and we love the aircon in the living room since we gather most of the time here. Cheaper price :)
It is not a big deal but I will tell it as reference; there should be at least 2 bathroom for bigger place like this; the A/C at the 2nd floor room is older.

The cooking pots and pans are coated, supposedly non-stick but everything is scratched so its not safe to use, it's carcinogeniic.. I have to buy my own pot and pans to use.. The house have entities living there , it's a bit haunted so I'm not going back there.

You will immediately feel at home. Among everything, the most pleasant was to meet the owner (Kuya Don), who's very kind, helpful, accommodating, and joyful. It was really a great stay and we will definitely visit again! Merci Beaucoup again Kuya Don, you're the best!!!

There wasn't any ac in the bottom bedroom just a fan which made it quite warm but everything else was really nice.

Even better if there were thicker blankets and extra pillow, nevertheless still a great stay! 👍🏻

The photos do not correspond to reality. On hard benches, there are no cushions. One room that is windowless, it's not even in the pictures. The windows are rotten, dirty. The house needs repair.

Reviewed Dec 16, 2022AC was good, enough plates and utensils for all. Shower was nice and warm. Plenty of outlets and a few extension cords for easy charging of devices. Host was helpful and returned to bring the rice cooker which wasn't there at check in.
Listed as having parking, but it was street parking against a fence wall with half the car on the road. Not ideal or easy with kids, either hit the car door against a concrete wall or risk having the kids get out in traffic. Downstairs bedroom really wasn't Air Conditioned and the door had to be open all the time with some hope that the living room air would migrate in. No real address provided until we made contact with the host, that's odd. Generally clean unless you looked on top of things, could do a better job cleaning even where you think folks won't likely look Furniture is hard and very uncomfortable, Its all bamboo with no cushions.

Reviewed Oct 7, 2022We had everything what we need in the house, it felt like home and away. Don ( the owner) was very helpful and friendly. I arrived in Palawan with my family without Itinerary. Luckily, Don was very accomodating he helped me arranged our underground tour, City tour, Honda Bay Island hopping, Tour A Island hopping in El Nido and Van transfer from/ to Puerto to El Nido. The host also let us checked out until 4pm instead of 12 noon without extra charge. 🙏 Thank you so much, Don. God Bless you!
