Not quite as overtly welcoming as some of the places i stayed at, but it grows on you. Good location and good value for sure.

Smokers beware, no smoking on the premises. You get kicked out right into the street if you want a puff. It's a pity, as there is no food and not even a kettle in the room, guests are not allowed to use the kitchen. If they were, maybe the atmosphere would be a bit more convivial.

The accommodation staff were lovely and very welcoming. The place was clean, comfortable, and located in a quiet area which made the stay very relaxing. I would definitely recommend staying here.

It wasn’t the cleanest. Bathroom was TINY, could barely shower. Rooms were a bit creepy, I wouldn’t stay here alone

Good value for money, clean rooms and common spaces, within walking distance to many bars, restaurants, points of interest, very nice staff, free drinking water, inexpensive coffee and breakfast available.

If there was a kettle in the common space to prepare your own tea or coffee anytime you like that would be great.

Flooding is a concern

I had a problem with the air conditioner

A cute little pension house with great owners, a lovely decking to sit and relax. Its only about 500m from town and all the shops and local restaurants in the area are super friendly!!

Nice hotel, close to the airport but on a very noisy street. Internet only at the reception and veranda. No WiFi in the rooms. Small rooms, some without a window for 1 night only.

Comfy bed, AC in the room works very well, nice terrace to chill.

The room is very cosy, with bamboo walls. It was clean and tidy. The ac was good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast pancakes before my tour was nice. There is a nice area upstairs with plants that you can sit for breakfast. Water available.

The bathroom is rather simple - shower, toilet and sink all together in a very small room. I think if you were a bigger person you might find it uncomfortable. No bedside lamp.

Good place to stay in puerto princesa, not far from airport. Friendly and helpful staff.

A/c was great not too loud! Location was also perfect! 10 min walk to a cafe, restaurant or the shops! About a 10minute tricycle ride away. Really friendly and helpful staff!

Cockerels and dogs making noise at 2-4am was quite annoying but nothing the hotel could do about it :)

Good value for money, not far away from main points in Puerto Princesa (Baywalk, malls, etc.). You can walk everywhere. the staff was very nice, as we had no change to pay the Trike driver, they borrow us some pesos to pay. We arranged the tour to Underground River which is a must see when in Palawan. They have cute dog :)

Would not recommend staying here at all, location is not good, nothing to eat in the area. Kitchen in the property is disgusting, saw cockroaches everywhere. They present the deluxe room for the same price as the standard room, but the deluxe room doesn’t have a private bathroom and the standard has!! It’s a trick for them to make you choose the deluxe room. Bathroom is so small, shower is installed right above the toilet. Room doesn’t have daylight. Employees are unfriendly, didn’t give a warm welcome at all. We asked for a bit later check out (note: the whole hotel building was empty, not 1 guest) because we had a night flight and they wanted to charge us around €15 per hour for this, insane!!

The location and staff were nice.

It was very noisy. The air conditioning was right next to the bed (less than knee height), so it blasted right at you when in the bed while the rest of the room was still hot.

Pictures shown in their ads aren't the same as the ones given to us during our stay, floors are sticky.

So my flight got in very late (10:30 PM), and I checked into this property to discover that the room for my three night stay did not have a bathroom in the room. The shower and toilet was a facility out I. The hallway shared by several other rooms. It was too late to do anything about it that night as they were full, but I was told maybe in the morning. As I read the room’s description, I could find no mention of a shared bathroom. Moreover, there was a reference to a balcony, so I rightfully assumed my room would have a window.. Silly Rabbit, what were you thinking? That balcony was of course a communal one, and you were on the ground floor in a cave of a room. Needless to say, I checked out the next morning, and walked away from the other two nights of my stay. I tried to use the book platform to get a partial review, but they of course ignored their emails and calls.

So I had originally booked three nights at this location. My flight got in late, so I arrived at 10:40 in the evening to discover that my room did not have a toilet or shower in the room… I was expected to use a communal bathroom out in the hallway. Of course, none of this was mentioned in the description of the property. The owner said that she offered to change my room, but there was confusion on that issue. In any event, I checked out the next morning, and walked away from my last two nights.. Expedia says that they are working on a partial refund, but we will just have to see. The owner seemed nice enough, but the property needs to be clear in guests expectations.

Quiet with accommodating staff

The woman here is extremely kind and helpful and made us feel very welcome. A very comfortable stay, nice and clean. Me and my friend felt safe here and were very pleased. I would recommend the orange mangrove to anyone. Very reasonably priced, well worth it.

Property was great, really nicely decorated when you first walk in. Air Con was lovely in our room. The host was amazing! Such a nice lady and helped us with loads of advice

Greeted by a mouse in the bedroom, ended up using a towel to prevent it from re entering. Bathroom has limited comfort. Noisy with tricycles in the street

don't book any excursion there,because I book balabac 2nights 3days, 10 places to visit,I visit only 7, and I paid à lot of many, to some other place it is 2000 pesos less expensive for the same and I didn't receive the full program foreseen.

The floor make sound but it's ukie we shy to step maybe some customer that already sleep.

Perfect stopping point between destinations for myself. Also had time to wonder round puerto princesa with the bay view within walking distance from the hotel.

The rooms don't have private bathrooms. Shared Bathrooms are big inconvenience. The bathrooms are too small atleadt for hefty figure like me. But the room is good. The environment is peaceful and neighborhood is not too noisy. Property close to bay walk, so it is always refreshing going for a walk.

Soap was provided in the room, but when you are leaving for the day, you don't want to have to carry soap to and from your room. A soap dispenser in the bathroom would solve this. The pillows were very thin and only one was provided. I guess this is more of a preference, but I'd suggest either investing in thicker pillows or providing at least two.

Great value for money. Comfortable bed and good facilities for the price. We were only staying for a few hours overnight but it had everything we needed for our time there.

Room was very very small then shown in pictures. No window in room. Pillow and bed was so uncomfortable, that i had to leave this place and booked another place during my stay there. When u sit on commode, u literally sitting in the door.

The staff and location. Cleanliness. Love the veranda. We needed a place a few minutes away from where the government offices were, as well as at least within walking distance to the main road which is Rizal Ave/street. We also availed of their breakfast (additional fee but reasonably priced), basic Pinoy fare of rice, egg, meat, and either coffee or tea. The staffs were all very pleasant and easy to talk to; at least one or two were always around or by the reception area so you wouldn't be kept waiting or wondering whenever you might need some assistance with something.

Noise from outside, mostly from tricycles. Tight bathroom/toilet. Our first room to have stayed at had no ensuite toilet/bath, so it was quite uncomfortable to be going outside of the room in the middle of the night. The toilet/bath was always clean though.

This place is a delight to stay at. Beautifully and proudly kept premises with so many beautiful plants and so well maintained. The manager and her staff are so helpful. I would recommend a stay here for the budget conscious as we were but definitely not budget service. 5 stars for us...

Everything was perfect. As budget travellers, we don't expect a lot from budget accommodation. This place was perfect for us.

I like the garden. Maybe make it more welcoming. And I like it that it is near market and baywalk. You can rent a motor there. And there’s a food place near there so you can walk around

The bathroom is not spacious enough. And no water heater. The sink is also low so you have to bend and that is not much comfortable. Also I notice the mirror is a bit low.

The staff was really helpful and helped me quick with what I needed even if I arrived late.

The wifi was slow and often not working at all.

Not alot to do in Puerto so as far as being walking distance to the things to do it's a good location. Place is clean and cheap. I didn't hear any outside noise.

The hotel is near the city center. It is just walking distance to different places like the Baywalk and the Church.

Air conditioner is not in best condition although still functioning.
