Close to the beach and the main restaurant street. Just a short distance from the sunset cruise terminal. Helpful owner, who provided detailed information on car rentals, dining, groceries, and day trips. The space was kept very neat and tidy. No mosquitoes or bugs inside as long as the doors stayed closed. A quiet property featuring stunning, beautiful views. Complimentary drinking water was provided in the room. The resort staff were super friendly and nice.

There is nothing we dont like, but I would like to remind future guests, Grab might not want to come to the parking lot, best experience is renting a car.

This is literally a "jungle retreat". The wooden houses are immersed in the jungle, its trees, plants, scents, and animals. You can see it breathing just by sitting in the balcony or looking through the windows. Right below there's the beautiful colors of the seas and islands that surround the village. The host, mr Nan, has designed and lived in the place for 30 years. kept bringing us fruits, sweets, and offering advice for the many activities to do around the island. We wished we had more time to know him better.

Nice view, located very close to island hopping, when we reported an issue, they attended to it immediately.. House owner was very friendly, helpful and kind. He gave us a lot of tips about spotting animals n birds near the stay.

Facilities very ok .. not great .. Toaster did not work properly.. No AC in the living room, and the fan was also very slow .. have to stay inside the bedrooms on hot days .. Microwave was very dirty, not usable .. Toothbrush, handwash , face towels were not provided.

Bij aankomst werden we opgewacht en onze koffers werden naar het appartement getild, wat erg fijn was gezien alle trappen. Zainol(eigenaar) was zeer vriendelijk en kwam meermaals checken of alles nog goed was. Hij stelde voor om een boottocht te doen(samen met nog een ander gezin) en dit heeft onze verwachtingen overtroffen. Hij nam ons de hele dag mee, vertelde over Maleisie en over Sari Village, liet ons zwemmen en hij had heerlijk eten meegenomen. Het ontbijt is voortreffelijk, boek deze zeker bij hem (vooral als je van kokos houd). Het huis was enorm groot. We waren heel erg blij met de airco in de slaapkamers. De dieren rondom het huis was zeker een plus-punt, onze kinderen konden er geen genoeg van krijgen. Het uitzicht is fenomenaal. Je komt hier helemaal tot rust.

We moesten even wennen toen we aankwamen. Het huis en omgeving is in 35 jaar niet heel veel ge-update. Maar Zainol(eigenaar) en zijn gastvrijheid en alle positieve punten heffen dit zeker op. De eerste dag dachten we " wat doen we hier" maar gingen weg met " wat was dit fantastisch zeg" Ik had zo nog 2 weken langer kunnen blijven. De huiskamer heeft geen airco, dus het kan soms erg warm worden. Wij hadden een auto gehuurd via de eigenaar, dit is absoluut een aanrader aangezien niet alle taxi's de bult op durven rijden. Dit hebben we zelf mogen ervaren en dan moet je een flinke klim wandelen naar het huis.

We had a fantastic stay at Sari village resort. The house is huge and has everything that you could need for a stay. The resort is set in the jungle so you regularly see monkeys, beautiful birds, iguanas and frogs . It is close to town but you really need to hire a car ( which is so cheap) or order a taxi to get to and fro. The owner was so friendly and dropped us into town on numerous occasions rather than us call a taxi. He took us out on a boat trip and provided local breakfast and lunch and told us all about Langkawi,its history and all about the Mangroves. Would definitely recommend!!

Just one point - Grab drivers hesitate to come to this location since it is steep uphill. More so while returning from city. Pick up is still easy since the driver can easily see the pick up location before accepting ride.

Nous avons agréablement été reçu. L’hôte a pris le temps de nous faire visiter les lieux et de nous donner des conseils sur les visites à faire sur l’île. De plus, le petit déjeuner était délicieusement copieux. Nous étions une famille de 6 personnes et chacun a adoré le séjour dans la Villa Sari. Non seulement nous recommandons mais surtout nous reviendrons si nous sommes amenés à revenir sur l’île.

Amazing vila with nice sea view. It’s very big and comfortable. It’s 5 minutes drive to the nearest beach and central walking street with many good restaurants. But you need a car for comfortable staying in this beautiful place. And u will be live in a jungle and u can see a lot of animals. Monkeys, birds, frogs and also we saw a civet. The owner is very kind and he explained everything about island. Definitely, I’d like to return to such calm and natural place.

It's spotted on the slope of a hill towards the sea that makes it beautifully located. Nice for a stay with silence around nature.

Zusätzlich zu den anderen Kommentaren möchte ich anmerken dass wir ohne Auto oder Roller in der Unterkunft waren und es war ok ! Generell funktioniert Grab sehr gut auf Langkawi, 2 mal wurden wir ohne Probleme zur Unterkunft hingefahren. 2 mal hat Zainol ,der Besitzer, uns sehr netterweise gefahren. Wir sind auch mit unseren Kindern zu Fuss zum Strand gegangen, tagsüber ist das ein 15-min Fußmarsch und ist voll ok. Ein Teil geht ne grosse Strasse entlang aber es gibt ausreichend Platz auf der Seite und der letzte Teil ist sogar ein schöner Spaziergang im Dschungel. Nur 1 mal wollte der Grab-Fahrer uns nicht abholen und wir sollten den Berg runterkommen. Man konnte Frühstück im Hotel bestellen, was natürlich super ist mit der wunderschönen Terrasse. Ansonsten ist es tatsächlich ein magischer Ort. Anbei die Fotos von der Dusky Leaf Monkey Familie die in dem Baum direkt vor unserem Balkon die Nacht verbracht hat und die wir dementsprechend gut beobachten konnten direkt vom Balkon aus. Auf der Bootfahrt mit Zainol konnten wir sogar Delfine sehen ! Für uns war das Sari Village definitiv ein Highlight unserer Reise, ganz unvergesslich.

Das Haus ist mittlerweile etwas in die Jahre gekommen und zB im Bad wären kleine Erneuerung gut. Generell gibt es auf Langkawi wie leider überall viel Müll, es wäre schön wenn zB an den Inseln die bei der Bootsfahrt angefahren werden, dieser beseitigt werden könnte. Schade um den Müll im Paradies.

Я хочу выразить огромную благодарность хозяину за лучшие дни на Лангкави. Это была отличная перезагрузка. Нам предоставили виллу гораздо больше чем мы забронировали. В первый день хозяин провез и показал где арендовать байк, где хорошие рестораны и все ближайшие локации.

Det var rymligt. Gott om plats för familj m vuxna. Fantastiskt trevlig ägare som berättade allt man behövde veta. Härlig upplevelse att bo i djungeln m alla djur omkring sig. Även poolen var bra! Ingen affär i närheten men vi hade bil och använde Grab. Inte långt till stranden men jobbig backe på vägen tillbaka om man ska gå.

För vår del inga problem, men mycket trappor är nog svårt m yngre barn eller ngt rörelsehinder.

The most beautiful view on Langkawi.

Amazing location within the jungle but still close to the main beachfront in Langkawi. Zainol was very kind and welcoming and happy to help however he could. Pool was really nice and clean and often had the whole thing to ourselves. Really cool to have monkeys and wildlife all around. Room was spacious and well equipped. Would definitely recommend!

Sari Village is more than just accommodation—it’s a complete experience. From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed by Zainol, a wonderful person with lots of stories to share - we feel so blessed to have met him. The surroundings are stunning, full of trees and flowers, with an incredible view of the sea. On the balcony you can often be visited by curious monkeys, birds or squirrels. The place is out of the city, but still within walking distance. There are quite a few stairs from the villas to the main entrance, but this was not a problem for us, as we didn't even have large luggage. Sari Village is a must for anyone who loves nature and seeks to relax, unwind, and escape the busyness of everyday life. Moreover, Zainol also organizes a private boat tour exclusively for guests, which I highly recommend. You spend half a day visiting remote beaches, watching birds, and learning about the history of Langkawi. You can really tell how much he loves this island—he puts so much care and thought into the tour to make sure everyone has a memorable time.

Il gestore soprannominato Nana, un anziano artista ci ha illustrato e ci ha raccontato tutta la storia di Langkawi gentile e disponibile ci accompagnato più volte con la sua auto nei ristoranti nelle vicinanze ci organizzato inoltre una gita in barca intorno all’isola e tra le mangrovie abbiamo visto le aquile fatto il bagno in acque e in spiagge bellissime deserte senza nessun altro turista ci ha preparato due spuntini che ci ha servito insieme ai suoi ragazzi, insomma, un servizio cinque stelle. La struttura in sé è costituita da diverse villette in mezzo alla natura in mezzo alla giungla con le scimmie che arrivano fino ai balconi. Le stanze sono molto accoglienti ben arredate molto pulite e spaziose magari un po’ datate negli arredi

Mr Nur was very helpful and the location was fantastic. Strongly recommend the island hopping trip with Mr Nur. We stayed in a 3 BHK villa which was overlooking the ocean and had a great time :)

The retreat is a perfect place to enjoy the beauty of Langkawi. Peaceful yet only a few minutes by car from numerous food, drink, shops and salons. Our villa was delightful and comfortable. Zainol goes out of his way to ensure your stay does not disappoint.

Sorry for the delayed review. Always wanted to find some time to write but got carried away with work. First off, we had never imagined being able to stay in such a paradise apart from experiencing such warm and kind hospitality from the host. The unit was really cozy and clean with such an amazing window view where we got to watch the beautiful dusky leaf monkeys, hornbills, etc. The host was very informative and kind. Uncle always took his time to entertain us by showing us around and even brought us to his art gallery. He even left some delicious rambutans for us to enjoy and offered to upgrade our room for free to experience a different scenery during our last nights which we had to politely decline as we were so occupied that day and had no time to shift units 😂😂😂 House keeping was done almost everyday and the housekeeper was a nice man too. We had a good chat at one point. I would definitely come back again. Thank you so much for everything. Hope to see you again. We are already missing this place, especially the view!!! A must stay place if you'd enjoy a very quiet, private, and serene jungle retreat!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Just a suggestion to provide hand wash in the unit as we had some difficulty without it. Also, for night owls like us, we'd normally rise a little late, so housekeeping can be done when we are out. There was once I freaked out as someone kept knocking on the door when I was still in my night wear half asleep in the hall, and the curtains were not fully closed at that time as we didn't expect a visitor. I was rather embarrassed and had to wait till they left to get changed. Also, a bigger trash bag would be great as there was a day where housekeeping was not done, and there was no place in the bin to throw our trash and we had to wait until the next day.

Super plek weg van de drukte op een heuvel in Langkawi. Prachtig uitzicht en je waant je in een soort jungle omgeving in een groot appartement/huis. De sfeer ademt authentiek. Als je houdt van luxe en modern en drukte dan is dit niet de plek. Zainol is een zeer aardige attente gastheer/ eigenaar. We zijn met hem mee geweest op de privé boottour. Het was een unieke ervaring. Hij neemt je mee op plekjes waar je geen toeristen zult zien. Het ontbijt en de lunch zijn tijdens de toer ook heerlijk! Wij hebben iedere ochtend zo genoten van het ontbijt. Wat een feest. We komen snel terug!

The property itself is located in an exceptionally picturesque location. The view from any room is extremely beautiful. It truly is a jungle getaway, since you are surrounded by nature and greeted every morning with the pretty sight of green islands popping out of the beautiful blue sea, as well as the sounds of chirping birds such as the Hornbill and the occasional surprise of other spectacular animals. The host, Mr. Zainol is extremely passionate about what he does and treats his guests like family. He gave us a personal tour of the surrounding area in his car and also offered a helping hand to ensure our experience in Langkawi was as amazing as possible. His island hopping tour was fantastic, as he took us to deserted islands and beaches, away from the hoardes of tourists, that the regular tour operators would take you to. The island hopping tour with Mr. Zainol is a must do. Mr. Zainol also kindly dropped us to the airport, when we were unable to get a taxi early in the morning.

The room that we stayed in was a bit old fashioned but the room above was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately it was already occupied when we checked in.

位置确实有一点偏僻，如果上山的路装更多路灯就好了。有的Grab司机不愿意上山，但是大部分没有问题。卫生间设施有一点旧。

Noon, our host was so nice! He took time to explain us about his jungle resort which is so beautiful, and the animals that live in (leaf monkeys, varans, hornbills bird, ...). He has given us excellent recommendations for the visits (seven wells - dinner on Catamaran - beaches, etc) and restaurants . for example he has checked if the skybridge was open on that day and it wasn't because of maintenance. we could have lost a few hours without him. He drove us several time to Cenang. We have received a delicious breakfast in our house. He really took care of us and I truly thank him for that.

- the owner is friendly, cares and is v helpful - the views are lovely across the bay - the monkeys on the trees nearby and nature around - bed in main room was comfy - daily water bottles - clean pool

We didn’t find the property suited our family set up (young children) and agree with previous reviews on the need for renovation. - doors and windows fasten with 1 latch, no safety bolt/back up lock at top. One sliding door was broken to a balcony so it wouldn’t lock (fixed when raised). The drops from these were significant and we felt uncomfortable when children were in different rooms to us. There are only 2 bedrooms upstairs. There is a floor under the house with internal blocked off stairs down to it - there were large gaps children could have lent over/climbed up/dropped toys over - we found the the water system hard to use with scalding water sometimes - the kitchen area did not have any bowls for cereal (plates only) - WiFi non existent / very weak - mosquito plug ins led to daily dead things found by kids (lots of huge moths and one day, a bat). - Grabs v hard to get up the steep hill, esp at night - walked down the hill most days which was a hassle - pool area was tired with the plastic steps into the pool broken and some sharp tiles

Incredible views, amazing place! Right amongst the jungle with lots of nature/wildlife. Very peaceful but not too far from the beaches and Cenang. Noom was an amazing host with lots of knowledge and booked us a boat trip and was a personal tour guide. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay with incredible views, this is the place.

Not a major problem but can be tricky to find from the road. Cooking facilities in the kitchen would make this perfect for people staying longer.

Seaview and surrounding with tree. So excited to see monkey and squirrel jump on the tree early in the morning. Anyway, it's not convenience to get food. Better have own transport and prepare some food before go to the resort.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We’re two Australian families currently living in Kuala Lumpur, and we really appreciated the spaciousness and peaceful location away from the main street. The view over the bay was stunning—calm, serene, and the perfect place to unwind. The highlight of our trip was meeting Noon, the owner, who generously shared his local knowledge and took us on an unforgettable boat trip. We truly hope to return someday.

Where to start... we only stayed 2 nights (our last 2 nights before flying back to Kuala Lumpur), but we wished we could've stayed longer here. What an amazing place. The house was huge, with unbeatable views, large windows, 2 balconies and surrounded by wildlife (you will for sure spot monkeys and hornbills!). Also we loved the swimming pool. We had read the reviews about the boat tour with the owner of the place (Noon) so we asked to do this tour and he arranged it for us. And yes, it was an amazing experience. Noon had been super helpfull and kind with us in general. We left with tears in our eyes. This is for nature lovers that want to be in a quiet place but not too far from the touristic area (however you'll need a scooter/car/Grab to move around).

It's true that the resort could use some good renovations in general. But if that's not a priority to you and you see through it, you will only see the beauty of this unique place and never want to leave !

Overall, the stay was decent, but there were several issues. There was no staff available to help carry the bags, which was inconvenient. The AC was not working properly—probably because the room was big, but the AC unit was too small, and to make matters worse, the TV wasn’t working at all. These things made the experience less comfortable than expected.

The location is extra special. So calm and nature friendly. Waking up with such a view was dream come true.

This villa was very unique. The villa was big and we had our own balcony with sea view. There were some monkeys and birds in the jungle. The owner was very friendly and we booked a boat trip with him. This is what you can’t get from the tourist boats..

Id something to say, there is no foodstores or restaurants near the villa even to buy water or small things. So need to walk down from the hill or take a grab. But it is worth the view and surroundigs, you actually feel like you are in the middle of the jungle.

The villa we stayed in was in a wonderful location. The view from our terrace was something wow! Clean and fresh air, which we didn't get in other hotels in Langkawi. Monkeys greeted us every day. Lots of beautiful flower and various beautiful birds. Air conditioners worked in every room. The beds were very comfortable to sleep in. The shower was very good! The outdoor pool is clean, surrounded by lots of palm trees and beautiful vegetation! My husband and I felt like we were in the jungle :) We were greeted by a very warm and friendly man, Zainol, who takes care of the villas. He introduced us to the area and took us to a store for shopping. For my birthday, he organized a private boat trip. It was one of the best boat trips! He showed us and told us a lot about Langkawi! We visited more than 26 islands. We had breakfast on one of them, and lunch on the other. It was the best birthday present that I will never forget! Big thanks to Zainolis and his team!

The owner Noon took us for a beautiful trip on the island with breakfast and lunch, we felt special ! The accommodation Is simple but it feels like home! We really loved it!

Very Malaysian Jungle Retreat! A nice place to hang out with friends...just chill n relax! Transportation is definitely needed here especially of you het home when its dark.... Its isolated yet feels safe... Pak Non was very informative n was all too pleased to let us have a tour of his other chalets... very unique set up...

Zainol made our stay an incredible one. He welcomed us so nicely, explaining us his projects for the village he built alongside his relationship with nature and the animals living in the surrounding which made us super excited about what we would encounter. The place is so nice, typical, comfy and spacious. The view from the outside terrasses (several) are magical. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants peace, relaxing and a memorable view. Thanks again Zainol and we will surely come back to visit if we ever stop again in Langkawi.

The owner was super nice! He gave us such a warm welcome. He also organized a fantastic private boat tour which will stay in our memories for long time. The house we had was located on the hill, surrounded with a jungle, and with beautiful view of a bay. It was specious and comfortable, but ferintures seemed a little bit old. The mattress in the main bedroom was too hard.

The property is in a gorgeous location surrounded by lots of nature and wildlife. Saw the wild monkeys from our window which was amazing. Pretty, spacious villas with air con. Catered for all of our requests including a move of villa. The pool is clean and a good temperature. We used it daily. The hotel feels private as you have your own villa and there are few guests at one time to keep the serenity. Mr Noon offers a private boat tour which is a must. Only for the guests at the hotel, for half a day around the islands. We had lunch on a private beach and learnt more about the history of Langkawi. Also his local breakfast is recommended. Location is good - restaurants in walking distance as well as the beach (15 mins walk). We only had 1 grab that wouldn’t come up the hill otherwise no problems at all. Thank you Mr Noon!!
