Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Der Vermieter Edmund hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Wir waren nur für 1 Nacht am Weg zum Notdkapp im Haus, dass uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Das Haus war sauber, gemütlich eingerichtet und hat alle unsere Erwartungen perfekt erfüllt. Kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

House is great with great view onto fjord from living room and diner table. 3 bed rooms will fit more than 4. Great base camp to explore North Cap (1 long great day), Hammerfest (go Sweet Fantasy’s) and Havoysund.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026Edmund, der Gastgeber, ist super nett! Schade, dass wir in dieser Unterkunft nur 1 Nacht auf der Durchreise waren. Das Haus ist hervorragend ausgestattet und so liebevoll eingerichtet, eine Wohlfühloase. Abends waren wir noch auf dem Hügel hinter dem Haus ausgiebig spazieren. Kann man nur empfehlen!

Hosts were very friendly. Edmund gave us a fantastic suggestion to visit Trollholmsund which we really enjoyed. I highly recommend.

Die Küche ist super ausgestattet und für unser Kleinkind war auch ein Bett und ein Hochstuhl auf Anfrage gegen eine kleine Gebühr vorhanden. Edmund le propriétaire nous a donné des conseils pour les raquettes et, nous a même informé du moment parfait pour voir les aurores juste au dessus du logement.

Die Lage ist mit Blick auf den Fjord sehr schön und für Polarlichtbeobachtungen und Ausflüge Richtung Nordkapp ideal. Der Vermieter ist supernett und hat uns hilfreiche Tipps für lohnenswerte Ausflüge gegeben. Wir hatten hier eine richtig tolle Woche!

Reviewed Nov 2, 2025The owners are incredibly nice - pure kindness. Always available and ready to help and make your stay more comfortable and authentic as possible. Their dog is just the sweetest buddy you will meet during your trip and your stay here. The house has all you need. It is warm and cozy - perfectly located between alta and Nordkapp. You can easily explore the northern part of Norway with ease from here. Don’t be shy and go explore the small village all around. It is also a perfect spot to see the northern lights.

Reviewed Oct 27, 2025To miejsce jest świetne. Byliśmy tam tylko przejazdem i nie byliśmy w stanie wykorzystać potencjału tego obiektu. Gospodarz to porządny człowiek, bardzo pomocny i otwarty. Dom jest przestronny, bardzo dobrze wyposażony. Jest tam duży przedsionek, pokoje do spania, duży salon z kuchnią, a także fajny taras z widokiem na fjord. Chociaż obok jest droga ruch samochodowy jest znikomy. Pomimo początku września udało się nam zobaczyć zorzę polarną. Miejsce też jest bardzo dobre dla wędkarzy, my niestety nie mieliśmy czasu skorzystać z okazji, chociaż gospodarz oferował nam wędki. Planuję jeszcze wrócić w okolicę i z pewnością zatrzymam się tam ponownie.
Wszystko było OK.

Ab 17 Uhr bis 9 Uhr kein Verkehr, völlig ruhig, komplette Fensterfront und großer Balkon mit Blick auf den Smörfjord - großartig !! Komplett eingerichtetes Haus, sauber, bequeme Betten, kostenfreier Parkplatz, sehr gutes Wifi, sehr netter Vermieter.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2025Die Lage ist traumhaft und es ist eine gute Basis für alle Richtungen: Richtung Hammerfest, Stabbursdalen, Lakselv, Havoysund... Alles ist von hier aus gut erreichbar. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hat uns mit wertvollen Tipps sehr weitergeholfen. Das Quartier war für 6 Personen perfekt geeignet und super eingerichtet und sauber. Wenn ich wieder einmal in diese Gegend komme, möchte ich unbedingt wieder hierher kommen.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2025Et særdeles rent, velutstyrt og komfortabelt hus med flott beliggenhet, bare et steinkast fra fjorden. Edmund er en hyggelig og serviceinnstilt vert. Vi fikk forsinket ankomst på grunn av kansellert fly, men selv om vi ankom nærmere midnatt var Edmund på plass for å ta imot oss, og hjalp oss inn med bagasjen. Vi takket nei til tilbudet om å fiske, og fikk da til gjengjeld en stor torsk som Edmund selv hadde fisket samme dag. Det ble en nydelig torskemiddag!

The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful, and we were grateful that they shared their local knowledge with us. The view of the fjord from the house is amazing. We stayed for 8 nights and found plenty to do, including visiting Nordkapp, Hammerfest, Sorøya, the Lillefjord waterfall and the stones at Trollholmen. In addition, we enjoyed some lovely local walks and seeing the reindeer wandering by the house. We totally recommend a stay here.
