Íbamos había greytown y decidimos dormir aquí en lugar de en greytown y la mejor decisión . El dueño súper amable y todo nuevo y sin faltar detalle . Llevo 7 alojamientos distintos desde que llegue la semana pasada y este el mejor por ahora . No tengo fotos del alojamiento pero es súper acogedor y está todo nuevo y tiene de todo lo que tendrías si fuera tu casa o incluso mejor

The view of the lake, from bed upon waking every morning, is simply breathtaking- we won’t stay anywhere else in Masterton.
That we had to leave when our stay was up.

Reviewed Apr 11, 2025Gary & Karen were amazing hosts during our stay. The accommodation is a delightful cabin which was very comfortable and clean. This was a great spot to slow down on our trip around NZ. We also had the bonus of watching WWI planes flying around the area from the aerodrome just down the road. We were told later that Peter Jackson has 40 working planes at Masterton. Also went to Castlepoint for a drive to the lighthouse. Stopped at the Te Anui hotel for a great coffee on the way out and lunch on the way back. Nice little stop.

Reviewed Nov 14, 2024This property was the perfect place to stay when wanting to escape the realities of home. I was greeted by the very friendly Host who made me feel at home immediately. The facilities are top quality, with chocolate and milk in the fridge on arrival. The bed was THE COMFIEST and even the bathroom scent was a vibe. I most enjoyed waking up to the sun peaking over the ranges in the east and reflecting off the lagoon. Although traveling for work, staying at the property made it feel like an extended holiday.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2024Compact but well equiped, selfontained accomodation. Comfortable bed, everything we needed in the kitchen to make a meal, and a pleasant view out over the pond. The outside deck is large and would have been nice in better weather.
It was a windy night which meant that something (perhaps the piece of art) banged on the side of the building during the night, which didn;t help one of us slepp well.

It was a very cold couple of days but the host had the heating on before I arrived so felt warm and comfortable settling in. Lovely property to relax and unwind. Everything you need is readily available.

Wasn't a huge space, had to shuffle around the bed sideways to get in and out of bed. But really struggling to find something I didn't like. It was great
