We found our unit Comfy and warm with everything we needed for cooking. We were greeted with warmth and the lady running the Motel was extremely helpful and very pleasant.

We are very happy indeed

Good place in general

Its Emergency housing wouldnt of stayed there if I knew that only because it was noisy and people come and going all times of the night was the only issue

Comfy and clean

It was a bit cold (it was a chilly night tho) I found a second heater in the wardrobe but when I turned it on it was blowing smoke and looked like it wasn’t the first time cause I noticed brown burn marks around the front of the heater after I had tried using it. It needs to be thrown out

Lounge was big enough for 10 people to fit. Which was booked for 5 people

Bathroom and toilet both lock 🔐 not working. Need heater in bedrooms. Kitchen need refreshing. Milk only green top was available.

Heater was on when we arrived so it was nice and warm WIFI was easy to connect to Bed was comfortable Staff were nice

On arrival, opened the fridge door and there was water in the bottom of fridge and some scrambled egg!! Tried to find a dish cloth to wipe it up . . . no dish cloth Toilet door did not close, too big for frame. Shower curtain kept moving outside of shower, therefore flooding the area - maybe thats why the door would not close. Took a bit of searching to find the towels. Would be more practical on place on the beds vs on bottom of side table shelf . . where everything was white (side table, towels) and hard to see. Came back to Motel Saturday afternoon, to shower and head out . . . bed made, but no towels. Had to go get more from Office. These however were stained and smelly Lighting in general was dim

I love how comfortable clean and spacious the room was and staff were friendly kind and informative. The motel is also a 5 minute drive to all amenities

The staff were easy going, great to communicate with double checked check in time with me. The room was clean and well prepared for an easy stay. Great parking , in front of room. Close to town, easy walking distance.

Lighting could've been better, but was easy to still deal with.

A bonus to have a bath!

It was very hard to get warmth from the air conditioner. I looked at the filters, and I don't think they had ever been cleaned. The dust clogging the mesh was unbelievable. I cleaned the filters and yes - heat at last. The TV was confusing to use, especially as one of the controls did not have any batteries. A step by step guide to find the basic channels (TV 1, TV2, TV3) would have saved a lot of angst.

It was comfortable and cozy and warm.

It was not clean. Fridge had egg at the bottom of it. Rubbish bin in bathroom still had rubbish in it. We came with 4 of us and had 2 rooms for 2 nights. Our bed got made but the other room didn't. The towels were filthy, maybe stained but looked unwashed and no clean smell to it. We had to go and find towels in the afternoon for another wash, but had to wait for them to be washed and dried so no extra towels. Cobwebs in the corners.

Our motel was the most spacious and well appointed we have ever been in . Excelle nt to have a good arm chair with footrest., no just a couch. Clean, except we had to clean filter of the AC so it would warm up.

My room had obviously had a previous guest who was a smoker. What was dangerous is that there were no smoke alarms which surely must be illegal. The one in the room had been removed and not replaced.

Sliding door to one room was very noisy

Staff very friendly and helpful. Motel close to town 4 minutes away by car. The rooms were tidy and clean. Easy space to relax in. We enjoyed our stay. We would stay again.

I'm sensitive to dust so I removed the fluffy blanket on the queen bed.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Our car had trouble starting when we had to leave back home, they really went up n beyond to try help, even called a friend and got our car up n running again.

I liked the area and the staff

I didnt like the toilet it was pokiee not good for a big.person and the shower was terrible be cause the power of the water was just dribbling out.

Good size room with everything we needed. Clean and tidy. Good parking and convenient location for our needs.

Quite noisy. Walls were very thin and neighbours in the next room were up at 2am banging doors open and closed, cars were coming and going and we could hear the neighbour on the other side snoring.

It was affordable, comfortable and practical. The kids enjoyed their stay.

Kitchen equipment was poor standard. Electrical frying pan didn't work and regular frying pan was buckled with worn coating and pretty much all the cooking utensils were old and worn out.

Quiet location. Loved the swimming pool.

Place felt little run down. Person in next unit noisy so hence very little sleep. Unfortunately would not recommend or stay again.

It had everything that I needed. Close to the airport where my event was taking place.

were upgraded to the family suite which slept 7 - very high ceiling gave feeling of spaciousness. No noise from neighbouring units.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable. Every time one person moved in the bed it woke the other.

The owner is lovely and went out of her way for us, this was the 2nd time we have stayed and will stay next time we are in Masterton.

Lovely staff were very helpful. We were able to charge our EV. The kitchen facilities were good, so we were able to cook our own meals. The room was clean and comfortable. It was a very hot day and we enjoyed a dip in the pool.

There was no air conditioning. It was a very hot day/night and air conditioning would have made our stay much more comfortable. There was a smoker next door and the smell was awful. We were offered a change of rooms, which was nice.

Very spacious and comfortable room. Very good wifi connection. Friendly staff. Overall, very much enjoyed our stay.

Please ensure that the spa is available for use as advertised. My kids and I had just completed the 4-day Holdsworth Jumbo circuit and were very much looking forward to relaxing in the spa. That is one of the attractive features of Acorn Estate that made us choose to stay there. We were all very disappointed that it wasn’t available due to needing cleaning. I had no way of knowing beforehand that I should have asked about this when I checked in.

The bed was comfortable and the shower was fine and we had Netflix.

The spa was not operating which was not good and the light bulb had not been changed in the bathroom and it was dark.

The shower gel dispenser had run out of gel, and there was no milk provided for making tea/coffee

Good location, quiet, and generally very comfortable. Came with a good amount of cooking utensils and plates.

Facilities are a little dated, but adequate. The shower pressure wasn't good, but did the job. The instant coffee wasn't good, but they do provide a plunger, so make sure you take coffee grounds for a decent coffee!
