Reviewed May 26, 2026We had an absolutely wonderful stay in the Coromandel Town Harbourside Cottage and couldn’t have asked for better accommodation. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely relaxed. The place was spotless, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The location was perfect — peaceful, scenic, and ideal for exploring the stunning Coromandel region. The hosts were thoughtful and extremely helpful. What truly made our experience exceptional was the kindness and generosity of Jay and Lacken after I accidentally left my passport behind at the accommodation. They went completely above and beyond to travel to meet us to ensure it was safely retrieved and returned to me, taking so much stress out of what could have been a very difficult situation. We were incredibly grateful for their care, communication, and willingness to help. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Coromandel — a perfect getaway with genuinely outstanding hosts!

Vorhänge zum Verdunkeln der Schlafzimmer wären toll. Die vorhandenen Jalousien reichen nicht aus.

Reviewed Mar 29, 2026Wow what beautiful accommodation. We were so impressed with the attention to detail and it was like home away from home. Everything we needed was there, even books to read, cook books and a giant TV that hubby loved!! The decor has been very well chosen and perfectly clean. If we need to book accommodation in Coromandel Township again it will definitely be here.
There were no negatives at all. Honestly, we couldn't find anything we didn't like. You only have to read the visitor book on the coffee table and all travelers agree.

Location was perfect for a short stroll into town and there was easy access to walking tracks nearby. We'll definitely look to stay here again next time we come to Coromandel Town.

Bathroom shower has drainage issues and should be resolved before a guest experiences a flood. Has been reported to the Managers twice now. Seems the drain cover is hindering the flow as once removes, water goes away quickly.
