Apartment Aurora

This apartment is excellently located in the centre of Ypres. It is well appointed and has everything you could possibly need. The bathrooms, bedrooms and living area are well decorated and modern with high speed internet. The host is absolutely fantastic and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we required. If you plan to stay at these apartments speak to the host about private parking at €15 per night. Parking in Ypres is difficult with predominantly residential parking in the centre and free parking approx 500m out.

The location and space in the apartment was amazing

Mooi en ruim duplex appartement, heel proper, alles aanwezig, super goede ligging in stadscentrum nabij winkels, cafés en restaurants en nabij de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden, bed-, bad- en keukenlinnen en andere faciliteiten aanwezig, deels overdekt dakterras met uitzicht op kathedraal en mooi uitzicht op straat of op achtertuinen van omringende gebouwen vanuit woonkamer en slaapkamers, vriendelijke ontvangst, gratis openbare parking in de buurt

Soms veel straatlawaai (nadeel van ligging in stadscentrum), steile trap om tot in appartement te geraken

Supertof huis met 3slpk. Vriendelijke ontvangst en goede uitleg. Alles voldoende aanwezig voor 6pers. Klein tuintje..super om buiten te zitten. Fijne bedden en badkamers. Handdoeken aanwezig. Heel mooi verblijf.

Příjemný personál, který nám se vším pomohl. Prostorný a čistý apartmán se dvěmi patry. Umístění blízko náměstí. Dobře vybavená kuchyň.

V horkých dnech chyběla klimatizace a přes otevřená okna nás rušili sousedí z ulice. Na můj vkus byly měkké matrace.

Can't fault the location which is excellent. All amenities on your doorstep. Short walk to the main Ypres attractions. Apartment and house are modern and comfortable.

As a group we agreed that although a dishwasher is an asset, would've preferred a washing machine. Not a showstopper.

The location is really excellent - very close to the town square but on a quiet side street. The property is very well equipped and very comfortable, and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful as well.

L appartement était très propre, idéalement placé en plein centre d Ypres, très beau et très fonctionnel. Nous y avons sejourné 4 jours, c était très bien.

A clean and well located apartment.

Uns hat die Lage des Appartements sehr gut gefallen - man ist 2 Gehminuten von der Lakenhalle und der Kathedrale entfernt, und es gibt sehr viele Restaurants und Geschäfte direkt nebenan. Die Gastgeberin ist auch total nett, und wir werden hier sicher noch einmal Urlaub machen.

Alles war super!

Die Appartements sind wirklich wunderschön, die Lage ist optimal, und die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war bestens. Wir sind jetzt zum zweiten Mal hier zu Gast gewesen, und es wird sicher nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein.

Uns hat alles gefallen.

Prima appartement (helemaal niks mis mee) op uitstekende locatie in mooi stadje met veel aandacht voor historie WW1. Erg leuk.

Location was excellent being within a short stroll to the Menin Gate, eateries and the train station. Apartments are excellent - modern, spacious, with outside areas. Undercover, secure Garage parking available at a cost was a few mins walk from apartment. Host Karin was very helpful and accomodating. Would absolutely book again and recommend.

This was an attractive, comfortable and very clean apartment with a private garden seating area in an extremely convenient location for shops, eateries, museum, cathedral, Menin Gate etc.

There was no wash hand basin in the ground floor toilet which was located away from the shower and main wash facility.

The position was great, it was very clean and tidy. Everything was as it should be. The washing machine was a bonus.

The downstairs shower could do with a better support under the tray. Fly's are a problem in Belgium, generally it being so agricultural. Some kind of killer would help. However, none of the above would stop me booking again.

As described with lots of communal areas. Great location. We found checking in to be very easy. The house exceeded our expectations and we were sorry not to spend more time there. It was clean and bright with everything we needed for a short stay, there was even a step to reach high cupboards. The terrace is great on a sunny day. Comfortable beds

The central location was perfect, the home was beautiful, with lots of fabulous touches, loved the fact there was a selection to WW1 dvds in the drawer. Host was great with showing us places to visit and best places to eat. Loved that there was laundry liquid available. Overall we loved our stay,

Walking distance to everything

We loved it all , Karin was very helpful. It was spacious, warm and comfortable.

We liked it all. We think a double hand rail on the staircases would be helpful for both older people like us and maybe families with small children.

Ypres was lovely to visit

A clean tidy and bright apartment with a great patio perfect little sun trap. Excellent access to town and amazing to have use of the garage.

The owner was very polite and helpful. The apartment was very centrally located, extremely clean, and really good facilities. Spacioud bedroom with large and very comfy beds.

All was very good. Parking was available a bit of a distance away, but given the one way narrow street system, it was lucky to be able to get a park!

The three bedroom house was fabulous. Very clean with excellent facilities. It's location is perfect for the main square and the Menin Gate.

stairs are a bit awkward so wouldn't suit anyone with mobility issues but once you get used to them they were ok.

The apartment had everything we needed and was very clean in a very good location in the middle of Ypres. We also had a very nice veranda where we coupd sit in the sun. I couldn't fault this place and would book again. We also hired the electric bikes which were very good value for money and we used these to explore Ypres to the max. Karen our host was great.

If you don't pay for parking you have to leave the car in the middle of the town.

The property was in a good location, well equipped, and spacious. Lovely view from the balcony area, and a nice little place for breakfast.

You need to be careful on the stairs, on the way in and in the apartment, people with mobility issues need to be aware that the property has steep stairs, best to seek advice from the owner.

The apartments were in the centre of Ypres and so very handily placed. The hosts met us and showed us around the well appointed and beautiful apartments. Superb!

Great location and a good size with 2 separate rooms

It had a separate toilet and bathroom which wasn’t particularly convenient and the stairs up to the property were very steep and not suitable for elderly or if you have heavy suitcases

Location was absolutely fantastic close by to the Cloth Hall and main square 3 minutes walk away. Shops, Bars & places to eat again only 2 minutes away. Free parking 5 minutes walk away.

An excellent, comfortable & well appointed apartment. Karin gave us very clear instructions on how to find the apartment and, because some local festivities had led to roads being closed, her husband, Alain, came to meet us on his bike. We were very grateful.

we couldn’t put our rubbish in the recycling bins because the door was locked but a really small issue the stay was fantastic

Lovely light, airy apartment, very close to all places of interest in Ypres as well as lots of lovely brasseries and eating places. Efficient, friendly check-in and check-out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book Aurora apartments again.
