Reviewed Jul 5, 2026We absolutely loved our stay! The property was cosy, beautifully presented, and had something for everyone. The private hot tub was the perfect way to relax, and the kids had an amazing time on the flying fox and feeding the alpacas. Murray and Jackie were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We only wish we had booked for longer we’ll definitely be back!

Ruime woonkamer met zithoek en eetkamertafel, grote keuken (van alle gemakken voorzien) en zelfs een extra deel met twee bedden. Daarnaast nog een aparte ruime slaapkamer met aangevraagd kinderbedje en ook de badkamer was ideaal. En er was zelfs speelgoed voor ons zoontje van 1,5 jaar.

Reviewed Apr 23, 2026Enorm luxe huisje. We waren aangenaam verrast. Zeer vriendelijk welkom door de eigenaar. De hot tub hadden we van tevoren geboekt en deze stond voor ons klaar bij aankomst. ‘S Avonds sterren kijken vanuit de hot tub was een geweldige ervaring.
De slaapkamer met 2 losse bedden werd gesloten door middel van een gordijn? Geen idee waarom hiervoor gekozen is. Een wand met schuifdeuren zou een suggestie kunnen zijn misschien en wellicht meer privacy bieden.

Reviewed Apr 15, 2026Great private lodge in a lovingly looked after family business. The hosts were helpful and friendly. Everything you could need and fantastic attention to detail. The lodge was so clean that even the blinds had no dust. We loved waking up in beautiful lush private gardens with a view of Mt Dobson. And the best bit of all - very friendly alpacas to feed and grounds to explore. Was perfect for traveling with our 3 year old.

The host was very kind and attentive, always making sure everything was perfect. The room was spotless and exceeded my expectations — comfortable, cozy, and beautifully maintained. Reviewed Jan 8, 2026Großes Ferienhaus, toll ausgestattet. Sehr nette Gastgeber- sehr hilfsbereit. Leider konnten wir den Hottub nicht nutzen, weil wir leider zu spät angekommen sind (und nicht gebucht hatten) und nur für eine Nacht da waren. Empfiehlt sich auch sehr für mehrere Nächte.

The property is really amazing with a lot of diverse types of accommodation and they're all private from each other thanks to the beautiful greenery. Reviewed Sep 12, 2025两年前路过这里，看到路边的羊驼和小房子，就想着下一次一定要住在这里一晚。这次旅行很期待住在这里，我们两点多就到房间里，超棒的房间，特别温暖，还有小朋友的图书，厨房用品特别齐全，我们晚上还烤肉吃。我们临时预定了温泉，虽然晚上下雨了，但是真的不错。房东还给我们喂动物的饲料，我们玩的非常开心。以后还要来住。

Reviewed Sep 3, 2025A real gem.... The studio came fully equipped with all our needs. It was located in a rather nice area, 25 minutes from Lake Tekapo. There is a walk around the farm land where you will pass Llamas and some old farm machinery. We had such a lovely couple of days, shame it wasn't longer!
As an added extra suggestion (rather than something we didn't like, as we have absolutely no complaints) some cheap 'hotel' type slippers would be nice to keep feet from the cold floor.
