Reviewed Jul 22, 2026We loved everything about this motel. The hostess and her mother were super friendly and very helpful. This is an older typical kiwi motel but it has been modernised and has lovely decor and comfortable furniture. To be honest it had everything we needed for our stay.

I slept with the main light on as the lamp kept flickering on and off and my dog was unsettled looking at something in my room in the air and growling. I was a little scared by this so slept with the light on.

While it is an older property, the facilities were adequate, warm and cosy, very comfortable bed and furnishings, and Erin and her staff obviously enjoyed their work and were very friendly and helpful, especially Kerry. I had everything I needed for one week's stay. Little Alfred the doggie was a happy, warm little chap as well.
The shower regulator was a bit of a mystery to start with, but I soon got the hang of it. Hint: turn the shower on before getting undressed lol.

Reviewed Jun 14, 2026Because it was early winter in Fairlie with clear frosty weather our motel was very comfortable as it was designed to cope with the cold. I think it had floor heating and the beds were warm and very comfortable. There were nice touches in the room like plants that were flourishing in the warmth of the room. The motel had been built in the 1960s but it was still very nice.

ゴミ箱が少々小さかったかもしれません。しかし紙袋などで自己解決できる問題でした。 ベットの横のライトの消し方がわからなかった、ぐらいです。
