Absolutely astounding views and everything you need for self catering

The house was very good, clean throughout. The views were amazing and location was spot on
Beautiful location, peaceful surroundings.
Just a few minor things that would need attention, hot tap in main bathroom not working, need table lamps in the living rooms and mirrors in three of the bedrooms would be a nice addition for doing hair and makeup. But overall property was very clean and welcoming. And would stay again.
Everything it was spotless spacious offering for everybody great facilities great area and a little cash always waiting for us ready for cuddles outside the door. Everything was just fab.
Beautiful views and very comfortable beds.
All was good, no complaints.
Great property. Good size, well-located and gorgeous views.

The views were amazing with lovely hosts. Very clean and tidy with a homely feeling.
Nothing bad to say
Great location for peaceful relax with lovely sea views ♥️
The location , the view was amazing. The house was very suitable for 7 adults, very clean and tidy.
The bathroom shower was either very hot or cold. The Internet connection was a bit slow for 7 adults but we were out each day so not a big inconvenience.
Property was beautiful stunning views located in the beautiful countryside.. loads of space and has everything from washing machine dryer.. we will be back to stay again soon!! location was perfect 5 minutes to town and beach.. The hosts were very helpful and on hand if needed. Thankyou for a great few days ❤️
Beautiful location and responsive host.

The house was a perfect home from home, and the hosts were so helpful. The views were stunning, beds very comfortable and the bungalow was very spacious.
We are a bit adverse to "the big light" in rooms, so we would have loved some smaller lamps in the dining room and sitting room areas, but we took the bedside table lamps into those rooms during the evenings! Otherwise, we had no issues!
Spectacular view and family friendly surroundings..When we reached in the property they gave us a 2 bucket of turf its brilliant for the weather. The host is very good in communication, i can tell that they are good people..

Loved the beautiful surroundings, the owner is very friendly with nothing too much bother, we had 3 dogs with us and we were made to feel welcome, totally peace and quiet with facilities close by and not far from the beaches that Donegal is famous for. Would highly recommend.

Lovely view
Bit cold
Must say this property was perfect for our family holiday. Property was very clean, beautiful scenery, close to Moville Town and nearby beaches. Very quiet area and ideal for family with young children. Owners of property very helpful and great to deal with.
Cottage was spacious and comfortable with amazing views. The only things that would improve our experience would be more mirrors, extra bins and a few wee kitchen extras ( tea, coffee sugar etc). Otherwise I would definitely reccomend Knockalt cottage for a relaxing stay in a beautiful part of Donegal .
Ensuite was a bit dated
House was lovely , with exceptional view. Would highly recommend. Owners were on hand to help with anything.
Was just a wee bit far out of the village with a steep hill to climb.
Lovely host to deal with, quick responses. Outstanding location in the hills behind Moville, with spectacular views. Spacious grounds, easy parking and good boundary fence for our dogs. Nice country walks from the property, and only about 5 minute drive into the town (car a must). A relaxing experience all round.
We would have appreciated bath mats and more towel rail space.
Fabulous cottage, exceptionally clean, spacious, with beautiful views and not too far from the town. Lovely comfortable bed, cosy fire for cooler nights. Perfect space for the dogs to enjoy and for quiet walks.
Lovely location. Very peaceful. Cottage very spacious for us all (8 people in total). 2 great size living room/dining room. Everything inside was easily worked. Great to have a washing machine especially when weather wasn’t that great and plenty of muddy clothes. Very friendly cat liked to visit. Host was very contactable and answered promptly any questions we asked.
Unfortunately dining table was only suitable for 6 people. Maybe a couple of fold up chairs that can be used when 8 folk staying.
Stunning location, wonderful hosts, perfect for our family and dog. Large, secure garden for the dog to enjoy his holiday. You won’t want to watch TV, you’ll just want to stare at the loch and changing sky, especially at sunrise and sunset. Plenty of turf provided for the fire in the cooler evenings. Kitchen has everything you need and beds are very comfy. Small adjoining farm so you can say hi to the 3 or 4 sheep over the garden fence at the back. Hosts are very knowledgeable, friendly and available without being too intrusive. We had a perfect stay and will be back.
It didn’t bother us, but it’s a couple of miles walk into town. Petrol stations locally have great shopping on site due to the rural location. Great food and drink in Moville, and nearby beaches are stunning and safe for swimming. I can’t find anything to complain about at all!
We had the most wonderful few days here for St Patrick’s day. The kids loved being able to run around the spacious garden and the turf fire made the evenings super cosy!
The house was great. Basic but comfortable and had everything we needed.
Great location, beautiful cottage & lots of space.
Lovely peaceful location Good facilities, well heated Good hosts Close to the town
Wifi went off at about 12.30am when we were watching something. Had to ring the host the next morning to get more data put on. Was a bin in kitchen but no wee smaller bins placed within the cottage in bathroom, living room etc. Bed in the ensuite was quite uncomfortable could do with a new mattress. A bigger tv would make things better too. These are just a few things to improve but by no means is this a negative review. We both enjoyed our time at the cottage and would definitely come back.
House, area, people. Defintely go again in summer

The setting ,just gets better daily.the panorama changes daily ,with the light, the weather, but it never fails to make you feel in awe .looking from the property down into Moville you see this amazing spectacle of the ocean. On the last day ,there was not even an hint of wind/breeze, the ocean was like a Millpond, and it sparkled almost silver in appearance. , there are a few beaches close by ,for me I like to discover beaches and the ocean..The best of what I saw ,and it was a Blue flag Beach CULDAFF .It was a rainy day but just to prove the point that Culdaff was a bit special the dun came out in its full glory for less than 10mins and the place showed its true colours . Moville a small place, everything you need is there and within walking distance.Never seen so many pubs and pubs in such a small space, maybe 10 within 100m. Yeah great the place embraces you day by day ,you get it. You understand what a nice place it is.
Nothing to dislike.just be open, accept ,embrace, adapt ,be resourceful
Lovely warm house, great location, accommodating owners. Thanks for a great we weekend
Clean, comfortable and great location with wonderful views

The location is beautiful Wifi worked perfectly The place was spotlessly clean There is a supermarket 5 minutes away from the property The owner was very friendly and accommodating The beds are very comfortable Private parking Very warm with central heating and also the hosts provided us with some Donegal turf to light in the coal fire if we needed it
There was no children's high chair Grass was a little bit mossy and damp for the children to play in , it needed cut The little white dog did a poo on the grass too
Great location,lovely cozy house
Location absolutely beautiful
The house and location amazing
The location of the house and view from the house is so beautiful.
The view and surrounding area
Septic tank
Such an amazing location. Close to so many things, house was lovely and comfortable
We loved everything about this property. If we had to make a complaint it would be that the house could do with a tiny bit of work but it wouldn’t stop us from staying again. The house was absolutely spotless and the owners were lovely. We had the best stay
Beautiful cottage with modern amenities set in an lovely location

Location was good
Wi-Fi was issue as had work to do so needed that
The views across Lough Foyle are fabulous and really enjoyed being out in the country. Peace and quiet in this idyllic picturesque location.
It was a huge cottage in a very peaceful location.
Nothing, everything was perfect.
Excellent location, beautiful views. Quiet and relaxing. Comfortable beds. Plenty of space for large families. Would recommend.
Unfortunately there was a sewer smell in 2 of the bedrooms.
Beautiful house with a gorgeous view. Very comfortable and clean. Perfect surroundings.

The location and the views.
Can't think of anything. Except maybe the lonely sheep in the adjoining paddock.
The view and how lovely the host was to deal with!
Rooms were very bright for kids going to sleep!
The house is lovely very comfortable and the views are fantastic.
Lovely unobtrusive hosts, comfy property, great location, with easy 1 mile walk to town.
Nothing.
Everything :) the house, the area and just how quiet and relaxed it all was

The location of the property was perfect, as we wanted a few relaxing days over Easter to relax with family garden was perfect for young kids
The town itself doesn’t have awful lot going on was very dead but this could have been just over the Easter period.
Had a fantastic few days away in this lovely property. The views are stunning. The house had everything we needed. Lovely peat fire in the evening. Our dog Albert had plenty of space to run away the enclosed garden. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.
The property was clean and the view was lovely. It was pet friendly which is a must for us, the garden was very nice. Main bedroom was comfortable and ensuite bathroom had a great shower. Loved the two fireplaces. The host left us milk, bread and eggs which was a lovely touch.
The kitchen utensils need attention, especially the pan which was very damaged, coating completely scrapped off not very safe to cook food on it, it was the only one so we had to use it but I would say it needs replacing. The house was also very cold needed a lot of heating to be comfortable.
Great location. Fantastic view.
This is a perfect place for anyone looking for a relaxation from their busy schedules in the City. The view from the house is soothing and it was a memorable day for myself and my friends who came along for a great long weekend. Thank to Mary who took care of everything as required!
Location was great, cottage very cosy & pet friendly- lovely to have bread, eggs & milk left for us and turf for the fire, very welcoming host who called in on a very wet evening to explain heating and local walks- thank you!
The cottage was spacious and spotlessly clean. Plenty of room for our party of five (there are four bedrooms and two big reception rooms). Hosts were very kind and helpful, eg explaining how heating worked. They even provided a gift of groceries etc on our arrival, plus wood, firefighters and turf for the fire.
Nothing to report here.
This house is in an idyllic, peaceful location, overlooking Lough Foyle, about 25 minutes walk to Moville town centre and an ideal base from which to explore Inishowen. It was very clean and spacious for our extended family group, with a lovely garden which our dog, Toby also enjoyed. There was outdoor furniture where (weather permitting!) the views can be savoured from over food and/or drink. Our hosts provided milk, bread and eggs to welcome us, which was much appreciated as were the fresh towels midweek. Moville and the surrounding area has lots of good places to eat in or get a takeaway from. The area also has several blue flag beaches and stunning scenery along the Wild Atlantic Way.
The shower in the en-suite needed to have the boiler on first for hot water & the tank didn't seem to keep the water warm for very long. Luckily there was also an electric shower in the other bathroom.
Beautiful house, spacious and not just family friendly but autism friendly. Lovely secure garden and gate with so much space for kids to play. Beds were comfy and even board games to play indoors. Excellent stay, highly recommend.
Loved everything
The house was very clean and lots of space. Hosts very welcoming had fresh milk and bread bought in for us.
Everything in the house suited our family perfectly
•The view is simply breathtaking, stunning location, close to the local amenities. • Clean house, clean bedding. •Good Wi-Fi, and TV set up. •Although not as big as the pictures looks, the Garden is a decent size. •Sofa in the lounge is very comfy. •Unintrusive host, but quick to respond when we had issue with the toaster not working. •Thoughtful bread and milk waiting for us upon arrival.
•The cat. We have a child with allergies and there is a cat continuously trying to enter the property. If you’re a cat person this won’t bother you. We were going to bring our dog along, but I’m glad we didn’t. It would have been hell. The cat is relentless and not deterred by usual shoo tactics. We couldn’t have a window or door open. • Lack of kitchen ware, the tin opener is rusted and doesn’t work and there’s not one serving dish. • One of the mattresses we had to flip on arrival, as there were coils coming through. • En-suite bathroom is covered in mould. We kept the door shut and kept out of there. •Lack of cleaning products, No antibacterial spray or such. •The photos suggest fires are used, there wasn’t anything for a fire. In other places we’ve stayed, there’s been fire lighters etc ready for a little fire. •No outdoor fire pit or bbq. Just a table and chairs. • Battery is running out of the smoke alarm, relentless pipping, we had to take it out early hours of the morning. This is not the hosts fault, obviously cannot predict when power will run out.
Beautiful location, lots of ground around the house. Lots of room in the house, big rooms, hosts left us bread, milk and eggs which was a really lovely touch. Full size fridge and freezer, cooker, loads of crockery, pans etc. Would definitely stay again.
Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Really good size property for the 6 of us and the location was great too. Mary and Gerard were great, perfect hosts, left bread, milk and eggs which was great. They were right next door if we needed anything and responded to messages extremely quickly.
Couldn't fault this place at all
Stunning location, the view was fabulous, perfect for a peaceful getaway.
Bit hard to find the property for check-in but otherwise nothing to dislike
We went to Ireland to search for our family tree, Gerrard and Mary were fabulous hosts. The house catered for everything we needed and was home from home. It's a very short drive into the main town, which made it feel as though you are in the middle of nowhere with the calm and quietness yet still so near to lots of lovely nearby places. We loved every minute and can't wait to go back again soon.
The scenery is stunning, very peaceful. The cottage is very clean and is nice and bright and had everything you needed. I would recommend this place.
We had two small young dogs with us we couldn't let run free as there is a sheep with a lamp at the back, they were fenced but didn't stop the dogs going into the pen, needs to be more shut off.
Fabulous location well equipped cottage. Lovely hosts
Great location for beautiful views and quiet but also really close to the town
We struggled with mirror availability with 5 females in the group getting ready for a wedding
Views are amazing. House really comfortable & spotlessly clean. Huge shower in main bathroom. Peat provided for the open fires - was so cosy at nights. It was so peaceful. Was fantastic to be able to bring our wee dog.
The smell of oil from the heating boiler in the kitchen 🥺 I can't stand the smell of diesel & oil etc so I found the smell very overpowering - even with the window left open.
Great view, close to the little village for a shopping, and takeaway. Everything close Great location
properly was very spacious and was extremely close to Moville village. you were left with fresh bread, eggs and milk plus buckets of peat for the fire and fresh towels for the bathroom if you needed them…lush!
Lovely wee cottage, hoist was very pleasant on arrival and helpful with any enquiries.. Area was very peaceful, shops very local drive away, and allowed us to bring our dog which was a bonus for us, she even had a ball! Lovely weekend away, will definitely book again!😀😀
There's absolutely nothing I disliked about this cottage, everything was amazing!
Everything was good. Good host. A few minutes drive to Moville Town. Great for country escape. Very quiet, beautiful countryside scenery.
Everything was fine. Very good host. Just thought of a bed could have been a bit better (maybe because we use firm beds at home). That wouldn't stop me from going again. Plenty of furniture.
An amazing location to have some quality time, rest and drinking next to fireplace with all modern amenities to have the comfort.
There is nothing that you would not like, everything is there , even for your pets, friends or elderly.
