The cottage was large but very cold and the shower didn’t work very well. Keeping the fire supplied with wood would be a challenge for some people. The cooker ran out of gas and we had to change the bottles over, something not everyone would feel comfortable doing.

Reviewed Mar 24, 2026We stayed in the cottage and liked being on a secluded vineyard, away from the hustle and bustle of a tourist town, which was only a short 5 minutes away by car. We enjoyed the fully equiped cute little cottage all to ourselves for the same price as staying at a hotel. The hosts were fabulous and answered our questions quickly, but best of all, they provided a bottle of rosé wine from their vineyard, which was delicious. We enjoyed the tranquility of the birds singing in the morning and walking through the gardens and vineyard, which you would never experience if staying in town at a hotel. We highly recommend a stay at O Natural Vineyards.

Reviewed Mar 24, 2026Loved, loved this barn loft! So much space, so comfortable, stunning setting. Quiet serenity. Great restaurants nearby and you can't not have at least one fresh fruit ice cream just down the road. Rented bikes and went halfway to Clyde and back. A unique and beautiful ride.

Reviewed Mar 3, 2026The Loft Facility was just gorgeous. Everything was provided for and very comfortable. The location was well positioned amidst a garden facility with views of the hills. Very quite and peaceful. Many thanks for the complimentary bottle of wine, a good touch
we couldn't find anything wrong, although maybe a little herb garden would be nice so herbs fresh herbs could be picked by guests if cooking

The bed in need of an upgrade. The shower is great, but a second shower head would be icing on the cake. (Only a rain shower)

Reviewed Nov 12, 2025Little lap of luxury - well worth the spend. We were so tired at this point in our trip but this was the best place to just stay inside and relax at for 2 nights. We went to the local market and a few shops, visited a winery or two for lunch, and then just spent the rest of the day and evenings indoors here. The fireplace is a very effective heater, also the bathroom wasn't cold which was nice! We enjoyed reclining on the armchairs with the blankets, sipping our wine, listening to podcasts and chatting. I wish we had more energy to tour the vineyard, and explore the general area because it's very pretty and there's plenty of adventurous things to do nearby. But whatever kind of holiday you choose, it would make a very romantic getaway and I highly recommend this place.
I think guests from the other B&B may have used the washing machine (located in the garage downstairs), which made some slight noise, but this is literally the only con I can think of and it really wasn't a big deal, it would just be annoying if it was the middle of the night.

The verandah has a view of the mountains and lake and a beautiful garden with rabbits running around. The whole cottage has a lovely charm & you can easily cook dinner & laundry for washing.

Reviewed Jan 15, 2024Fabulous place to stay, especially for at least two nights +. I’d happily stay for a week! Very charming, private and romantic. Great kitchen facilities; buy goodies in town and cook up a storm! Amazing Eames chairs, super comfy for reading. Lovely bathroom. The bed is of a very good quality and quite firm, so if you prefer this then you will be happy.
The wifi didn’t work, though we tried with various devices. Not a big deal.

Free wifi was listed as an amenity, there was no wifi in the structure. The wifi available was from a router in the neighboring structure. Recommend a $50 wifi extender to allow for the Netflix on the TV to be used without constant buffering.

Reviewed Oct 27, 2023Lovely comfortable loft near Cromwell in the heart of the Otago wine country. The fire was wonderful to put on in the cold evenings and I loved the heated tiles in the bathroom. Carpets also very plush and lovely under foot. Coffee and wine appreciated! The gardens and vineyard where the loft is located are beautiful to wake up to. A new taxi service had started up when we arrived so were able to have a really great meal at the Stoker Room nearby and not worry about driving afterwards. We loved being away from touristy Queenstown and closer to the offerings of Cromwell and Clyde with the wineries nearby, close to access the Otago Rail Trail and also an easy drive to Wanaka.
Although having a rain shower head - we felt like it was hard to get good pressure and have a good soaking shower. But really a small thing.
