Wonderful River View - Sunset Deck Retreat

This holiday home was perfect for my three generation family. There were toys and a high chair for my baby as well as plenty of space for us to spread out and have our privacy. Everything we needed was there. I'm really glad we found such a wonderful home to stay in for a very special occasion.

Hard to think about what we didn't like. The only thing that comes to mind when i really stretch is that i would have preferred a downstairs bedroom for the grandparents, but that is a minor issue.

Very good for a family and reasonable price , good indoor outdoor flow and close to some good shopping areas.

The house is very beautiful and great view of the river. It has a nice patio to enjoy the outside and has privacy from the neighbors. Liked having its own driveway, garage, and washer/dryer.

Air conditioning is only on the first floor and with all of the bedrooms upstairs, it was VERY warm with only fans in the summertime. I thought property was in Hamilton but it is in Flagstaff which is about 15-20 minutes from downtown Hamilton.

The house is an absolute dream! It's got everything you need and really appreciate the little touches like the toys and games for little ones.

Minor point but the rooms on the second floor do not have air conditioning. This isn't a big deal as the rooms cool down by night time and there are fans provided as well.

Didn't get a lot of sleep the second night due the neighbours and their guests leaving all hours of the night and into the morning. However I have a feeling this was an Airbnb so likely to be a 1 off.

It was a beautiful, peaceful, and picturesque place to stay right next to the river. It was easy to get to places of interest, and the host was attentive and emailed back promptly. Highly recommended for families

Very spacious, very clean and a happy family vibe home. Loved the biblical quotes at frontdoor. As we were in Hamilton for a wedding, I had used the same scripture on Monday. When I walked in the frontdoor, that verse was on your draw. This home was meant to be. Loved the stream out back. Loved the tub. Loved everything about this beautiful home. Sharon was very helpful, she answered my question straight away. If im travelling to Hamilton again, ill use this humble abode. Thank you 💯❤️

This was our last stop and the home was lovely. You can see the river from the upstairs room. There was plenty of space. The outdoor area was really nice but because of wind we couldn’t use it much. The owners were accommodating when we needed to leave a little later due to a flight delay.

Everything. Perfect house, amazing communication from owners, the house is beautiful, even better than the photos and is in a lovely quiet spot. Book with confidence.

A very large home on the river, it has lovely views. The owner has provided absolutely everything that you could need. New, clean and well fitted out. It has a huge master suite with a beautiful view.

It is one of many the same in a new development. A cookie cutter house that felt kind of soul-less but that is just our opinion. It’s geographically close to the city but there is no car river crossing near by so a bit of a drive around. A lady (possibly next door neighbour, possibly the owner?) just let herself in to the backyard and walked around to the back while we were having a family dinner. It was quite odd. There were little signs everywhere about what to do and not do which made it feel less homey.

The whole house was beautiful. It was quiet and had beautiful views of the river. There were many little touches that were unexpected but much appreciated.

There wasn't anything to dislike

Location stunning, gorgeous design, view breathtaking, luxurious home, master bedroom with a view of the Waikato River. Comfortable lounge and French doors opening up lounge straight onto back deck and outdoor entertaining area.

Great house for a group of friends. Plenty of space and great to have parking for 4 vehicles. The 3rd toilet was an added bonus for a group of 7 people!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home exceeded our expectations and Sharon, the host, was amazing! The directions provided for accessing the home were excellent and came in a timely manner. The home was very spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed relaxing on the back deck as well as in the home. The location was perfect for the attractions we were visiting. We greatly appreciated Sharon's quick responses to any questions we had and the information provided in the home explaining how various things worked. We would definitely stay here again.

Super house & felt just like home

Big garage with a simple remote, which was great rather than using the door code. Beautiful, comfortable house! We weren't in much, just mornings and evenings as we were at a convention so we never used the kitchen other than for tea, but it is large and would be great for eating in. Very comfortable beds, and the rooms were quiet. We didn't hear each other getting up. I was happy to see screens on the windows, as it backs onto a beautiful river. Was a fantastic place to stay! The owner was very communicative and lovely. Thank you!

A beautiful and very comfortable home. We loved our stay. I would recommend staying here if you have a car.

Everything other than property was excellent.

The view in the backyard and from the house is wonderful. House itself and particularly the kitchen was clean, as was the cutlery, kitchen utensils. Spacious and lots of room. Plenty of toilets.

No Air conditioning upstairs. Visiting in summer made the second story of the house noticeably quite stuffy and unpleasant to sleep in, as the bedrooms are all upstairs. Understand that fans were supplied but doesn't cool down the upper level effectively enough. Number of instructions (some with warnings of fines) is a little excessive and makes the experience less relaxing.

The house was amazing and wonderful for our family stay. The host was extremely helpful in organising a cot,high chair and games and toys for the children. Bedrooms were great size and beds very comfortable

Lack of mirrors next to power points. need some in each bedroom when the bathrooms are in use.

- Needs bar stools we were a group of 8 so not enough seating for all of us - If we book for 2 nights please provide the towels, e.g 2 towels per person one for each night - I did email a question re BBQ available, did not receive an answer but it's okay the rain came and stayed

Everything! The house is very well set up and equipped. Shopping Mall s (2) and grocery stores are just 5 minutes away.

The house is brand new, light and airy and exceptionally well furnished and kitted out. The host left useful instructions and post-it notes everywhere. The keyless entry was fantastic. The house did indeed have a great view of the Waikato River from the lounge and main bedroom. The bedrooms were all a good size with very comfy beds and tasteful decor. Overall, a very comfortable place to stay with a welcoming vibe from the host.

This will be temporary, but we hadn't realised there was construction work happening on both sides of the house and having work commence at 7.30 am and not finish until dark made it less relaxing at the start and finish of our days. The location was a little tricky to find in the dark even with the detailed instructions. A minor thing, but a motion-sensor light above the front door would be handy for guests arriving after dark.

We supplied our own breakast in a kitchen that had every amenity, the location was fine, beds extremely comfortable, laundry fantastic. What more could I say, best stay in 40 years of traveling.

would be good to have pegs for the laundry, also good to have fly screens as a lot of bugs/moths fly into the house at night so we need to close all the windows or turn off the lights :-(

Was disappointed as reason for booking this property claimed it had 3 bathrooms. as we are 3 couples which would mean each couple has there own wash facilities. wrong. only 1 en suite in master and 1 main bathroom/shower. which means 4 adults to share Wash facilities. this property has 3 WC(toilets ) not 3 bathrooms ,wording should be changed on booking.com Small detail ,need more mirrors and rails to hang towels in WC (toilets)

Love the indoor/outdoor flow as we had family members come and visit and also the last minute booking, we loved it soo much we booked again last minute and it was a breeze, thank you Sharon x all the best from Hine & whanau 💕
