Absolutely brilliant accommodation with off-street parking in a great location.

Wasn't an issue for me but the stairs are a little steep.

The cottage was very cosy and had everything we needed. The kids loved the space to run around and the fire pit to roast marshmallows. We will definitely be staying again.

Casa estremamente graziosa, curata in ogni dettaglio, davvero confortevole, una piccola perla a carattere tipicamente irlandese, gestori splendidi, molto gentile e sempre presenti per ogni necessità. Abbiamo trovato in casa ogni cosa immaginabile, parcheggio ottimo, un bellissimo giardino. viste le scale ripide ci è stato offerto di installare un cancelletto per sicurezza di nostro figlio, ottimo! Si vede che l'alloggio ha un vero valore affettivo per i proprietari.

La doccia senza box, solo con la tenda allaga tutto il bagno. Bagno esclusivamente al piano terra, alcune camere sono sopra con scala ripida, poco pratico di notte ma nulla di tragico.

Ideal location and lovely hosts! Elaine and Brian were very welcoming and helpful. 😊 The cottage is really well kept and the beds were really comfy too. Great space outdoors for my dog to run around. 🐶

Som things, but not much, the coffee machine did it’s job, the fridge was adequate but no freezer so no ice

There is only one shower with very little pressure,for 4 adults, the beds are uncomfortable, the next door Neibor was up until almost 2 both days in the morning making lots of noise when we sat outdoors in the back the septic tank vent smells so bad you can’t sit for long, the dish washer smelled so bad we had to run a few sickles to clean it! The stairs to the second floor are not for the elderly. And there were no signage to tell us where the cottage is, last the cottage is so damp, the floors, the bedding desperately needs a Dehumidifier.

The grounds are beautiful, lots of space for children to play they even had a goal post and footballs available. Inside they had board games and Disney available on TV. The Cottage was also alot bigger than expected.

The cottage was so warm, inviting and had a wonderful feel about it. I felt at home and had everything and more that I could have wished for. It’s in a lovely quiet location which is ideal if that’s what you like. Shower was lovely and hot, bed was very comfortable and loved the peace and privacy.

I loved everything. I was travelling solo so didn’t make use of the fabulous garden space but that’s a big positive about the property in my opinion.

We loved our stay in this cozy cottage. It was just what we needed to wind down and start our trip. The owner provided some wonderful suggestions of places to visit that are not the usual tourist attractions. Loved the history provided.

Beautiful rural location. Cottage was cosy and well equipped with a beautiful garden. Brian was a wonderful host, most welcoming. Although there was an issue with the heating he went above and beyond to ensure that the cottage was warm for when we returned from our day out. (Wood burner had been lit for a while and gas heater was also on so all toasty!) couldn’t have asked for more. His communication was fantastic. A wonderful host!

Wir hatten das Vergnügen in dieser tollen Unterkunft zu übernachten. Alles war sauber und gemütlich, ein tolles Ambiente. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Wir durften auch die netten Eigentümer kennenlernen. Es war ein angenehmer Austausch. Kurz: wir können diese Unterkunft weiterempfehlen :o)

Piccolo cottage molto accogliente e confortevole. C'è stato un inconveniente con il riscaldamento ma i proprietari si sono prestati in tutti modi per farci trovare sempre la stufa di ghisa pulita ed accesa.

Credo che la tenda della doccia sia troppo corta e questo comporta un allagamento del bagno ogni volta.

Everything was made very, very clear; keys had been left out in an easy-to-reach place, the cottage was warm and welcoming, with everything and more at hand. I could not have asked for more. extremely comfortable and really a home from home.

Es ist ein wunderbarer Ort. Man kann dort sehr gut entspannen und das Haus ist so liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend wenn man eine Frage hatte haben sie sofort geantwortet/geholfen. Wir waren schon 2mal dort und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

The cottage is cozy and quiet and Brian is a very thoughtful, kind host. Modern convenience wrapped in traditional charm where I enjoyed solitude and birdsong in the day and gazed at the stars at night. Just imagine chatting ameably around the adorable outdoor firepit (as the weather allows). The woodstove inside is delightful, too! You really only need to pack your clothes and a toothbrush, grab some groceries along the way and you're all set. The most relaxed and refreshing stay I've experienced in a long time.

The cottage is beautiful. It has all the amenities. It's warm, clean and really comfy. There's a fabulous big garden with a great fire pit for a few night time beers under the stars. Brian is an outstanding host, really accommodating and cares about you having a great stay. Big thumbs up x

The cottage was lovely and very comfortable. Brian and Elaine are great hosts !! They provided an extensive guidebook that takes you through the cottage, the area and different options for food, drink, entertainment, attractions, etc. And they live next door, so responses to any questions were immediate. The location, although off the beaten path, is located in the middle of some historic areas, from the Irish Civil War back to Neolithic times. Brian provided a tour of these areas and is very knowledgeable about many topics... I had a blast touring with him !! This is one of our favorite stays in our 3 weeks in Ireland. We highly recommend this location, particularly for those willing to adventure !!

Nothing that they can control, as the cottage is 101 years old, but two of the three bedrooms are up steep, narrow steps. But they do provide support for families so those steps are safe... They are wonderfully organized and supportive !!

Unser kleines Cottage war sehr liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet, mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. In diesem Cottage fühlt man sich den Feen und Kobalden Irlands näher, weil es sehr viel Charme und Romantik ausstrahlt.

The cottage was comfortable, very clean, good facilities, excellent shower and cozy beds! Brian communicated well and offered lots of tips for our trip.

The cottage is very rural. While we knew that we did not take into account the narrow roads and commute times to various destinations. Good location for local attractions around Limerick and Cashel.

A private cottage, lovely house. It has a beautiful garden. We were lucky and able to sit outside. The garden gives you the feeling of space around you, we love that! The kitchen is the most sunny spot in the house and perfect to wake up with a cup of tea or coffee. Everything you need is in the house, so don't worry if you have forgotten something. Not everything is new, but this makes the house a home. Wifi is perfect here. There are three bedrooms, we chose the one which felt best to us. We had lovely contact with Brian and Elaine, they gave lots of information about how to get there. But it was easy to find, as Waze did this job perfectly. Thank you for all the good care.

Het huis heeft een mooie, grote tuin. We hebben genoten van de vuurplaats. Het contact met de eigenaar verliep via WhatsApp, hij was erg vriendelijk. Er is veel aanwezig in de keuken (koffie+thee, airfryer, magnetron, noem maar op).

We vonden de cottage te klein voor 4 personen. De woonkamer is krap. Er is geen wasmachine en vriezer in het huis. Bijna geen ruimte om je spullen neer te zetten. Ook vonden we de tweepersoonsbedden beiden smal.

Cottage bellissimo, accogliente, con arredamento particolare e curato nei dettagli. Bellissimo giardino attrezzato. Abbiamo avuto tutte le indicazioni necessarie molto prima di arrivare, proprietari disponibili e gentili in ogni momento. Anche se non gli abbiamo mai incontrati, hanno sempre risposto prontamente alle nostre richieste.

The cottage is perfect for a stay in the South west of Ireland. It has everything you may need, it is clean and the host is very kind. The cottage is exactly as in the photos, highly recommended for a family trip. The position is 30mins/1h far from the main attractions; however, being in the middle represents a perfect choice for a stable starting point.

A cosy cottage with a family feel; great outdoor garden space with activities ( football, fireplace, bird watching). Good internet connection & plenty of TV channels incl. DisneyPlus). Coffee machine, Comfortable beds with electrical blankets on offer (not that it was needed as it was warm enough but it definitely was a hit for my child to go to bed on time!). It was well equipped and we had everything we needed and more! The owner was friendly, helpful and communicated promptly. We used the cottage for 2 nights stay on our road trip & cycling holidays.

The hosts were very helpful and welcoming. The kitchen had a nice feel and was well equipped. The upstairs bedrooms were warm and comfortable.

The porch area and behind the sofas had black mould on the walls and it shouldn't be rented out in that condition. The stairs were very steep so my mother (in her eighties) had to sleep in the downstairs bedroom which was accessed through the mouldy porch and was damp. Electric blankets were provided which helped.

Katie’s Cottage is a very cozy and comfortable house in the countryside, equipped with everything you need for a few days’ holiday. You’ll find a kitchen with a good gas stove and all you need for real cooking. On a colder day, the solid fuel (wood) stove in the living room gives some very pleasant additional warmth. Brian is a very kind and helpful host, and he has prepared some bits and pieces of information that are not only really helpful to understand where you are and what to do, but are really personal in character. We liked to follow some of this advice, felt quite at home and would have liked to stay for some more days …

The setting is in the country. Which is nice and quiet. It has WiFi and a neat fire pit. Very small but it worked well for what we needed. It’s about 40 minutes into Limerick. Plenty of blankets to use. The owners were very kind and had very good communication. They also provided a lot of history of the area in advance.

The couch in the sitting room was a little uncomfortable but it was ok overall. Blankets were needed as the heat needs to be adjusted by the owner who lives next door. I understand why, but my wife gets very cold. We were given the option of using the wood furnace, which doesn’t provide much warmth. We purchased addition wood for the furnace as the wood they provided was used the first night. They were very kind to let us use their freezer as there is not one available in the house.

One of the kindest, warmest and the sweetest hosts I've come across. This was my very first solo trip and I felt right at home. The most special part about the stay was not only its beautiful location but the house itself. You can feel the love and care that has gone in it as soon as you enter. Each room had beautiful artwork by Elaine. The house literally had everything I could think of! There are three bedrooms and each had it's distinct character! The garden is massive and absolutely breathtaking. My host Brian and Elaine were extremely gracious and even invited me to their home! I also got to meet their very cute little dogs. Inspite of a family emergency and not being well himself, Brian picked me up from the Limerick junction! He even gave me a very informative tour of Limerick and told me really interesting local stories. I wouldn't have been able to know Limerick like I do without Brian! It was home away from home and I'd always cherish it.

We experienced sub zero temperatures outside but only extreme warmth from our hosts. A lovely family who actually live in the house next door. The heating was left on longer and firewood was supplied to keep us warm. It was a cold week, we were so glad we were looked after. This is a spacious family property with a very big outdoor space. Ideal for a young family. I totally recommend this property in the tranquille irish countryside.

Cold, snow, worst Irish weather in 10 years! Nobody is to blame and we chose to visit in January. This place is great!

Amazing cottage that's very well kitted out. The downstairs bed was extremely comfortable, and the TV allowed me to use Netflix and YouTube. Kitchen has everything you'd need, and the back garden is massive. Owners couldn't have been more accommodating. Have bookmarked and will definitely stay again.

Ideal location if you want somewhere quiet, but with plenty to do in the surrounding region. The owner has a folder with local sights listed in it along with the history of the house which is worth taking the time to read. We climbed Knockfierna which has a fantastic view on a clear day. Nico's Takeaway in nearby Hospital has a very generous portion of chips. If you like to run, Mungret Parkrun in Limerick is just over 30 mins away by car and it is beside the Milk Thistle Kitchen Cafe for a tasty post run breakfast. Check out Bella Italia in Limerick City if you like Italian Food.

Location was so nice and quiet but still easy to get around! Garden was beautiful to sit in first thing in the morning with a cuppa. House was perfect for what we needed and amazing value for money! It was just perfect for us 3 girls and the dogs. Beautiful quaint Irish cottage that was so charming with the most glorious gardens. The hosts Brian and his wife were on hand if needed but didn’t interfere at all and just let us get on with things … only in the next property if we wanted anything or responded to messages promptly. Couldn’t fault anything about the cottage, its location and just the overall experience was perfect - and if they’ll have us….. we’ll happily be back 🥰

Nothing really … hot water from taps would have been nice but the shower was great and to boil the kettle was no hardship …. It all added to the overall charm. It does have a small set of very steep stairs to the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms and not ideal for anyone who is unsteady on their feet or young children but does have a huge downstairs bedroom that would accommodate them. It is highlighted is the booking details so wasn’t a surprise to us .. these are just very minor details and certainly didn’t detract from our stay …. We loved it 🥰
