Spotlessly clean. Great location for us and not too far for Dublin port

A very spacious, comfortable house with everything you need, located in a very quiet and typically Irish area. The host gave us some useful information about what we could visit in the area, and access to the property was extremely easy.

Claire a wonderful host, giving us information on the area, made sure we had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, 2 minute walk to Hollywood Inn and Tutty's bar. Hollywood cafe make great pizzas on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Ein schön eingerichtetes Haus mit allem was man braucht. Lediglich die Küche war nicht perfekt ausgestattet, aber das ist nur eine Nuance. Die Bilder entsprechen der Realität, für uns war es sogar etwas besser und geräumiger als erwartet. Wir hatten ein paar tolle Tage!

La anfitriona Claire súper amable, nos dio recomendaciones muy acertadas de las cosas que queríamos hacer y visitar. La casita está dentro de la propiedad de los dueños y tienen dos perritos que nos enamoraron. El pueblo es encantador, cuidan al máximo los detalles. Tiene dos pubs y una cafetería, que recomiendo para ir a comer y tomar algo. La casa es muy cómoda y tranquila y puedes aparcar el coche dentro de la propiedad. Un sitio ideal para descansar y hacer visitas turíticas por los alrededores sin coger mucho el coche.

Lovely comfortable accommodation in a quiet location. Everything we needed was provided. Safe and secure parking. Host Claire was very welcoming and helpful,as was her husband who gave us tips on local beauty spots to visit and restaurants to dine in. Great base for exploring the area. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the pub next door and also enjoyed the food in the Holywood Cafe. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer.

La dueña muy amable y simpática. La casita es preciosa y estaba todo bastante limpio y nuevo , el sitio muy bueno para visitar todo Irlanda,Dublín a 50 minutos ,Glendalow a 25 minutosg.😊

Los tragaluces del tejado ,entra demasiada luz para dormir. Los utensilios de cocina un coco escasos para 4 personas ,echamos en falta ,una ensaladera ,otra sartén y una cazuela más grande

Lovely quiet wee village with a great cafe and a pub. Accommodation was perfect for our family of 4. We used it as a base to travel in and out of the kaleidoscope festival for the weekend.

Es gab einen sehr guten Kontakt zu den Vermietern vorher und während des Aufenthaltes. Es war alles vorhanden für unsere Bedürfnisse. Im Kühlschrank warteten Orangensaft und Eier auf uns. Ein geschlossener Innenhof zum sicheren Parkplatz ist vorhanden.

Wir sind es nicht gewohnt unter einer großen Bettdecke zu schlafen, dass war für uns etwas nervig. Sonst war alles wunderbar!

Alles war super, wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Die perfekte Unterkunft, um Tagesausflüge in den Nationalpark und die Umgebung zu starten. Den Abend kann man sehr gut in den naheliegenden Pubs ausklingen lassen und ein Frühstück im Hollywood Cafe ist empfehlenswert. Claire war eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin – vielen Dank! :)

Hollywood House No 2 is well appointed with everything that we needed. The two beds were really comfortable. It is very well located for sightseeing. The host Clare is very friendly and helpful, with good suggestions of where to visit locally. Free secure parking. Excellent pub next door to the cottage.

We loved our stay in Holywood House No 2- it was extremely clean and comfortable, had everything we needed, and was located close to lovely places to eat! Couldn't recommend staying here enough!

It is very conveniently located to many attractions in the Wicklow and Kildare areas. The host is very kind and attentive. The secure parking is a bonus. We highly recommend this house for families.

L’accueil et la disponibilité de Claire. L’emplacement près des sentiers de randonnées et pas si loin de Dublin. La propreté des lieux et le fait qu'on s'en sente comme à la maison.

Rien, sauf peut être qu'il faut forcément avoir une voiture pour pouvoir se déplacer autour.

Die Lage war gut und ruhig, Gleich nebendran gab es ein Pub und 100 Meter ein Café. Die Ausstattung im Haus war gut. Die Betten waren bequem. Claire hatte ein Liter Milch, Orangensaft und Schinken in den Kühlschrank getan. Der Schlüssel war an der Haustüre als wir ankamen. Es brauchte ein Code für das Tor das sie mir im Voraus zugesendet hatte. Würde diese Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

Gute Lage zum Wandern in den Wicklow Mountains. Ruhige Unterkunft. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Sehr schöne und saubere Doppelhaushälfte. Parkplätze vor dem Haus. Eingezäuntes Grundstück.

Alles war bestens.

Comfortabel net huisje en gastvrije, behulpzame eigenaren. Wasmachine en vaatwasser aanwezig. Slaapkamer boven en aparte slaapkamer beneden. Ligging prima t.o.v. bezienswaardigheden, prachtige omgeving!

De slaapkamer boven was warm en de bedden waren redelijk hard.

Electric gates with pin code meant our motorcycles were safely parked up each night. House itself was beautiful, clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Great pub next door for food and drink. Cafe served fresh pizzas every Friday/Saturday evening. Did breakfasts as well. Perfect base for exploring Wicklow mountains.

Liked location , cleanliness, facilities, host was friendly and helpful, check in was easy , loved the dogs and the all the wildlife around .

Beautiful little vacation home on a private, gated property in the picturesque and quaint town of Hollywood. Excellent cleanliness level, has everything you need and is spacious. Short walk to the Hollywood Café with excellent food and right across the street from Tully’s pub where you can have an excellent pint. Fully recommend.

The owner was a nice friendly woman who certainly made you feel welcome. The property is easy to find in a well sign posted village. There are security gates to the property- key code provided before your arrival. The keys are left in the property door for you. The owners live near and are available if there are problems- there were no problems. The area is quiet, in a rural village with shop (Petrol station) and pub in easy distance and with great views. The property is well stocked & self catering with cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. There is plenty of room, Bathroom great and shower easy to use. Bedrooms spacious and beds comfortable. Cable TV. Highly recommended.

Holywood House has got all you need for a lovely and memorable stay. Here you are in original Holywood and a scenery of some movies we were told.

There is secure parking and the cottage had two very spacious double bedrooms. We chose the upstairs balcony bedroom, which had a very comfortable bed. The TV had sky, which was useful on a rainy afternoon. The cottage was recently recently converted/refurbished, so was well insulated and very warm. The pub next door provided excellent food, and of course, Guinness.

The house was clean, had all necessary amenities and is in a fantastic location. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and even provided a Christmas tree for our Christmas stay.

For us the location was key. We had researched the local cafe Hollywood Cafe & the local Pub / Restaurant & both of these were highly recommend. Also both within walking distance of property. The village although very small was busy due to popularity of local cafe & restaurant. Despite how busy it was it was still a very quiet location. If you're a hiker then this would also be a good base. For us we wanted to be close to Dublin but not too close (approx 45 mins by car). For the west coast & south west areas of Ireland you would be looking at a max of 3 hours driving depending on where you wished to visit. Accommodation consisted of 2 floors & could sleep 4, Kitchen basic but enough for what we needed. The host readily available if needed as they lived in a property on same site. Plenty of storage for clothes / kit etc. For most days were out visiting / touring. Would happily recommend this cottage to family & friends. Will probably return for another stay.

Wifi (probably being picky) not great as Sky Streaming box kept dropping connection - suspect this maybe the Sky box side as personal experience with Sky kit they are not the best when keeping a Wifi connection. Sofa was a little uncomfortable after be sat on for a hour - work around for that was to use the spare cushions as padding ;)

Ideal accommodation for a weeks stay in Ireland - perfect location, very clean and comfortable (with all the facilities required) and located very close to two lovely pubs and a fantastic cafe! Claire was very welcoming and also helpful with advice on things to do in the local area. If you are looking for a place to stay, close to the Wicklow mountains, then this is the place, look no further!

Perfect location under an hour from the airport.

Everything was brilliant including the location which is right on the edge of the mountains and at one end of the Wicklow gap. Plenty of close by walks and 2 friendly pubs / restaurant next door. Gated entry into the property made it feel very secure. Very friendly owners.

Nothing to dislike at all. I really find it hard to pick any faults whatsoever.

THE EXPERIENCE OF THE VISIT WAS MADE SO EASY BY CLAIRE, A VERY WELCOMING HOST OF THIS EXCELLENT PROPERTY. WE WILL BE BACK FOR SURE. A REAL HOME FROM HOME.

The accommodation is perfectly located in a small village with 2 pubs and a cafe within a very short walking distance. It was very clean and comfortable with all the facilities required for a week’s stay. Claire was very nice and helpful. Blinds in the velux windows would be a great addition as it is very light early in the morning on a sunny day.

Great location for touring Wicklow and surrounding areas and close to Dublin as well. Clare and her family were very informative and helpful. Definetly one of the best places to stay in Ireland.

We loved this holiday home in Hollywood, County Wicklow. It was extremely clean and modern with great facilities and comfy beds. Our host was great, accommodating our arrival/departure with ease. As we were visiting family in Dublin, this was ideally located for accessing the M50 while not actually being in Dublin itself. The surrounding area is lovely and peaceful and Blessington Lakes are just a short drive away, as is the town of Blessington itself. Next time we visit Ireland, we'll definitely try and book this accommodation.
