Reviewed Jun 22, 2025beautiful hse with all amenities you could ask for Mary the host was very welcoming and helpful had home baked wheaten bread jam and butter on arrival with milk in the fridge lovely touch rooms were spacious and the beds were 1st class and very comfortable good quality bedding
location although probably suitable for others we found a little bit out of the way a lot of traffic noise well into the early hours but having said that it was the time of "the donegal rally" so maybe thats why ?? it wouldn't stop us from going back though

Reviewed Nov 15, 2024Greeted by Mary on arrival who welcomed us and provided us with a lot of very helpful information regarding the property and the surroundings. A very warm and pleasant lady. The house was first class in every respect. Also, just a short walk from the village centre, 5 minutes. A very short drive to a magnificent beach and well placed for touring all Donegal's main attractions. I could not fault this property in any way. Central yet private with ample parking for numerous cars. Would not hesitate to stay there again. Highly recommended.

The open fire was ready to go, and she supplied all the essentials required for our stay. First class. Suaimhneas is in an excellent location with numerous places of interest, only a short drive away. Three well equipped bathrooms.

The living areas were cozy, added bonus of netflix and the kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals during our stay. The house had a warm and inviting ambiance, making us feel right at home. The bed were so comfortable best night sleep,so cozy. This home has plenty of space with ensuite for each bedroom and downstairs WC.Great for families. Overall Experience: Our experience at the holiday house was positive. The serene location, comfortable accommodation, and lots of space made our stay truly enjoyable and memorable. We would recommend this holiday house to anyone looking for a family getaway.
Nothing that we didn't like.However personal choice would be another chair/armchair bigger sofa as only sitting for four in living room.For us watching family movie not enough sitting.

We used it as a base to explore further afield.. .Bunbeg ,Mt Errigal.,Dunfanaghy ,Glenveigh National Park and Marble Hill beach . Mary the owner was lovely very helpful. Bread milk and homemade jam left for our arrival...delicious.
