The house is showing signs wear and tear, showers and taps need some work. Cleaning was not great, maybe because we asked for early access

The property the house was located on was beautiful lovely for walk , we could assess hotel facilities , house itself was very spacious and clean

Nothing. All good. Only comment maybe for others with a larger toddler is the cot is a small travel cot rather than one of the bigger ones.

Faithlegg House Hotel Holiday Cottage is a gorgeous spot for a break away. The house is very well equipped and location is great for exploring the Waterford Greenway and local area. David as a host was really helpful and couldn’t have done enough to make sure our stay was perfect.

Location and access to hotel facilities. That is it.

Prepaid for house before stay. Received contact from host 3 days before stay to say they might not be able to honor stay as they had not been paid by booking.com for previous stays. This immediately raised suspicions so contacted booking.com. They replied saying that host said works were ongoing but stay would be honored and confirmed booking. Host contacted us directly with another story saying previous people staying there had a party and wrecked house but it would be ready for stay. So we now had 3 different stories about house, all adding to our previous suspicions. This house has a rodent issue. There were rentokil boxes and rodent plug in sound amplifiers within house. Witnessed live rodents in kitchen while staying there along with rodent droppings on counter tops and floors in kitchen and living room area, which is completely unacceptable. Left property extremely disapointed. Lots of other issues in property, for example, shower downstairs does not work, microwave doesnt work, mould in upstairs ensuite toilet , toilet seat failing off in upstairs ensuite toilet. I would avoid staying in this property!

Perfect location

The place was good and suited our needs in every way

It became clear that the house was nothing to do with the hotel. The hotel staff said it was not connected to the hotel at all and wouldn’t let us hire the bikes.

The house could do with some money spending on it. Cracked kitchen worktop, washing machine full of water when I opened the door, hot water had been turned off when we arrived so only worked it out the next day, the shower had hairs in it. In general the level of cleanliness was not good. The bathroom radiator hadn’t been cleaned and was very dusty.

Property was perfect for us. Location was great. Beds very comfortable & all the equipment needed for a family of 6.

It was a good size and had the amenities. The heating worked well and much needed in December

The shower downstairs didn’t work for us - all hot water only which is the opposite of what is nornally and no hot water only.

Great option for our family for a few days. Spacious, light and comfortable. Great communication from helpful host.

Closer to other properties than I realised but maybe I hadn’t read up enough on it. Heating and hot water system weren’t that easy to use (heating kept coming on when we didn’t need it).

The house needs to be freshened up and updated

The property was spacious and comfortable. Excellent Wi-Fi and appliances. The house was warm on arrival and stayed cosy and warm throughout. House was spotless on arrival and some additional treats left for our children were a welcome treat. David was helpful and informative at all times.

Nothing major to complain about. You park right outside the house, we were slightly confused on arrival if we had a designated spot. David soon answered our query v text. Very minor. Unrelated to the property,the pool in Faithlegg is average (small) and showers and changing rooms aren’t great. But in no way a reflection on the property. Staff in Faithlegg are excellent.

Super practical and really spacious for a family trip including two under two and elderly family members. Would highly recommend to anyone travelling with a family but would also be a really great base for a group stay.

Stayed at property for 3 nights to attend Family wedding in Faithlegg Hotel. The house is ideally situated on the grounds of hotel .. within walking distance( if not in heels 😀) Spacious house with open plan living area which suited for family gathering (of 7 adults). House well kitted out with all necessary appliances and comfortable seating/ TV area. 4 good sized bedrooms (2 en-suite) with storage space. Fresh towels and water provided in each bedroom along with a welcome pack of milk, tea etc. Easy access to property via lockbox and information packs provided ahead of stay by owner.

Main bathroom and downstairs toilet/shower room had no locks on doors! Not ideal when all adults staying in property. Several mugs and glasses in kitchen were dirty in presses which had to be run through dishwasher before use. Handle on integrated dishwasher falling off .. needs attention. Fence at side of property fallen down which doesn’t give much kerb appeal. A little updating required in decor in some of the rooms due to wear and tear.

The house had everything.It was clean, tidy and well presented. Great location - we did the Waterford Greenway and went to Dunmore East.Tramore is also not too far away. Perfect for families.

Great location, there was loads of space and room for our family, with 4 decent sized bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, very quiet and the house was fully kitted with everything we needed for our stay. Very clean and comfortable. Thank you David.

The location is excellent. The house has everything you will need. It's our second year staying here and we had a great time. Also the area is lovely and quiet , will probably be back next year. It's a great find in the sunny south east 🌞

The property was very spacious and very well equipped. It was spotlessly clean on arrival. Great to have all the facilities of Faithlegg at our doorstep with the space and privacy of a rental property. Very helpful and accommodating host.

The stairs are quite steep and tricky for elderly guests but lovely ground floor en suite bedroom helped greatly.

Lovely stay with family. House is very well setup for self catering. Clean and cosy. Hotel and golf club adjacent for food/drinks/leisure. Well connected WIFI etc. Wonderful beds!

superb location and beautifully clean

The house was extremely well equipped, it had everything you needed in the kitchen. Also had washing machine, dryer, and iron. The house had WiFi and there was Netflix on the TV. We only stayed for 3 nights but it would be perfect for longer holidays. Garden was also very nice with bbq if we wanted to use it. There was also a high chair and travel cot. Location was very good for exploring Waterford, no more than 20 minute drive to Tramore, Dunmore East or Waterford city.

There was nothing I didn't like about the house, however I would only recommend staying if you had a car as there was no town or shop within walking distance. But saying that it's on the grounds of faithlegg hotel which we did use for dinner and drinks.

David was extremely helpful and was always available when contacted. the location of the house is fantastic very central to everything. We had the use of the pool in the hotel which was amazing and such a bonus for the kids. all the facilities in the house was working and so convenient to have like washing machine, dryer etc. The house was well stocked with all you could need and more like dishwasher tablets even washing tablets. All the utensils were spotless, there was even a sandwich maker. Smart TV with netflix etc, wifi for the kids etc. Fantastic house, would most definitely return :)

only complaint would be that the bedrooms were a little on the small side
