Location was good and grounds looked lovely.

Jacuzzi not working. Staff cannot pour pints properly. Rushed to order and eat breakfast. Overpriced.

Too many walking restrictions caused by golfers

Everything about this hotel was spot on - from the attentive staff, the overall cleanliness of the hotel in general and the tranquil surroundings. The food was amazing and the breakfast is truly out of this world. Thoroughly recommend a visit. The spa, pool and gym facilities were wonderful as were the treatments offered.

Easy to find - a great location five miles from Waterford in beautiful countryside. A grand house extensively & tastefully modernised - clean & warm. The reception received was very welcoming & all the staff were extremely helpful. A particular mention to the mature lady & gentleman who served me at breakfast - they could not have been nicer. And one other lady on reception helped me with my bike tour. Large room with a very comfortable bed, a good television. Soundproofing excellent. Very nice teas & chocolates. Great view over the garden at breakfast. Bathroom good with nice products. Very wide choice for breakfast - very generous & very well cooked. Excellent secure parking. A nice pool (swim hat compulsory). Good value stay.

The phone in my room did not work. I rang six times on my mobile - never got an answer or callback.

Fantastic room, lively bar and great staff. We enjoyed the golf course and played several times. Great spa facilities.

Gym equipment slightly out of date but ever else was fantastic

Staff were perfect. We felt really looked after.

We as a family would prefer a Buffett breakfast and not to be forced to book a time to have breakfast. They had a wedding on Friday night, when people opened the door at the hall we got the noisy in the room.

Everything,.we felt like a king and a queen in the new Geneva suite

I love the fact the staff were so kind. We got a lovely room as it was a birthday celebration for myself. A lovely birthday card and chocolates were in the room for me. A lovely thought thank you

I liked that everything was served at the table. I hate queuing for breakfast!

Only drawback is the small bar area. The other 2 bars on either side are mainly used for evening dining so it was difficult to find a seat for a casual drink. Little cocktail bar filled up quickly. A residents lounge would be good

I liked the location. I also liked the provision of umbrellas at the door. The comfort and decor of the room was very good.

The changing room in the swimming pool could be bigger.

Bar wasn’t stocked well . Moretti was out both evenings . Glass of prosecco was quarter bottle which is unusual for a busy hotel and the cocktails not good .

Faithlegg was lovely. The room was compact but comfortable. We slept very well as hotel is very quiet.Felt very relaxed there .

The hotel definitely lacks outside space for drinks.It has an area at the front of hotel but in the shade hardly any sun and no atmosphere.

Everything was perfect but there was no atmosphere in the bar area or the cocktail bar. Staff in both were brilliant but the place was dead

A pleasant quite grand hotel with helpful polite staff, gorgeous grounds and excellent breakfast. I felt very comfortable in the hotel and will return again. A perfect place for a break, excellent spa also.

I have only one comment, the ventilation in the twin bedroom could have been better. There is only 1 window to open and as it has been a very warm summer it was a little stuffy over night.

It was immaculate!!! It was so peaceful, beautiful and quiet! The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us! We will certainly be back, enjoyed every minute of our stay!

The dessert menu in restaurant. Very little variety, trying too hard to be experimental. We got the ice-cream ( all 3 balls tasted the same) and the fig dessert (not good at all and not sweet). It was a big let down as the main course was beautiful. I wouldn't stay here in warm weather as there is no aircon. We noticed this when we stayed here in 2021 and its crazy that there still isnt any. Even cheaper hotels like a Clayton has it.

Staff couldn’t do enough for us the whole weekend. Really enjoyed the spa experience.

We could hear weddings/parties late into the night but I understand that can’t be helped…

Overall a lovely hotel with staff exceptional. Amazing breakfast and grounds.

Duvets much too heavy for summer use but I was provided with a blanket and sheets instead. So all good.

It was a bit hot but they provided a fan in the room. This was out of their control as we’re currently having a heatwave in Ireland.

The food wasn’t up to standard

The food was outstanding, the staff were very friendly and couldn't help you enough. The facilities were fantastic.

I love going on long walks and found it hard to find a good walking area on the estate.

Wir erhielten bei Ankunft ein Upgrade in ein geräumiges Zimmer im Hauptbaus mit Blick in den Park. Traumhaft! Das Zimmer war etwas in die Jahre gekommen, der traumhafte Blick wog jeden Mangel auf.

Luxurious and stately. Beautiful textiles snd decor - really comfortable and welcoming. Beautiful grounds - gorgeous shrubs snd plants. Lovely to walk in.

The hotel itself is beautiful. The rose garden in the back is wonderful. Breakfast was Ala carte and was good. I’m sure the rooms in the front of the hotel were comfortable in the heat of summer as they get the breeze and cool air from the east. The golf course is very nice to play and they give a nice discount for hotel guests.

The room we had in the back of the hotel (deluxe room with four poster bed) was stifling hot and never cooled off. The room faced west and got full sun all afternoon and, as it wasn’t air conditioned, it never got below 85F/30C at night. We had a small fan to blow the hot air around, but it never cooled the room off at all. We had the windows open (they are limited to open only about 12 inches) the entire time, but as the prevailing breeze was from the east, no cool air could enter the room. These rooms need air conditioning! Failing that, how about summer comforters (not thick winter ones), windows that open fully, better fans, fridges in the rooms to hold cold beverages, etc?

Amazing property, nice golf views, the hotel building is cute and clean, good breakfast.

There was no A/C in the room, and we stayed there during the heat wave and it was so hot in the room. Hotel provided a fan for the room, but that did not help :( Also there was wedding in the hotel, and people were soooo loud in the front yard of the hotel till about 2am...and hotel stuff did not do anything...

Ein wunderbares Hotel mit allen Annehmlichkeiten. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, komfortable Zimmer, reichhaltiges Frühstück mit Auswahl, am Tisch serviert. Toller Golfplatz. Faire Preise an der Bar und im Restaurant. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Es passte alles für uns. Beim nächsten Besuch werden wir den Golfplatz reservieren.

The room was spacious and comfortable. There was a big bathroom with a bath. Water in the room. Dinner nice in the bar. Staff friendly. Breakfast nice and plentiful.

The spa facility was being done up and was a bit messy. Pool a little disappointing.

Hatten frühzeitig gebucht, bekamen aber sehr miese Zimmer direkt am Parkplatz. Was aber gar nicht geht, war die Sauberkeit im Bad.

Unser Zimmer war der Sonne zugewendet und daher sehr warm. Leider „vertragen“ wir die Klimaanlage sehr schlecht.
