Excellent location

The house was exceptional, location was excellent,and of course we had the best weather to explore. Two pubs within walking distance a convenience store for daily newspapers, milk etc. A good size garden to relax outside . Everything was just perfect I would fully recommend this house for any family visiting West Cork

It's nothing major not really a dislike, but found we were very limited to tv channels.

We loved the location, lovely little estate of houses. Short walk to a little supermarket, & a couple of nice places to eat. Plenty of utensils, good laundry facilities.

Needs more seating in the lounge for the size of property. Lack of shelves & mirrors in bathrooms. Overall cleanliness needs improvement, just a bit more attention to detail.

A beautiful house in a beautiful location, had everything we needed. The enclosed back garden was an added bonus for our grandchild.

Union Hall is a lovely fishing village in the middle of nowhere, it was perfect to disconnect. The house was 3 minutes walk from the village centre, 5 minutes from the playground and had its own fenced garden. Everything was provided from dishwasher tablets to corkscrew, we were impressed. It was a home away from home and the host was kind, helpful and easy to reach. We will definitely go back, 100% recommended.

Nothing to do with the house and it was perfect. When it is outside tourist season, local restaurants are opened only on weekends.

Location and House was perfect for exporing West Cork, and just a short 5 min walk to the village. The house itself is modern and well equipped, with everything you need for an extended stay. The heating and hot water system was excellent as were the showers (pumped) in the en-suite bedrooms. The large enclosed garden was perfect for us as we had our dog with us. We really enjoyed our stay and Michael (our host) was in touch throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed.

Beautiful accommodation. Very Clean. Well equipped. Comfortable. Enclosed garden for dogs. Good location. Quiet street. Host was very pleasant, helpful and informative.

The house was great, more sets of keys, as I was staying with adult family members so we could have done with more keys.

Location was excellent, set in a wonderful little neighbourhood. Within walking distance to the village with an excellent coffee shop 👌🏼 There was plenty of space and surrounding garden was lovely.

Not enough seating in the living room. The double bed in the back room was not comfortable and really could do with a new mattress. It could do with a few more homely touches like some hooks for towels, robes etc in the bedrooms and bathrooms.

Lovely quiet location but within walking distance of shop, pubs etc.

Had to wait for a little while for the house to be ready after our checkin time. The TV room needs another couch. We were a family of 6 and only 3 could fit on the couch with two other chairs and a bean bag. We didn’t have enough comfortable seating for us all to sit together. The room really needs another couch!

We loved our stay. The house is in an exceptionally quiet area, and the neighbours we did see were very friendly.

The only thing we have to complain about is that we couldn't stay longer!

We really liked this light and airy house in a gorgeous little village. It was close to amenities, a great enclosed garden for our dog, and extremely clean and comfortable. Michael was very accommodating with the entry time, which we really appreciated. We would definitely return.

Breakfast was not included in the booking as it was a house booking for 11 days. The location was extremely good because I could walk to Dinty's for lunch and the Centra store for some shopping. I have stayed in and around Union Hall for years and like the area very much. The garden was a great size for my dog and was secluded and a nice place to sit when the weather was good

I did not like the hallways. You could not go from one room to another and the property felt like a property of two halves.

A beautiful house in a stunning location

The bungalow is beautifully appointed with all mod cons. It was spotlessly clean. Off road parking for at least 3 cars. Located in a very quiet area of Union Hall, with the village centre and the waterside only a short walk away. The village has a Centra local supermarket, and I recommend Dinty's and The Dock Wall for a drink and/or a meal, and Nolan's Coffee House. It is a short drive to the main road (N71) which connects to the towns of West Cork - Clonakilty, Baltimore, Skibbereen, Schull and Bantry are all worth a visit. The countryside and coast accessible from the N71 is spectacular with the peninsulas of Mizen, Sheep's Head and Beara all worth exploring. It is also worth exploring the countryside, lakes and coastline (including hidden bays) of the immediate Union Hall area, although be prepared for narrow lanes! It is a good location for walking, cycling and fishing off the rocks.

Perfect for our family of four and our dog. Loved the layout of the house with spacious separate living & sleeping areas Really clean & comfortable. It was very well equipped. It’s location in Union hall is ideal for exploring the village,local trails and surrounding villages, coves and experiences. Great communication with hosts. We all loved our stay

Beautiful home in a stunning location. Perfect base for exploring the surrounding areas or simply staying local and enjoying a more relaxed pace. Michael and Sheelagh were great hosts. Looking forward to being able to return to Union Hall again in the future.
