Reviewed Jan 22, 2026We had a very nice stay here. The unit is very well equipped and situated in such a way that feels very private and quiet. The location worked very well for us and is walking distance to everything in Featherston. The owners were very nice and easy to communicate with.

Reviewed Jan 31, 2025It was beautiful, house was clean, warm, very cosy feel and had everything we needed plus the Beds were soo soft we had the best sleep lol😊 the host also had a book with menus of local restaurants as well as lists of many things to do (we loved that 😍). The backyard was beautiful during the day with all the pretty flowers and then again at night with an amazing view of the stars. Being PET FRIENDLY was also a bonus, host also provided bowls and poopy bags. Our family loved this place would definitely stay here again and HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT to anyone else 💕 absolutely amazing

Reviewed Jun 4, 2024Perfect location for the Featherston Booktown Festival. Venue had everything we needed and in working order. Hosts easy to contact, friendly and helpful but also liked that it felt like we had the place to ourselves. Would like to stay during warmer weather so could enjoy the lovely back yard garden area.
Only problem could be for bigger vehicles as drive way was quite narrow but no problem for our two small cars which we easily parked outside our rear venue.

Neither of us got much sleep during the night due to ? arguing voices / noises coming from the walls connecting to the owners residence. To top it off early in the morning we heard through the walls, the owners using their toilet. It was all a bit creepy and weird and sorry to say we won't be going back.

As they live on site they're close enough to help immediately with anything, but we'll situated so guests have complete privacy. The space itself is excellent. Everything is clean, perfectly tidy, and well maintained. This is the first time we've used a kitchen and absolutely nothing is broken/slightly bent/missing. We had a wonderful time and would go back in a heartbeat.

Nicky always gave me prompt reply on our questions which is really helpful, Barry greeted us warmly and explained the room facilities patiently. Highly recommend it if you also think Wellington’s accommodation price is insane😀

The decor was beautiful, there was quality linen and thick towels. The accommodation was very well equipped and the WIFI was excellent (fast)!. The Host lived at the front of the property so was always available to assist with any questions. The guest accommodation was at the back so was private, sunny, away from any potential road noise, and had a lovely view of the garden. We highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you.
