Was amazing the cabin was so so cozy. Open fire and all amenities. Very clean and even some eggs and bread to toast for breaky. We paid for a room with a view of Lake Tekapo and it did not disappoint. Very happy with our stay.

Beautifully decorated, good amenities, comfy bed and lovely linen. Cosy little cabin with nice little outdoor area and great hot tub. Lovely touch of fresh eggs and bread on arrival.

Temperature of hot tub too high to stay in for very long.

Beautiful house, managed to star gaze saw a few shooting starts and beautiful view of the lake tekapo and the alpaca zoo in the property was amazing.

Checked in the property at 7pm, there was no electricity but after hours emergency number worked on watsapp texted them and they responded straight away. Thank you for that.

Pretty cabin, well decorated, peaceful, comfy beds, very warm, parking space outside the cabin. On the same property as the petting zoo.

Not super close to the main drag, 10 minute walk some of it along the main road. Not easy to find (google maps doesn't help). Threatening note demanding you clean every dish or you will be charged an extra cleaning fee.

Beautiful, warm, cosy, central location. Toddlers were able to feed the lambs, beautiful bunnies and chickens around the property.

Well kept and beautifully presented. Very clean and cozy. The hot tub under the stars was an absolute highlight and finding the heated tiles and fresh eggs was a nice surprise. Gave the baby lambs a pat on our departure. There was nothing I didn’t like about our stay, we will hands down come back!

The Lodge itself was beautiful. The rooms were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, the heating was also very good. The hot pool was also excellent.

Loved the stay! Fireplace and fully equipped kitchen and even a hot tub. Had a surprise with the welcome gift. Stayed as a couple but great for families

Amazing cabin in a dreamy location when in snow. Beds were so comfortable and kitchen was well kept, grocey store 10mins walk down the hill. The hot tub was divine. They has fresh baby lambs in reception which my daughter was excited to see!

Friendly, helpful staff. Allowed us to get an early check-in. Lots of good communication through the booking.com messaging. Easy vehicle access and parking, and plenty of space indoors for a family of 4.

Very comfortable bed with lovely bed linen, great fire - lovely to sit & relax in the evening after Star Gazing. Blinds & drapes were great at keeping the heat in. Breakfast provisions were a nice touch.

It was warm, extremely comfortable, perfect location. It felt very much like home. The washing machine was also a great addition. Easy walking distance into town centre. The fire was a welcomed touch in the cooler evenings.

The lodge was spacious and well furnished. The log fire warmed up the whole lodge nicely. The fresh bread, eggs, chocolates and condiments were a welcome touch. The view across to the Lake was beautiful.

Very cute and cozy. Loved the welcome sour dough loaf, eggs and chocolate. The comfiest bed I've ever slept on, I may have to buy myself one now!

The wine glasses from previous guests staying were still dirty with lipstick marks.

We were so cosy with the fireplace and the overall feel of the lodge. The spa under the star was exceptional.

I wish the couch was a little more comfortable and the bedrooms all need side tables instead of chairs to put the lamps on. Bathroom was lovey but there needs to be a bigger mat to catch the water from the shower.

Great location. Beautiful views. Warm, clean and comfortable with lovely complementary goodies. The beds were exceptionally comfortable.

Cabin was nice, it was lovely and quiet, which I always look for as I’m noise sensitive. The outdoor spa was nice to have. Fireplace was great and the cabin was warm overnight with the heating in the bedroom.

We just have gone in a peak period (April) as it was super expensive and probably could have rented something similar on AirBnB for a better price given it was self-contained. The under floor heating in the bathroom didn’t work, we called staff to take a look and they said it appeared to be broken, which was very disappointing for the price (and no effort to offer apology).

Loved everything about the hut we stayed in. Barbara Hay had stunning lake views (even while laying in our bed) and the most comfortable beds. An extra special touch was the bread and other treats on arrival. Highly recommend this stay, it was the highlight of our whole 3 weeks trip.

I loved everything, there are so many personal touches that made the stay so much better. The floors are heated in the bathroom, the shower is quite large aswell. The fireplace comes with plenty of wood so you won’t go cold!! Upon arrival you are greeted with beautiful staff and when entering your hut, there are eggs, fresh bread, beers and milk, beautiful touch.

Location is great, lodge kinda hard to find using google maps. Fireplace was ready. Heating was ok. Shower water pressure and temperature was great. Love the provided breakfast supplies.

Got hurt at the bathroom sink because it had a sharp chipped/broken edge right in the middle. One of the rules was to wash dishes. But we got unclean pots/pans so we had to rewash them.

The log fire, hot tub and local produce on arrival is very good, but you day pay a premium for these.

Despite the premium price charged the cabin was a bit worse for wear. The shower raiser was held to the rail with zip ties, the cookerhood was missing a bulb and so the lighting didn't work, the coffee machine leaked and the corner carousel in the kitchen didn't work because the doors were missing and the pillows are thin.. Not good when you charge over £400 (800nzd) per night.

Gorgeous cozy cottage. We did not want to leave. Short walk to the lake, supermarket and lovely coffee shops. The hot tub in the evening star gazing was amazing as were the little bunnies and visit from three chickens. I would love to return

Comfy, cozy and stocked up with all the little things that make your stay great. Thoughtful set up with fresh bread, eggs, milk and chocolates. Cabins are thoughtfully laid out.

The lodges are well set up & comfortable. Wonderful to have the fire set ready to light & some local products for breakfast. Each lodge is private & the staff were great to communicate with & enabled us to have an early check-in.

The cabin felt very cozy and warm, especially with the fireplace and the fluffy sofa—it made the stay extra relaxing. The view is beautiful, bunnies running around , and the room itself was clean. We also loved the coffee capsules, sourdough really good.

during the daytime, there can be people passing by the window, so privacy is slightly limited.

We have traveled many countries and stayed many rentals. This is the only unit that my fussy wife said "I would love to live here". Unit was excellently equipped and lacked nothing. Everything was perfect and we highly recommend! Host was so welcoming and quick to answer all our questions making our local experience exceptional.

Beautifully created property with many nice touches. We loved our brief stay.
