Villa 46

Unser Aufenthalt bei Lisbeth und Patrick hätte nicht schöner sein können! Es ist alles genauso wie beschrieben und besser. Alles, was wir benötigten, war vorhanden. Die kleine Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet und alles ist gut durchdacht. Das Frühstück auf der schönen Terrasse war immer ein toller Start in den Tag. Die Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer schafft in Kombination mit dem Ventilator auch das Wohnzimmer/Küche mit abzukühlen, so dass alles sehr angenehm war. Die Dusche ist schön geräumig und gut einzustellen. Unseren Mietwagen konnten wir direkt in der Straße vor dem Gartentor parken. Die Schlüsselkarte für die Poolnutzung haben wir besonders toll gefunden. Die Anlage ist sehr schön, direkt am Meer und immer gepflegt. Alles ist in Laufnähe, auch der Supermarkt und einige gute Restaurants. Wir fanden "Just grillin" und Zaccios am Strand am besten. Am Abreisetag durften wir noch etwas länger bleiben, was super lieb war! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Lovely quiet apartment in a perfect location. Close to the beach, restaurants, supermarket, and medical center. Free access to the beach club was fantastic, comfortable sunbeds, right on the beach, convenient showers, and a beautiful pool. The help and service from our hosts Patrick and Lisbeth was amazing, they gave great tips, and the apartment is lovely. In short, a wonderful stay in Barbados, and definitely worth repeating!!

Alles was perfect , het huisje het terras, de ligging. Daarbij zijn bovenal de eigenaren geweldig en hebben er alles aangedaan om ervoor ons te zijn (moesten eerder de vakantie afbreken) Wij zullen hun niet snel vergeten en dragen hun een warm hart toe.

Location was the best. Close to everything . Big grocery store nearby and close to Holetown and very nice local beach. Apartment was nice and just perfect size for 2 people, Very well equipped. It has everything you need. We loved the outside seating area, although the chairs outside were not very comfortable to sit on for a long time . The owners were super nice and we have received a nice welcome and very clear instructions upon arrival and they gave us some very good recommendations on restaurants etc, which we gave it a try and were very happy about .

The villa was equipped with everything necessary to prepare all meals.

Clean and well equipped, only thing is they don’t have laundry detergent. If it did it would have been perfect. Overall great accommodation!

Villa 46 is a charming cottage, on the hosts' property, but with a private entrance and private tropical garden -- and just a five minute walk to the beach and and a lovely beach club to which we had access. There is a well equipped kitchen, and an excellent supermarket a short walk away -- as well as many shops and bars and restaurants, including the Tides and Paul Owens at the Beach House -- two of Barbados' best restaurants. The hosts Lizbeth and Patrick are wonderful -- very helpful and friendly.

The lovely cottage is well equipped and has air conditioning in the bedroom, but another unit in the living room/kitchen would be welcome.

Very quaint and clean, nearby restaurants, the beach, and shops. There is also a large grocery store walking distance away.

Nothing in particular but it’s a little difficult to get around outside of the nearby shops and local restaurants.

One bed apartment surrounded by flora and fauna in an ideal location for anybody looking to stay in and around Holetown, Sandy Lane, St.James. Good value for money, a real home from home and looked after by a fabulous couple who live next to the apartment. Bedding, towels, beach chairs all provided along with use of the Sunset Crest communal pool. Close to public transport routes, beaches, a variety of restaurants and shops including a large supermarket and petrol station. Could not have wished for a more ideal holiday let. Communication with the owners before, during and after the let was top class. If birdsong morning, noon and night is your thing, you will be delighted. When strolling around the town, it was fantastic to see so many people just saying hello. Everybody is relaxed and friendly and happy to help however they can.

Use of security padlocks on the access gate and an internal security gate. Not sure whether this is just an insurance thing as it absolutely did not seem or feel like the kind of location that needed these additional security measures.

Had a fantastic stay at Villa 46. Lisbeth and Patrick are lovely and very welcoming. Location was perfect. Would highly recommend.

The location in holetown is fantastic. Close to beech shops and restaurants. The use of the Beech club was great. The beech is so beautiful. Good bus links for getting around the island. We adored the house, the gorgeous balcony area, and a beautiful garden. The hosts Patrick and Lisbeth were fantastic, advised us on the island, places to eat, and could not do enough for us. I can't wait to go back. Amazing Amazing

The property is very comfortable with plenty of room and hanging space for clothes with enough hangers! Lovely soft bedding. Spotlessly clean. The garden is a little oasis with birdsong to accompany your meals. The owners could not be kinder. It is in a very convenient position and the beach is beautiful - you can choose to take the chairs and umbrella kindly provided or if you prefer a sunbed these are available to hire. We preferred the quieter end of the beach towards the Marine Park. Great restaurants to choose from. Chattel Village in Holetown is very attractive. Tip - if you want to buy wine try the Duty Free shop - cheaper than the supermarket! A wonderful stay - thank you Patrick and Lisbeth.

Beautiful Villa 46. Great location, well equipped villa / apartment. For us the highlight of our stay, aside to the villa was our lovely hosts Lisbeth and Patrick and their extended family of rescue animals! Lisbeth and Patrick epitomise the culture of Barbados with kindness, warmth & generosity. Thank you for a lovely stay & next year we’ll take Patrick up on his kind offer 😉 x

A lovely villa in a peaceful location and yet just a couple of minutes' walk away from shops, restaurants and beaches. We loved it, and membership of the beach club was a great bonus!

Great position

The location was fabulous. Very close to a lovely quiet beach, restaurants, beach club, and supermarket that sells Waitrose products. Patrick, and Lisbeth, are wonderful hosts that could not do enough for us. Patrick collected us from the airport, and took us to the supermarket for a grocery shop before meeting Lisbeth at the apartment. We had a wonderful stay, and can’t wait to come back.

We absolutely loved the property, more true to authentic Bajen house. With its own private gardens it made it a lovely area to relax. As it’s in a more residential area with lots of gardens, we had many monkeys visiting us for breakfast!!! It was just amazing! The location was amazing perfect, a short walk to the beaches and access to the club pool in one direction and easy walking distance to Sandy Lane golf course which we walked each morning. The hosts were very friendly and lived next door so close by if we needed any help.

There was nothing we didn’t like, it was just perfect!

This was our third visit to Barbados and Holetown is by far our favourite place to stay. The apartment is private and in an excellent location. Lisbeth and Patrick are a wonderful couple and on hand for anything needed. Patrick collected and dropped us to the airport which was really helpful. The access to the beach club with pool, just a few minutes walk, was brilliant and we went most days. Everything you need is nearby including regular buses (or taxis) to get around the island. Thank you so much for hosting us! :)

Location was amazing, walking distance to beautiful beaches and great restaurants. Air con in the bedroom was a lifesaver. Patrick and Lisbeth were so welcoming, and took me to and from the airport (and introduced me to their dogs). They also made sure my safety was a priority as a solo female traveller, which I appreciated. Right by the bus stop if you want to make day trips to Bridgetown/ Speightstown.

No complaints but anyone taller than me (5’10”) will likely have to bend in the shower as it’s fixed to the wall.

5 Stars - A Wonderful and Affordable Stay in Barbados! I had an amazing stay in Barbados, and I can't recommend this vacation home enough! As a young solo female traveler, I felt incredibly safe and welcomed throughout my stay. The hosts were incredibly kind and generous, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort and peace of mind. The home was spotless, well-organized, and had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. The neighborhood was safe, quiet, and friendly, with shops, restaurants, and a beautiful beach just a short walk away. I was especially grateful for the host's kindness in picking me up from the airport and even taking me to the grocery store on my first day. Their hospitality made me feel right at home. On top of all this, the cost for the rental was very affordable, making this an exceptional value for such a wonderful experience. This was truly a 5-star stay, and I will definitely be coming back!

We only met Pat, he's a great host. Holetown is one of the best location on the island, very close to grocery store and beaches. Pat allowed us access to a local swimming pool that we used pretty often. The house had everything we needed.

The location was perfect for our stay and the Villa had lots of amenities for a great stay. You had access to a lovely beach club area and it was close to lots of restaurants and a bus stop. The hosts, Lisbeth and Patrick, were lovely and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

Nothing! We loved it and would return Just make sure you get clear directions, to everywhere or it can be a little confusing in the area as people didn’t know the name of the street but had we planned better and we used an off-line map it would’ve been easier :-)

The hosts Lisbeth and Patrick are extremely warm and helpful and even took me to the supermarket on the evening of my arrival. The property itself is perfectly self-contained with everything you need for a self-catered trip, with a lovely outdoor dining patio and garden. It is in close proximity to the boardwalk, supermarket and restaurants. It includes access to a nearby beach club and pool, if you prefer to avoid the sea or want to have a base.

Great location, fully equipped for cooking, pretty outside terrace to enjoy the peaceful garden. Patrick and Lisbeth are a delightful couple on hand to Help with anything you should need.

First, I have to say that we decided to visit Barbados on a whim, and booked this house the night before arrival, and yet, it was ready and clean even a few hours before the official check-in time, and at such a short notice. The next big plus is the fact that the owners communicated all the time, providing important information, and then met us in the house to hand over the keys. This is so rare in today's age of "contactless" everything and it really meant a lot to us. The house has a beautiful garden with flowery trees, a parking in front of the house, and easy access to the very good bus system. It is 5 minutes' walk from a gorgeous beach with a small reef (albeit damaged) for snorkeling, where we saw amazing fish on any day. There is a big supermarket, a lux shopping mall and several restaurants and bars. Holetown is most likely the most expensive area of the entire island, the prices of eating out are almost prohibitive, so it meant a lot that the kitchen was fully functional and equipped, and that we could cook all our meals there. One can really enjoy in the house, and I even managed to do some work with quite good wi-fi. Everything is provided, including such items like beach towels, chairs, and sunbrella, or a thermo bag for your beach beer, for example. Finally, and most importantly, Lis and Patrick are the kindest people who will remain in your heart long after you have visited them. I cannot recommend them and their house enough for a really enjoyable vacation, or even a workation, like mine.

Fantastic location in a beautiful garden

location was great. Villa owners Patrick and Lisbeth could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Patrick picked us up from the airport and took us directly to the property. He even offered to stop of at the local supermarket to pick up some essentials. Membership of the local beach club pool area was included and we made good use of the facilities on multiple days. All in all a great break away.
