Reviewed Sep 14, 2026I have been at the cabins a few times, this one was definitely the best and was a very beautiful Cabin, I would say the best I’ve seen. Everything about it and even the hosts were a pleasure and you can tell the cabin is well looked after. I will be back!

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026Absolutely loved staying here. So relaxing and everyone we met were so friendly. Loved the gated entrance - made you feel secure. Watching the boats pass up the river was great. The house has everything you need for a self-catering stay and only a short drive into Ballyconnell. Will definitely be back.
The windows upstairs could do with a latch, I was afraid the wind would take them - no halfway opening. .

Eckhaus in erster Reihe mit Flussblick, ab und zu kommt ein Hausboot vorbei, gegenüber weiden Schafe 🐑 Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Unser Aufenthalt war viel zu kurz.

We traveled as a family of 5 and had a wonderful time the host has def went above and beyond to guarantee you have a wonderful time everything u could possibly need is there. I’m a frequent traveler and this is the best place I’ve been. Will definitely be back and cannot recommend this place enough

Reviewed Dec 15, 2024It was easily the best place I've stayed in a long time.The cabin itself was immaculate...and the surrounding area was beautiful..river right in front of the cabin and surrounded by trees ..only think that wasn't great was the pot holes on the way in and the very high ramps ..other than that it was 10 out of 10 . Will definitely be back

Reviewed Dec 2, 2024Location is a few miles out of Ballyconnell so definitely need a car to get around, however taxis were very easy to get so no issue with location. The cabin is beautiful, so cosy & homely with plenty of space. Beds were comfortable, cabin was warm and clean and the host was so friendly and helpful. The scenery around is beautiful too, overlooking the water and so peaceful.

Reviewed Mar 18, 2024amazing location , our cabin was located just beside the river bank. when sipping a coffee on a terrace, you can view the river and listen to birds singing, very calming, and you really feel connected to nature. The fireplace in the enerning made our stay even more cosy. the place is spotless clean, everything is working fine. this opportunity is definitely worth every cent spent; higly recommend for visiting thanks to the lovely hosts for such a nice weekend.

Only small issue was the lack of wifi and phone signal. The tap water seemed to leave a scum in the kettle so we had to boil our water in a pot on the hob.

Reviewed Jan 2, 2023Fully equipped , beautiful log cabin, very specious and clean, pool table was extra fun.Close to River, in the middle of the forest for lovely walks.
Tap water wasn't drinkable, and the colour for the bath was yellowish.However we got exra big bottle with drinking water.Kids were not happy there was no WiFi but for me was just great 👍
