The name says it all—Home Comforts truly felt like home! A welcoming, comfortable stay in a great location. Sheila and Owen were wonderful and very responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Home Comforts!

Wonderful location with the nicest hosts! The home had everything you could possibly need (plenty of kitchen, bath, etc. equipment available). Parking was easy and the neighborhood is quiet. We were a day late for our reservation and the hosts were extremely easy to work with and even had a few surprises for our children knowing it had been a long couple travel days!

Pour commencer le plus appréciable dans le logement ce sont les Hôtes. Sheila et Owen ne savent pas quoi faire pour nous satisfaire. Gentils serviables à l’écoute tout en sachant rester discrets. Nous avons rencontré deux belles personnes. La maison est idéalement située pour visiter le kerry , la péninsule de Dingle, la péninsule de Beara et la Péninsule de loop head. La Maison était hyper propre bien équipée et la ville possède 3 super marchés et pleins de pubs. Que demander d’autre ?

Location was brilliant - around 30mins from Tralee and Killarney, 1 hour from dingle! We had such a lovely stay, beds were so comfy and there were great cooking facilities and utensils! Lovely wee patio to sit out and relax after a day spent at the nearby beaches. Hosts left us a wee welcome pack with treats and there's lots of info about the area too. We will definitely look to come back for our next trip to Kerry

Anfitriões bastantes simpáticos. Preparam um lanchinho de recepção muito bom. Casa bastante confortável e sossegada, muito bem equipada e relativamente perto de Killarney e do ring of kerry. Sem dúvida que repetiria a experiência.

A pressão do chuveiro poderia ser maior e os colchões das camas de solteiro mais confortáveis. De resto, tudo impecável!

This is not intended as a negative response just to assist with future improvements. The amount hot water was restricted. We were gone all day and not any when we came home in the kitchen. Bathroom had great water control. Lack of control of the heating as well, so opened a window as necessary

The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Very friendly owners and good communication.

We really enjoyed the stay. It has everything we need particularly for our 8 months son which was really helpful. The host was lovely and the instruction thorough the house was very clean to follow

The location was perfect, it was close to the town, within walking distance of all amenities, it had adequate parking for all our guests. The house was wonderful, homely and warm with heating set up each day. The host, Sheila and her husband were amazing, responsive to any requests.

There was nothing we didn't like, it was perfect!

Кімнати всі затишні. На кухні є весь необхідний посуд. Ми готували самі. Рекомендую всім це помешкання.

This place has everything you need. There were supplies of tea and coffee. Everything you need for cooking as well as a little welcome pack of porridge, eggs, water, soda bread, and goodies. It was our first time travelling with our new baby and Shelia even got me a nice little baby bath so I could wash her as there are only showers the house. We found our bed to be very warm and comfortable.

To be fair, we can't really complain about anything. We enjoyed our stay. If I had to pick something, I found the microwave a bit high up, but I'm only 5'1", so everything is high for me.

We received a lovely warm welcome from our hosts Sheila and Owen. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay in this lovely, cosy house that was very clean and well maintained. Will definitely stay again, highly recommend this property. Very convenient location also.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les échanges avec les hôtes, l'emplacement avec l'essentiel (pubs, supermarchés,...) qui nous permet de parcourir le Kerry facilement.

Great location if you’re exploring the Ring of Kerry or Dingle Peninsula. River walk in Castleisland is 20m up the street. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Instructions on how to use the showers/appliances were well laid out and easy to follow.

I would suggest thicker curtains or bring a sleeping mask, as the summer sun sets very late and rises very early.

How friendly Sheila our host was on the phone before we arrived. The lovely welcome basket of food and goodies on the table. Milk and water in the fridge. Tea, coffee and sugar all set out, it was like walking in to home from home. The house was spotless, warm and cosy, great beds and very quiet at night time.

There was noting to dislike. Everything you could possibly need was there, from free body wash, shampoo, conditioner, to multipurpose house cleaning products.

Was a home away from home and we didn't want to leave! Arrived to freshly baked cakes and treats from Sheila and Owen. We have never stayed in a house so well stocked with what you need. It was exceptionally clean and such a cosy house, the beds were super comfy. Walking distance to the lovely town, petrol stations and supermarkets and everyone in the area is so friendly. The supervalu supermarket in the town is amazing for freshly made foods! Sheila and Owen came to check on us and recommended things to do in the local area for the children. They were so friendly and lovely, cannot recommend staying here enough! We will definitely be back 😍.

Nothing we didn't like at all!

Location was amazing. A few minutes walk into the centre of town to all the shops. The communication with Sheila was amazing. Any question we had, she answered straight away. Very friendly and welcoming.

Great location in CastleIsland that is a great location for seeing the Dingle Peninsula and the ring of Kerry. Sheila is an excellent host! The kitchen had everything we needed and there was plenty of toilet paper!!! It was very reasonably priced for all we got and had included parking out the back. Would stay there again!

My booking.com messaging was not working but that was not the owner's fault.

The location was excellent for our parties needs. The property was well equipped, beds so so comfy. Nice little welcome basket from the owners Sheila & Owen who even popped round to ensure we're OK.

Some of the decorations in the property, guess this is just personal taste.

Fantastic location. 2 minute walk to shops, pubs etc. 5 mins drive from Crag Caves. Aldi and Supervalu 2 min drive round corner. Very comfortable house. Big warm range in kitchen. 4 lovely bedrooms with comfy beds. TV with plenty of DVDs. Off road parking. Lovely welcome from host Sheila. Thanks a million. We will be back.

This was our second time to stay as a family at Home Comforts. Shelia and Owen are wonderful hosts, house lovely and warm upon arrival, fantastic welcome pack, tea, milk, coffee, apple pie, bottled water, chocolate bars etc..a great welcome by all! Home Comforts had absolutely everything we needed for our stay, great location, would highly recommend Home Comforts to all.

The location of the property made things a lot easier for us to buy all that we needed for our stay. The house was very neat and clean..and the host was very helpful interms of giving us information of where to take the kids for fun .

Loved everything about the property.

Home comforts is exactly what it means, and Sheila goes above and beyond in that! We arrived with a welcome package of buns and scones and milk for the tea after a long trip. The place was super clean and everything thought of so it really did feel like home! The garden was lovely and well looked after! Was super cosy for relaxing in! It was well catered for children as well as we had our 10 month old baby who loved the place! Will be back again and thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

Nothing it was perfect!

This was a perfect home from home stay, in a great location for touring Kerry and surrounding counties. The house itself was well maintained, clean and comfortable. I would recommend this for holiday home for families, there was plenty of room, cooking facilities, and we were just a short walk from Castleisland town. Sheila and Owen were great to deal with and on arrival there was home baked goodies which was a lovely touch.

I loved this place. All the comforts of home. The owners Sheila and Owen had gone through the the extra trouble of providing snacks and treats and also came by for a visit to meet us. This was by far my favorite accommodations on our Great Britain / Ireland vacation. A very short walk to town. Pats restaurant is about 100 yards away. Great food at a fair price and recommended by the owners and myself. Thanks again for everything. Castleisland is also the perfect proximity to all the surrounding attractions of Kerry.

Location was perfect for us. 15 min drive to Tralee and Castleisland had everything we need for the week. House was beautiful and well kept. The hosts were very well organised and we had everything we needed.

No WiFi kids were a little disappointed but we just used our mobile data in the evenings during the days we were kept busy between castleisland tralee and kilarney

Lovely welcome pack on arrival made up of homemade buns etc. Sugar, coffee, milk etc were all provided. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. House had everything we needed, was cosy and in a great location central to all amenities. Would definitely recommend to others. As a family we were very impressed with our stay at Home Comforts.

We had a great few days away in this lovely location shops etc so near within walking distance the house is beautiful which made it even better equipped with everything so no need to overpack😀 was lovely to meet Sheila she was so welcoming and such a lovely person and made sure we were ok for everything throughout our stay and gave us a lovely welcoming pack and spent time to make fresh cakes which the kids loved we will be definitely booking here again
