Petite cabane charmante et cosy, très bien aménagée au cœur des bois. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la grande terrasse et le calme des lieux. L’accueil était très aimable et chaleureux.

Le lit était douillet, même si le matelas était un peu trop souple à notre goût. Il manque peut-être quelques rangements pour les vêtements, surtout pour un séjour de plusieurs jours.

Tilkomsten var forferdelig! Vanskelig å parkere bilen trygt. Ustabil tilkomst over byggeplass . Støyping og store bilar om morgonen.

كل شيء كان جيد وانا سعيد بقضاء ليلة هادئة ونوم هانئ على فراش مريح بدون ضوضاء ثم الاستيقاظ واخذ حمام مميز في مرافق نظيفة ومخدمة بشكل جيد بالاضافة الى الة صنع القهوة كانت رائعة :)

لو كانت غرفة معزولة للاطفال لكان افضل

Vi var i hytten én nat. Det er perfekt afstand til Kristiansand, som vi skulle sejle fra næste dag. Der var en dejlig stor privat terrasse, som vi sad på hele aftenen. Badeværelset er super flot. Vi var glade for at der var fuldt funktionelt køkken (så vi kunne sætte en øl i køleskabet!) og at vi kunne lave en kop kaffe før vi tog afsted 😍

Very well equiped cabin with a very nice deck with furniture to enjoy the good weather and a great shower. Hosts were very friendly.

Logement fonctionnel et confortable, très bien aménagé, avec goût. Nous avons trouvé tout ce dont nous avions besoin pour préparer nos repas. La terrasse est bien exposée et abritée du vent. Merci à Kenneth pour son accueil et sa gentillesse. Situé dans un quartier calme, à 15 minutes de la gare maritime et du centre de Kristiansand, et à 1 km d'un petit supermarché.

De Kveldsro cabin ligt in een prachtige omgeving. Gecombineerd met het grote terras maakt dit een heerlijk plekje om te verblijven.

Kenneth ist ein aufmerksamer, überaus freundlicher Gastgeber. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt und angenehm. Die Hütte ist klein und fein, die Terrasse sehr geräumig, die Küche gut ausgestattet. Man findet alles, was man braucht. Uns hat besonders gefallen, dass man inmitten einer grünen Umgebung wohnt.

Dejlig hyggelig hytte med det man har brug for på en ferie. Kommer helt sikkert igen.

Sehr schönes, gemütliches und liebevoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage. Es gibt ein modernes Bad, eine gut ausgestattete Küche und ein gemütliches Bett; zusätzlich ein Hochbett und eine große Terrasse mit Sitzmöbeln und Blick ins Grüne. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Check-in/ Check-out haben super funktioniert. Auch die Busanbindung nach Kristiansand ist sehr gut.

Die Lage der Unterkunft war gut für Ausflüge in der Umgebung. Gastgeber sind sehr nett. Unterkunft war sehr gut ausgestattet.

Parkmöglichkeit in Unterkunftsnähe vorhanden, aber nicht einfach zu befahren. Leider war der Weg vom Parkplatz zur Unterkunft durch eine Baustelle beschwerlich zu erreichen. Die Baustelle sollte aber irgendwann ja beendet sein.

Die Lage zum erkunden der Umgebung war super. Die Cabin hatte alles was man braucht. Wäre Sommer gewesen gab es auch eine wunderschöne große Terrasse mit einem tollen Grill. Wir waren im März dort - leider mit viel Regen.

Det var mysigt i stugan tyckte vi. Sen var det väldigt skönt med golvvärme när det är så kallt ute. Värden var hjälpsam.

Cabine très mignonne. Très cosy et bien chauffé. L'emplacement est ideal pour un départ avec le ferry. Rapport qualité prix imbattable.

Malgré la presence d'un lave vaisselle, la vaisselle etait dans l'ensemble pas super propre.

Sehr schöne kleine Hütte geeignet für 2 Personen, liegt gut in der Nähe von Kristiansand. Sehr weiches Bett (!! Muss man mögen!!), alles modern eingerichtet, leicht beheizbar mit Fußbodenheizung, super Preis- Leistungsverhältnis

Liegt erhöht an einer vielbefahrenen Straße (hört man Tag und Nacht), Abflüsse im Bad laufen schlecht ab

Tolle kleine Hütte hinter dem Wohnhaus. Ausreichend Platz für 4 Erwachsene, wunderschönes Badezimmer und Terrasse. Küche war super, sogar mit Kaffeebohnen und Kaffeevollautomat ausgestattet. Besser geht es einfach nicht :)

Preis-Leistung war top.

Perfect setting for the last night in Norway before ferry departure, less than 30 min by car to Kristiansand port. Same for late ferry arrivals. Also very recommendable for longer stays to explore Kristiansand area. Super clean, and super quiet at night. Fully equipped kitchen, good hot showers, large private patio with sofas and table. Big TV screen for those who really need such on a Norway vacation ;-) Parking a car/van is no problem, only 50 m and up the stairway to the cabin. The owner is living in the House underneath the cabin, friendly and helpful!

It is a bit tricky to find the place - do not confuse Høielia with Høietun as we first did. The latter is well signposted from Riksvei 9, the proper accessway to Høielia is not. As described, the first exit to that tiny road is blocked, so drive about 50m further downhill for entry. Quite steep and narrow road up to the cabin, however no problem for regular cars, and obviously even for campervans, as we saw one standing up there ;-) The one and only complaint about the cabin itself: we found no switch to turn off the patio light at night...

Navigatie geeft een andere ligging, gelukkig hadden we al goede instructies ontvangen van de eigenaar. Dat scheelde enorm!

Very cleverly designed small space with a lovely outside deck. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything needed and the bathroom was extremely well designed. The pot of flowers at the front porch was a lovely touch. Small arrival gift appreciated.

Rund ums Haus zu viel abgestelltes, was auf den Sperrmüll gehört.

It was a comftable little gem of a cabin, it had everything for everyday life, and more... Just like home, but on a vacation! There is fine bathroom, really good beds, and the owners are good folk. The surrounding trees took away the view, but offered a little privacy in exchange.

Billegenheden var dårlig med støj fra nærliggende vej - ikke som forventet. Svært at parkerer bilen

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin! It was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We truly enjoyed spending time here with our family, and we would love to come back. Highly recommended!

Heating floor system in the bathroom

Pretty interior,clean. Comfy bed, hot water and everything soul can wish for in the kitchen! Our stay was short, only 1 day, but we used the grill, got to see some nice places around Kristiansand and that's most important! Contact with the owner was easy

The cabin has everything you need. The bed is really comfortable and also the TV they Have has everything you need to enjoy a night there. I would really recommend this place if you’re traveling and you need a place to stay because it’s so comfortable and warm you can you can choose the temperature you want it to be It’s so high tech and so just comfortable all around. The bathroom is also really really comfortable and compact, but it has everything you need.

Bed was very comfortable, kitchen was very well supplied, decking gave a lot of extra outdoor space, bathroom was super convenient and constructed well, great shower, coffee machine was a welcome bonus.

The cabin is very well equipped and was very clean. Everything we needed was there. Communication with Kenneth was very friendly and umcomplicated. We liked it and would definately come back. We had a car. So it was no problem to come to Kristiansand and the zoo.

I want to leave a thank you review. Wonderful owner! After booking the apartments, we received detailed instructions on how to find the place and where to park. The owner answered all questions by phone and made our stay as easy and comfortable as possible. The room is clean. The room has everything you need for an overnight stay. Comfortable bed with a comfortable mattress, warm duvets. The child sat comfortably on a bunk bed. There is everything you need: kitchen utensils and dishes, household appliances, plasma TV and a comfortable shower. It was nice that we were treated to vegetables and fruits! Our stay in these apartments was wonderful! Thanks for the hospitality! I recommend the apartments for a pleasant overnight stay.

Lovely, Cosy and well equipped .

A lovely place. Be aware Norwegian winters can be harsh and icy. Since the property is on a higher level good winter tyres and shoes are helpful.

To be fair, we booked the cabin 30 minutes before our arrival . Upon arrival, water was not working for whole cabin. Tried unsuccessfully to call, email and text the owner for 2 hours after arrival before finally calling booking.com, where they emergency paged him and he finally called me back. Bunk beds were not made and there were no sheets in the unit. When the staff finally arrived 3 hours after we got there, they gave us sheets and made the bed, but the sheets were very old and not soft. One of the girls with the black hair acted rude towards me and I found out that they get to stay there as long as they help out taking care of the property. The unit was clean on the surface, but when we looked under the bed to try to find something that we dropped, there was a lot of debris underneath the bed indicating it had not been vacuumed in many months. It' snowed the night of our stay, and the driveway was covered in snow at noon and had not been shoveled or removed in any way. Luckily we had snow tires.

Great place to stay for up to 4 people. It is a little bit off the beaten path, but very worth it. Very clean, comfy and great price for what's on offer compared to the pricier hotels in the city. Strongly recommend

The place is very cozy and you have everything you need in a little cabin, very warm and good isolation system, we couldn’t enjoy the terrace as it just started snowing one day before 😊 I had a great stay and definitely recommend it for couples . Finally I would like to thank Gemma & Kenneth who hosted us and made our stay very enjoyable.

Firstly I must say that the hosts go out of their way to make you comfortable and to make your stay as pleasant as possible. This is particularly shown in the facilities at this little cabin. There is everything there you could need even, unusually in a small cabin, a dishwasher. There was even cumin and other spices in the kitchen cupboards and a coffee machine. The bathroom seems to be a recent addition to the cabin and it has been kitted out to a much higher standard than you would expect with quality fittings and decor. The cabin has a large balcony which gets the sun into the late afternoon which is great for relaxing after a trek. The nearby lake beach is a pretty place to visit and to swim in and is maybe a fifteen minute walk from the cabin. We found another lake with swimming area eleven minutes drive away and this was also a lovely place to spend the day. All in all, a very nice place to visit and serve as a base for travelling around and taking in the local scenery,

I guess many would not notice but there is a little road noise that you can hear from the balcony. It didn't bother us unduly but is worth noting.
