Absolute Bruges

The location was absolutely brilliant, the room was so spacious and spotless. Everything was beautifully decorated and felt luxurious.

Echt het was geen fijne ervaring! Het beddengoed was niet ok ! De kamer was veel te warm en bij aankomst zelf verluchten .Veel te luidruchtige straat en buren ! Tv veel te klein voor zo een grote kamer konden geen ondertitels lezen . De eigenaars was niet te zien , noem dit geen B&B ! Ook geen ontbijt ! In de reviews staat geweldig ontbijt! Als je moeilijk te been bent kun je daar best niet verblijven ! Er staat koffie op de kamer , geen koffie op de kamer!

Uns hat alles an der Unterkunft gefallen!!! Michele ist eine sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Gastgeberin. Alle notwendigen Info`s wurden vorab geklärt und zugesandt. Die Unterkunft ist in einem mit viel Liebe renovierten Altbau. Wir hatten ein wirklich großes helles Zimmer, welches geschmackvoll eingerichtet war, dazu ein großes Bett, genügend Ablagefläche und sogar deutsches TV. Das Tageslichtbad war über eine Treppe nach unten zu erreichen, war ebenfalls sehr geräumig, mit einer großen begehbaren Dusche, und ebenfalls genügend Ablageflächen. Es gibt gegen Aufpreis die Möglichkeit, sich Frühstück machen zu lassen, ansonsten ist im EG ein Sideboard mit Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher Kühlschrank und Geschirr etc., wo man sich selbst etwas zubereiten kann. Kaffee/Tee wird gratis angeboten. Angegliedert ist dort auch ein offen gestalteter Living Room, und bei schönem Wetter kann man auf einer kleinen Terrasse sitzten. Geparkt haben wir in 5 Gehminuten in einer Tiefgarage, und auch ins Zentrum von Brügge sind es nicht mehr als 5 Minuten. Für uns ist klar, dass, sollten wir wieder einmal nach Brügge reisen, wir wieder diese Unterkunft wählen.

Keine Kritik, einfach nur als Anmerkung!!! Wenn Personen schlecht zu Fuß / unsicher im Gehen sind, dann könnte es teilweise etwas schwierig sein, die zwar wenigen, aber schmalen Treppen zu den Zimmern zu bewältigen. In Zimmer Nr. 1, welches wir auch hatten, ist das Badezimmer ebenfalls nur über eine steilere Holztreppe zu erreichen - es gibt allerdings auch Zimmer, bei denen das Badezimmer wohl ebenerdig liegt.

The property is amazing and beautiful and is in a very convenient location, a short walk to all the attractions, but in a quiet road to escape it all and with a supermarket close by We were very lucky and had the property almost completely to ourselves (others had accommodation for two nights in the top of the house but we didn't see them) and so we could relax in the lounge or garden most evenings. A well stocked fridge with drinks is available to buy through an honesty box - which we used on our last night and is a great touch. Michelle although not there for our stay was very quick to respond to our queries and fully accommodated an early check in and allowed us to keep our cases there until we had to leave for the Eurostar - and we were sad to leave!

It is quite hard to find anything - but because Europe is in the grip of a heatwave and the building is very old and doesn't have Air Con (I did check) both rooms come with fans. Although these are quite noisy and sound like they are giving out some power, in fact they are useless and generated very little air movement, so the rooms were very hot at night. As the windows open inwards and there are blinds on them you are also unable to open these fully at night, unless the blinds are pulled up and then you are woken early with the sun rising. The rooms also only come with one pillow each - but a choice of two would be welcome for those who like two for a more comfortable sleep and the bed sheets in Rooms 1 & 2 were made of a very 'rough/scratchy' material which weren't too nice to sleep on. Better fans, a couple more pillows and a softer bed sheet would have made this a 100 out of 100 stay - but we would still give this an amazing and strong 98 out of 100 stay and highly recommend!

The aesthetic was lovely, bed was super comfortable as well. Shower was brilliant (loved the inclusion of rituals shampoo as well)

Expensive and no complementary option for tea/coffee. We were seemingly down the road from a nightclub as well which was extremely noisy on a Saturday night

Die Unterkunft war geräumig. Die Lage war gut, die Besitzerin war sehr nett. und immer erreichbar.

Het was een prachtige B&B! Jammer dat we maar 1 nacht hadden geboekt. De eigenaresse heeft ons ontbijt topgeregeld met verse broodjes, croissantjes, zalm, heerlijke kaasjes en nog veel meer! Het was voor ons teveel, maar alles was heerlijk!

Location is superb! Far enough from the crowds and close enough that within minutes you are in city square! The rooms are excellent, comfortable and beautiful! We wished to stay longer!

Located about three minutes away from the main square yes so quiet The decorating is understated, elegance, and absolutely spectacular. There is a beautiful kitchen and living area. This is five star

The location was great, the host was friendly and helpful. The available drinks were well priced and there were biscuits and sweets to have with our coffee.

The narrow and steep stairs down to the bathroom were painted black and not easy to see at night. Better lighting at the top of the stairs might have been helpful.

De ligging en de bijzonder ruime kamer. Ook werden we zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door de gastvrouw.

Het was wel echt ontzettend warm binnen.

Veldig fornøyd med alt. Et sjarmerende fint innredet rom med stort fint bad. Rommet lå i et stille og rolig strøk bare en liten spasertur fra sentrum. Det er også en fin liten bakgård nede i 1.etasjen. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake igjen❤️

Har ingenting å klage på. Det var ikke mulighet for frokost de dagene vi var der siden eier var borte, men det ligger mange koselige kaféer i nærheten så det var ikke et stort problem.

It was such a great experience staying at Absolute Bruges. Everything was so clean, well-designed, comfortable, and Michèle was the kindest person. If I go back to Bruges, I won't have any doubt about staying with them again. And the location was perfect.

Sehr kleines Bad, reicht aber.

Ho amato tutto! Arredamento, particolari della stanza, la struttura in generale. Posizione ottima. La gentilezza della proprietaria impagabile! Non c’era nulla lasciato al caso! Dovessi tornare a Bruges alloggerei senz’altro di nuovo qui.

De nette kamer en badkamer, en het heerlijke ontbijt.

De badkamer lag op een halve verdieping lager, heel charmant maar wel iets om rekening mee te houden. De houten vloeren van/en het oude pand zijn best gehorig.

The accommodation is located on the edge of Bruges’ old city, in a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. No need to use the bus if you enjoy walking.The bed was very comfortable, making our stay especially restful.

The space itself was nice enough and generally clean, but the layout was inconvenient. You had to take the stairs down to the bathroom, which wasn’t mentioned beforehand. It's something that could be dangerous especially when using the bathroom at night.

Die Gastgeberin Michèle ist super freundlich. Das Frühstück sehr lecker und reichhaltig.

Mooie, ruime slaapkamer. Koffie en thee vrij te nemen. Heel goede locatie dichtbij de kerstmarktjes en het centrum. Vriendelijke gastvrouw.

Kleine badkamer. Geen conditioner aanwezig (enkel zeepje en shampoo), stond anders aangegeven op de foto's. Oppassen met het tapijtje op de vloer, is heel glad.

Alojamiento muy cuidado y bonito. Muy buena atención y cerca del centro. Tienes café y té gratuito.

Lovely room with furnishings that fitted the slightly old world style. Massive and comfortable bed. Modern bathroom fittings with excellent shower and Rituals toiletries a plus. More bonus points for the free bottles of water in the room, something often overlooked, and though I didn’t take advantage, free tea and coffee in the lounge area. Will definitely stay again on next trip to Brugge.

If I’m being really picky, I slipped on the rugs on the hard wood floor a couple of times, but a very minor point that didn’t take away from my stay.

We loved our stay and would really recommend it. The location is amazing just a short walk to the main squares. The bed was huge. We went in the morning to Michelle’s husband bakery which she kindly booked for us. Again we would recommend as we had a fantastic experience.

If I was to be picky it would have been nice to have another pillow. I forgot to ask but I’m Sure this would not have been a problem had I.

Property was ideal for what we wanted. Ideal location, which enabled you to have a little walk to the main areas and attractions and let you find other things on the way.

One negative with the property for us was the steep stairs going down to the shower room/toilet. For younger people this wouldn't be an issue but for my wife who has bad knees this was quite a challenge getting down and up them. If we had been informed about this before booking we would have chosen a different room but in the same building. Also possibly facilities in the room to make tea/coffee would be a plus.This is just our personal opinion but other than that it was perfect.

Grande chambre lumineuse, agencement atipic pour la salle de bain qui est grande ,très propre dans une rue calme a côté du centre on reviendra avec plaisir, Michèle très avenante et disponible.

Il manque juste une petite bouilloire avec quelques tasses dans la chambre le reste tout étais parfait.

Stanza bellissima, pulita e struttura accogliente. L’host super gentile e simpatica! Ci ha dato molti consigli su cosa vedere e in quali ristoranti andare. Letto comodo, bagno piccolo ma con tutte le fornitura principali, compreso il phon. Tutto benissimo

De stad Brugge is geweldig. De kamer was erg groot, schoon en grote bedden. Wel erg gehorig maar dat komt door de houten vloeren. Leuke gezamelijke woonkamer met alle voorzieningen. Miste alleen een lange spiegel op de kamer 😉 maar dat maakt het niet minder goed uiteraard. Bedankt voor de fijne overnachting.

Niet echt iets veel extreem tegen. Als klein min puntje dat het wat gehorig is. Maar de nacht was erg rustig.

Whoever designed that bathroom has never put on make up. Very dim lights and hardly any space to store anything. The floors are wooden and extremely slippery. But these are minor issues. The rooms are fantastic.

La struttura è su due piani con solo 2 stanze molto ampie, arredate con gusto e con letti comodissimi; particolarità della n. 1 è l'enorme bagno finestrato e con una doccia di dimensioni extra, cui si accede tramite una scala un pò ripida e con possibilità di una seconda porta che dà sul pianerottolo di mezzo; al piano terra c'è un grande soggiorno con macchina per il caffè e televisore, oltre a un cortile privato ed un bagnetto. Non c'è parcheggio privato, occorre cercare posto sulla strada, a pagamento. La colazione può essere portata in struttura dalla proprietà, in alternativa ci sono molte caffetterie in zona o, a 20 minuti di strada, la loro pasticceria che offre le colazioni in un cortile interno.

The properly was clean and comfortable. Location couldn’t be better, in walking distance of everything you’d want to see/do in the city. Loved the courtyard, spent time out there every evening. The owner is lovely and super knowledgeable about the city!

The only thing I think could be improved is by adding a mini fridge to the room. Not a huge issue as there is a fridge in the dining room so we stored a couple drinks in there with a note on top saying they belonged to us but would’ve been nice to have a fridge on hand in the room. Other than that, the accommodation was perfect!!

Nice room in a good location not far from the city centre. The host was very helpful in greeting us when we checked in and giving us recommendations for Bruges (and we also got a welcome drink!). A bus from the train station passes very close by, so that was a convenient way to get to the apartment (otherwise it would be close to 30 mins walk). The bathroom was very nice and spacious too - but it was down some steep steps in the room, so even though it was fine for us, if mobility is an issue that might be worth raising before check in. We were also welcome to leave our bags after check out, and pick them up again after our day of sightseeing.

Ligging is zeer centraal, ruime kamer.

Een Bed & Breakfast zonder Breakfast heb ik nog nooit meegemaakt. Bij de foto's van deze locatie staan wel foto's van een ruim ontbijt maar die zijn uit een verleden en dus misleidend. Niettegenstaande hebben we in het centrum van Brugge van een lekker ontbijt genoten. Reserveren is noodzakelijk.

Really beautiful accommodations right in the heart of Bruges. Super walkable to the entire city. The host was also incredibly friendly and accommodating.

The room was beautiful and had a very comfortable bed, the shower was also a highlight! A free beer was a surprise bonus.

Very spacious and fashionable with an excellent bed. The host met us and was very helpful.

Other guests above us were very loud after midnight and took several hours to calm down and go to sleep.

Everything was perfect! Beautiful, comfortable, huge but cosy room in the center of Bruges. The host was very nice, told us a lot about Bruges, recommended places to go. It was great.

The property is beautiful and in a great location with nice restaurants. The room was lovely and host is so friendly with great recommendations of activities and places to eat.

There was quite a bit of noise from other guests moving around in their rooms due to it being an old building which can be quite loud.

The wifi didn’t seem to work. It connected but nothing seemed to load consistently.

Michèle was a brilliant host. She was very good at communicating when the room was available so that we could check-in slightly earlier, as we were lucky that the previous guests left early in the morning. She explained some very important details about Bruges and how busy it would be, identifying important locations for us to visit and things for us to do. She went out of her way to get us information about lace and where to find more authentic belgian made pieces. The welcome drink was lovely and appreciated, and we were overwhelmed by the luxury of the room. All-in-all we had a wonderful time in part due to Michèle's advice for which we are very grateful.

Having to pay the tourist tax in cash was a bit inconvenient, as we had left it until the last minute to pay and the best cashpoint we could find was in the centre and we were rushing to get going. The only other issue was the blinds, which didn't block out the light from the street lamps particularly well.

This was an adorable little place with a comfy bed, modern bathroom, and friendly host. We really enjoyed our time in this cozy place and would definitely stay here again. 100% recommend.

The property and location is exactly as described. Lovely property, good size rooms, very tastefully decorated and modern, good bathroom / shower. Lounge / breakfast area all very nice with coffee / drink facilities and honesty bar - the welcome drink was very welcome! Great / quiet location but within 5 minutes of the main central Bruges area. Owner very accommodating and available for advice during our stay, check instructions very easy to follow. Many thanks, highly recommended for a short stay in Bruges.

Location was amazing, very handy to central Bruges and the main squares (5-10 min walk). Supermarket close by. Host was lovely and stayed late to let me in as I was running late (normally if arriving after hours she would provide info for remote check in). She also took time to provide a map and recommend areas of city to explore. Very spacious room and nicely designed. All amenities included - besides breakfast although that was because I stayed on a Sunday night. Bed big and comfy. Fast WiFi included. Would highly highly recommend coming to stay here!

Not a complaint but a suggestion - would be good if the tourist tax could be included in booking costs, so as to remove the job of having to get cash out from a store while there. Only a minor thing!

Our room ( room #1) had about 8 steps down to enter the bathroom. This was okay, but a bit tricky to navigate in the middle of the night.

We needed a one-night sleepover in Bruges, and this B&B was perfectly convenient for our stay. The location was ideal, making our short visit very easy. Michèle was incredibly helpful, ensuring we had a smooth and enjoyable experience. The B&B had everything necessary to make our stay comfortable, providing a hassle-free and cozy environment. While some reviews mentioned the squeaky floors, we felt they only added to the charm and character of this beautiful old house, making the experience even more authentic and memorable.

We stayed in a very authentic building. Michèle makes us feel comfortable. She helped us with recommendations. The communication was fast. The location is excellent.

This boutique B&B is gorgeous - a beautifully refurbished 17th century building that absolutely oozes with charm. The whole place was very tastefully decorated and our room was so comfortable that we didn't really want to leave it! Everything was spotlessly clean. The welcome drink was also a nice touch on arrival - it was a hot day so we throughly enjoyed our cold drinks on the goreous little patio terrace. Our lovely hosts Michèle and Stefaan were so warm and welcoming, and very helpful. They have created a wonderful oasis of calm just outside the busy centre of Bruges - the location is perfect for exploring the city (quiet enough that it is peaceful, but only 10 minutes walk from the centre of all the main tourist attractions). We would definitely go back and it was so comfortable that we would stay longer next time. Thanks again to our wonderful hosts!

Super spacious room and so clean!! We would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat! The host made contacting her and checking in so easy!! The bed was really comfortable and the shower is excellent and has gorgeous Rituals products!! The welcome drink was an especially lovely touch and such a welcome surprise!! Thank you so much!! We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful house. Everything was perfect and we would love to return here. It is so close to the centre but on a peaceful road. The facilities are top notch and there is the bonus of underground parking close by.

The location was perfect in the quieter end of Bruges but just moments walk to all the main sites, the size of the room, the bed, the decor and the host was so approachable and friendly! Plus the very cool bathroom downstairs!

Nothing - if I had to pick something the hairdryer was a bit weak but that is just being picky!

We had only one day to spend in Bruges, and we regret not planning for at least one more day to fully enjoy this charming city and our wonderful accommodation. Our stay at this bed and breakfast was exceptional in every way. The room was spacious, extremely clean, and very comfortable. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily walk to all the attractions we wanted to see. Michele, our host, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. She offered excellent dining advice and provided a map of the city, marking off all the places of interest. One delightful touch was the complimentary drink offered during our stay. My husband and I chose to try one of the local Belgian beers, which was a fantastic experience. The common area was very inviting, although we didn't have the opportunity to enjoy it or the breakfast options due to our early departure. Coffee and tea were complimentary and available in the common area, which is a nice touch.
