B&B Haussener

Very pleasant hosts Maya and Martin with a lovely room and an even better view

My stay at B&B Haussener was truly exceptional. Everything was perfect from start to finish, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. A special thanks to the hosts, Maya and Martin, who were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. Their hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. They also have a lovely cat named Diago, which made the experience even more charming. The room was very comfortable, clean, and cozy, and the view overlooking Lake Thun was absolutely stunning and unforgettable. I genuinely loved staying in this beautiful place and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Absolutely nothing – everything was wonderful!

One of the best places to stay!! I travelled with my daughter. We enjoyed our stay at Maya's place a lot! It's so cozy and with a great view on the lake! The beds are comfortable, the room and the bathroom are very nice and very clean. And there is such a great terrace too! I recommend it with all my heart!

L’emplacement

It was a great stay. Parking the room size the hospitality of the hosts etc. Everything was well thought. Thanks.

The only thing could have been improved was the breakfast. The more natural ingredients and bakery could have made it remarkable.

Nothing, really bad family.

Privacy is zero, there is public pathway between the room and bathroom everyone can use it.

B&B is a private room on a different floor within a lovely Swiss house. the family is very welcoming and the views from the balcony are breathtaking.

nothing specific

Alles wunderbar, eine 12 von 10 Punkten. Jeder Zeit wieder❤️🇨🇭😎✌️ LG Carsten

Kostenloser Parkplatz. Blick über den Thunersee

All

Incredible magical views. Loved sunset on the balcony. Pristine room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Sitting area. Outside bbq (wood and utensils graciously supplied and washed up for us) and outdoor table. Plates, cutely and napkins supplied. We ate the best dinners here because of the bbq. We bought a salad from grocery store along with sausage, mushrooms and zucchini that we bbqed. Everyone said Switzerland was incredibly expensive for food but because of the breakfast and bbq dinner, we ate well and inexpensively. Home cooked breakfast with omelette and bacon, fresh bread, cereals, good coffee, apples, yoghurt. Wonderful, kind and helpful host who did everything to make our stay so much better. Perfect b&b.

This B&B is a gem! The house is beautiful, spotless, and in a perfect location — peaceful but close to everything. What made our stay unforgettable were the hosts: Maya and Martin. Their warmth, attention to detail, and excellent service made us feel truly welcome. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and every day started with a smile. Highly recommended — we can’t wait to return!

Everything is perfect. The host Maya is very nice and helpful. The view is excellent! The room is clean and comfortable and I like all the room settings.

Nothing. But maybe for those who is not driving, this place is a little bit inconvenient.

A wonderful 5-star stay! Maya and Martin are incredibly welcoming and do everything to make guests feel at home. It’s a cosy, family-like atmosphere, with plenty of privacy. We truly felt welcomed and highly recommend this place!

Maya and Martin are so kind! We had a great time at their wonderful place. Everything was just perfect!

Very beautiful view and silence place.

Bed was too low and pillow also too soft.

GREAT LOCATION' ALL NEEDED FACILITIES, VERY GOOD BREAKFAST AND GREAT OWNERS. GAVE US GOOD TRAVEL IDEAS.

Amazing place and very welcoming

Location, view, friendliness

Absolutely amazing! The views are incredible. Owners are so nice and helpful. Really good location. Highly recommended!

Yeah really i like its very quite place

Lovely room with an amazing view of the lake and mountain. Comes with private balcony and patio. Amazing friendly hosts that made breakfast for us. Free parking is a stone's throw away. Just a small note that the bathroom is not en suite.

Nothing.

Great window view room and great host. The breakfast was wonderful.

Excellent and amazing stay

We liked every thing

What an amazing stay we have had in this beautiful place. Martin and Maya where warm, hospitable, and out lots of through into our stay. We are extremely glad that we booked this place for our stay in Switzerland. We have had access to skiing opportunities via a short train ride, and the ‘Top of Europe’ can also be reached like this also. If you are thinking of coming to Switzerland, please book this place!

Nothing! Everything was amazing.

The view is beautiful. Maya and Martin, The owner was very nice

None

Everything! The house has the most outstanding view. Room with view...private entrance, perfect located so you can move around Swiss. Maya,The hostess is the best! She treated me and my wife as part of the family.so attentive to the little details. she is super polite, communicative Breakfast any hour that will fit your schedule.

Nothing!!!

- The owners are extremely helpful, always ready to provide support, and create an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. - The location is amazing, located on a mountain with well-maintained roads and very easily accessible by car. - There are outdoor seating areas that offer beautiful views of the lake and surrounding the countryside. - Free parking is available, and it's lovely to have cows nearby in the parking area. - The breakfast is well served and provides various options to choose from. - The bathroom is wide and equipped with all the necessary facilities.

While the bathroom is not directly connected to the room and has a corridor in between, we still enjoyed good privacy. In fact, this setup has its own advantages.

This place is wonderful! The view, the terrace, the nicely decorated and clean bedroom. Maya and Martin are very kind and welcoming hosts, they provided us useful information for our hike. Really made us feel like home!

Breathtaking view! Super helpful host! Very clean!

We loved our stay with Maya. The place is amazing and Maya's breakfast was delicious. We hope to come back!!

B&B Haussener is an outstanding location. They make you feel like a part of the family. There are SO many things they do to make your stay comfortable and they really go above and beyond what other B&B's do. One example of this is when we would return at the end of the day of hiking the mountain trails there would be votive candles in the bathroom to welcome you home and create a relaxing homey atmosphere. I HIGHLY recommend this property.

The ONLY down side I can think of for some travelers is that it is not walking distance from the train station so you need a car to get to this property.

Everything was amazing!! The room, the view of the balcony, the host Maya... Everything was great!

Nothing

By far the best B&B experience I’ve had in my life. Maya is the sweetest, most generous, and respectful host, who listen to your travel stories, will share hers if you welcome them, and bend over backwards to ensure you have the most memorable stay. Her family match her radiance. We could not have had a better visit to Interlaken, and much of it was thanks to her!

Absolutely nothing - it is perfect.

My husband and I couldn't have hoped for a more relaxing stay with Maya! We woke to a delicious home cooked breakfast and hot coffee each morning with beautiful sweeping views of lake Thun and Spiez. We had access to a balcony that we sat out on and enjoyed each morning and sunsets each night! The mattress and bedding was extremely comfortable too! The area is extremely easy to navigate with public transport, you also have countless day trips and hikes that you can access from the doorstep. Maya is such an incredibly thoughtful person and went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. We hope to return to the Interlaken area one day and highly recommend B&B Haussener. Our only regret is not staying longer! Thank you Maya :)

Nothing! Our stay was fantastic!

Everything was perfect! The hospitality was exceptional. Maya and Martin are truly best hosts ever, they have thought of details to make your stay comfy and exceptional. they are always ready to help and give info on nearby tourist places. Having tea on the terrace and enjoy the view of lake Thun was really breath taking. From there you can visit many places such as Harder kulm and see the overwhelming view of Interlaken or take a cruise on lake Thun. The place really gives you unforgettable memories! :)

Nothing to unlike

Maya was an amazing host. They had amazing breakfast. Maya also recommended us local hiking spots we wouldn't be able to find otherwise. The stay is in a scenic spot overlooking Lake Thun. A cosy place. Perfect location away from the business with access to all the lovely places in Switzerland.

The lake, the mountains, the entire view... everything is amazing. It's a great choice to relax, chill, for hiking, for walks, for nature lovers or if you need somewhere quiet and intimate. The bedroom, bathroom and the views are exactly as in pictures. You can from the first moments see that every detail of the room and the terrace (the entire location) are built with love, care and amazing taste. A homely atmosphere ❤️ The hosts, Maya and Martin, have great tips for you and ideas where to go and what to visit.

The host is a lovely woman, she was very friendly and helped with our trip plan, gave reccomendations and was kin to answer all our questions. The breakfest was tasty and good. The view is amazing from the place and there are also bunnies near the house...and inside is a lovely cat too

Nothing everything was great

Maia and her family are marvelous hosts. They are always ready to provide you more than you may need. Thanks a lot Maya and Martin.

Two small sugestions: for people of our age (in the 70's) the bed could be higher and outdoor stair could be safier with handrails.

Maya, Martin and their family are the best hosts I've had in a long time. They made me feel just at home every day. The breakfast was spectacular, the view, the private terrace, the comfy bedroom, the super fast wifi, the cleanliness. I had a cough some days and Maya offered medicine... and that was just one example of the many things she and her family did during my stay. Couldn't recommend this place more. Also Krattigen is lovely and a short bus ride away from Spiez, which is connected by train to all the main attractions.

Everything (cozy atmosphere, breakfast, etc.)

Nothing

The guesthouse is very well situated. There is only one room but it shows an amazing view on the lake. Very comfortable room. Good breakfast. The couple is very nice.

More delicatessen for breakfast would be a plus.
