Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich, reichhaltig und lecker. Das Haus und die Zimmer waren sehr urig und gemütlich. Der Gastgeber war nett. Die Lage etwas außerhalb der Altstadt/Zentrum aber dadurch ruhig (zu Fuß ca. 20 min). Alles war sauber und ordentlich.

Was a bit difficult to locate with our GPS. Maybe needs a clear sign at the entrance?

The room was very spacious with a walk-in closet and a bathroom with plenty of amenities. Don't miss the breakfast!! Er was geen ov in de buurt, maar de taxi was snel geregeld en voor € 10 kwamen we vlot in de stad.

Location is a good 40 minutes walk from Ennis .. not 20 as indicated by the owners.. There was no cooked breakfast option .. just cereal, fruit and yogurt.. very unusual for an Irish guesthouse.. Also as the standing lady has to leave and lock up we had to have breakfast which we booked for 9.30 and get out by 10.30

We had a light meal the night we arrived and Jerry set up the table for us which we appreciated. He was the perfect host!

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026Gerry was a great host and couldn’t do enough for us, offering us tips on where to visit and eat in the town. Continental breakfast was delicious with fruit, soda bread and freshly baked scones. Room was large and comfortable 20 minute walk into town was perfect for us !
I don’t think there was anything that would put us off coming again, Gerry was a great host and loooking forward to staying again in the future !

Gerry and Mary were fantastic hosts - Mary even dropped us off into central Ennis. The room we had was perfect - clean and tidy. The beds were very comfy. The breakfast was superb - not cooked but perfect for us. The table setting was great. Would definitely stay here again.
