We took a bus to Dingle, and chose Murphy's Pub mainly because of its reviews and how close it is to the bus stop and the pier (it's also close to the supermarket and is basically at the town centre). The walk up the city, looking over the harbour, and looping over to the shoreline is great, and we met some really friendly people around here (including a father and son who told us that that the town has 2,000 people and 52 pubs). In two weeks in Ireland, this was the only place we couldn't check in early. But that's okay. Murphy's is a great choice.

Quiet room above the bar. Staff were exceptional.

The location was really exceptional: directly in the middle of everything we wanted to visit. The room was quite large, the beds comfortable, and the shower excellent. Our windows opened out to the front of the pub, but despite that, street noise was only an issue when they were left open. The breakfast was excellent, as was dinner in the pub the night of our stay.

Parking was fairly easy, though the small gravel road leading to the parking lot can be an adventure. There was music in the pub the night we stayed, which was very nice, but also a little loud once we were back in our room. But it did not go very late, so it wasn't a problem.

Loved staying here. A typical Irish pub with good food, great breakfast and very friendly staff. Lovely room overlooking the main street. Secure parking at the rear.

We were up quite a few stairs with no lift so luggiing luggage up was not much fun.

Eine tolle Unterkunft mit absolutem Spitzen-Personal. Schöne, saubere und gemütliche Zimmer, Top Essen im Pub. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Excellent location, quiet despite being above the pub, the pub had good food. Overall it was a great experience and we would stay here again for sure!

Fantastic location and brilliant breakfast

We stayed in 11 places in Ireland on our road trip and this was one of the more pricey ones. No live music despite advertised as so.

Great location in the town. The room was simple but clean and the breakfast was very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

On a couple of occasions no water came out of the taps! It came back after a short while but wasn’t great timing when soaped up in the shower!

When sitting out front of location we were told to n Buy a drink or remove our selves from the table,instead of offering to get us a drink. I FOUND THIS QUITE RUDE. IF THE YOUNG MAN WOULD HAVE ASKED US IF WE WOULD HAVE LIKED A DRINK, WE WOULD HAVE BEN HAPPY TO HAVE ONE BUT I STEAD HE SAID THAT HE ONLY HAD TWO TABLES OUT FRONT AND TO COME INSIDE AND GET A DRINK OR VACCAT THE TABLE. I EXPLAINED THAT WE WERE GUEST, BUT THAT DID NOT SEEM TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. I DID NOT SPEED A SINGLE ERUO IN THAT ESTABLISHMENT THE ENTERI WEEK THAT WE WERE THERE. I WOULD NOT EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ENYONE., AND I WILL add my comments to all websites I can find.

Great location and very large rooms! Lovely staff.

Be aware that this is not an accessible property. Luckily i’m a young person that can go up and down stairs with luggage, but there is no lift. Bathrooms were tiny with no space to put any toiletries in shower. I think I may have had an allergic reaction to the material or detergent they use for pillows & blankets.

The narrow stairs were tough to navigate with older folks.

Fabulous location, staff were lovely especially Grainne at breakfast. Property were very accommodating with us needing to check in a little early and it made our day significantly less stressful. Parking was also a huge bonus

Unfortunately the street noise was a drawback but that’s life! Maybe request a rear facing room if you are sensitive to noise

Location is ideal, right at the harbor & in the middle of town. Live music in the late evening which was fun & then a quick walk upstairs to sleep. Breakfast was served in the pub with a wide variety of choices. Great staff.

Enjoyed our stay at Murphy's after a 'Rocky' start! Rooms are clean & comfy, great shower, beds give a good night's sleep. The breakfasts & we had evening meals too are amazing, delicious food & plenty of it. Served with a happy smile & staff very attentive. The pub is very lively in the evenings, but did not disturb, as our room 7 was at the back, near tge car park, which was accessible down 4 steps, theough a back door. A great stay, despite the start. We have yet to find out if our car is damaged!

The route into the car park is unadopted & uncared for. Our car is quite low to the ground & we scrapped the underside on one side of the car on a raised area that needs levelling urgently!! The Landlord of Murphys was very apologetic, but said he has no control over the area. Pillows were a bit flat & very thin towels.

Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, dafür natürlich auch nicht so leise. Wenn man sich darauf einstellt, hat man aber eine tolle Zeit! Super Frühstück mit veganen Alternativen!

Location close to activities. Though a bit noise due to music downstairs, music stopped before midnight, so it was ok for me.

Very clean, comfortable and lovely rooms. Great bar and location. Parking great.

B&B was great but night we stayed no entertainment. Surprised as web site said nightly entertainment. So bit disappointing in that regard.

Staff were absolutely gorgeous - warm, friendly and courteous. From the minute we walked in the door, everything was taken care of. The beds were super comfortable and the room was spotless. Breakfast was a highlight and we were so full we didn’t have lunch afterwards!

Had a couple nights stay and it was wonderful. We had a large room with plenty of space. The breakfast is wonderful and the location right on the water front. Couldn't ask for much better. Also the parking out the back is a bonus due to Dingle being so busy

Η καλύτερη διαμονή που κάναμε σε όλο το road trip μας στην Ιρλανδία! Μείναμε πραγματικά πάρα πολύ ικανοποιημένοι από το Murphy’s Pub Bed and breakfast στο Dingle. Το δωμάτιο ήταν εξαιρετικό, πεντακάθαρο και πολύ όμορφα και σύγχρονα διακοσμημένο. Ήταν άνετο και προσεγμένο σε κάθε λεπτομέρεια. Επίσης, το φαγητό στην pub ήταν εξαιρετικό, ενώ και το πρωινό ήταν πραγματικά πολύ καλό. Το προσωπικό και η εξυπηρέτηση ήταν άψογα. Όλοι ήταν πολύ ευγενικοί και εξυπηρετικοί και συνολικά νιώσαμε ότι η διαμονή μας ήταν πραγματικά ξεχωριστή. Χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη, θα μέναμε ξανά εκεί και το προτείνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα!

Clean and location

The parking was tight, not easy to get in and out of. The WiFi code didn’t work. Our bedroom was hot with only one window able to open.

Our favorite on a 2 week trip - location is prime, food is great, family room is HUGE and beds amazingly comfortable. Debby Murphy is great! Checking in at the pub and brought upstairs immediately was amazing.

Beste Lage, zentraler geht es kaum. Parkplatz vorhanden, sehr gutes Frühstück. Sauber. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Unser Zimmer lag genau über dem Gastraum und das Fenster ging zur sehr belebten Straße raus, entsprechend war es recht laut. Dafür ist man aber mittendrin und man muss sich eben darauf einstellen, wenn man eine Unterkunft über einem Pub bucht.

Murphy’s was such a great place to stay. Surprisingly quiet, dedicated parking (which was invaluable in Dinlge), really good breakfast, and such helpful and kind staff. Truly one of our very favorite stays in Ireland. Location can’t be beat.

Sfeerrijke pub,met live muziek Vriendelijk personeel en klanten. Ontbijt ruim,lekker en verse producten. Leuk te bezichtigen stadje. Private parking,was voor onze motorfiets toch geruststellend!

Location, location, location. Right in the middle of town. Lots going on but quiet in the room. The room was smallish but perfectly adequate and very clean and modern. Breakfast was excellent. Really worth the money. Also great there was parking.

Murphy's is close to everything and so once you park your car - all you need is your sneakers! Dingle is a lovely seaside town with great shops and food. Murphy's has live music and it wraps up pretty early so its impacts are minimal. We were in a room that was very quiet. Parking was available and secure which is great as parking can be challenging. Breakfast was great and the servers were very attentive. Just a really good place to stay to enjoy Dingle.

This spot was very clean and updated, so comfortable for our stay!

Road up to the car park could have been a lot better

Wunderschön am Hafen gelegen, wenige Meter zur Innenstadt. Frühstück und Mittagessen kann man nur empfehlen, gemütlich im Pub sitzen und die Menschen auf sich wirken lassen. Super ist der private Parkplatz und die Größe der Zimmer. Ein großer Dank geht an die Dame vom Frühstücksservice für den Tip mit der Shannon Fähre. 😊

Man muss sich bewusst sein das man über einem Pub schläft, samstags war das kaum möglich 😉

We were a bit put off by the very pub-y feel of the downstairs but this wasn’t reflected in the rooms.

Perfect location, not even loud at night. Good atmosphere, very friendly and generous hosts at breakfast time (in fact our favourite breakfast for our whole trip because of the choice and personalisation). Had everything we needed.
