Reviewed Aug 27, 2025Excellent séjour avec des hôtes très attentifs et prévenants. Le petit déjeuner était Excellent également et a été l'occasion d'échanges avec Mr SMITH qui nous a fait découvrir l'environnement. Nous conseillons ce lieu pour un court ou long séjour.

Reviewed May 7, 2025The Hillview House was well situated for us to explore the Cootehill. The hosts were very nice and enjoyed their company. We had an excellent Irish breakfast. The room was very comfortable and served all our needs. We highly recommend Hillview house.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2023Eileen and Micheal could not do enough for us, from running us to a local venue for a wedding we were attending to making toast & cheese with tea because we arrived very late. What a smashing couple. Nothing was too much trouble. Beds were comfy. Fry up in the morning was lush & the home made bread with Irish butter mmmmm put on a few pounds!
There was nothing at all that we didn't like. It was perfect.

Reviewed Feb 24, 2023Quiet peaceful location with south facing bedroom window for nice sunshine. They kindly turned the heating on in my room as soon as they heard me get up.
I had to dust the room when I arrived, and the bathroom floor had bits on it, Including a fingernail. The bed fills the entire room. No space for anything. I think I paid for a double deluxe room but didn’t get that room when I arrived. Wifi is 50% non-existent, and only one bar of 3G Intermittently. A big problem when you’re trying to work online. The house is huge and needs router boosters in each section. No tv in room. My room was double the price it should’ve been.
