Unfortunately I could not enjoy the stay in Munnar due to inordinate delay by choosing the Guruvayoor Express as my travel option as it was delayed by 6.30 hours.Only I could reach the room by 6.30 pm only and just had a good night sleep and vocated the room by 11.00 am.But they provided all requirements in the short time

Facilities are almost non-existent, and the property feels quite old. Reaching the room requires climbing down several steps, which can be difficult for elderly people or anyone with mobility issues. The only major advantage is its proximity to the city. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I was not satisfied with the stay.i did like about the house it was too creek and old . dont book this hotel when come across about the stay

Good location within the market area. The owners shop is attached so that you can purchase materials easily. The rooms were near and clean. Easy check-in.

This was perhaps the best value stay we had in South India! It's a great location so close to Munnar town, but just up the hill so it's quiet and peaceful. There were many rickshaws conveniently parked nearby within few min walk from Landy Queen. Despite the tourism, Munnar town is bustling with local life and interesting to walk around, with many local restaurants and tea shops. The bus stand is 5 min walk away, where we arrived from Alleppey, and also caught a bus to Theni. The room was generously spacious, with a verandah and view out over the valley. The wifi and AC worked well. The host Roney, was so friendly and welcoming, and very accommodating, providing us bottles of drinking water whenever we asked, allowing us a late check out, and even ironing a shirt for us! He provided local recommendations, and on asking him, would let us know what expected rickshaw prices were to where we wanted to go. I would recommend this stay for anyone wanting a comfortable stay close to Munnar town!

Très bon accueil, tout le monde est souriant et attentionné. L'hôtel très bien situé, ils donnent de très bons conseils sur les activités et restaurants et je n'ai pas été déçue. Grâce à eux j'ai pu faire une balade dans les plantation de thé, c'était magique. Je garderai un très bon souvenir de ce séjour, de leur gentillesse, un grand merci.

Crowded locality, bare minimum facilities, accessibility for elderly and wheelchair dependent people. Balcony room had no views, which one can boast! Generally backside view of other buildings

The hotel manager was really accomodating, he gave us local tips and organising a tuktuk tour for a great price.

Clean and everything layed out well in the room. Best value I have had on my travels.

Proche du centre de Munnar nous sommes allés à pied au musée du Thé. Pratique pour prendre nos repas strret food en ville et profiter de l ambiance de cette petite ville indienne. Nos hôtes ont été très agréables et soucieux de nous rendre service avec beaucoup de gentillesse.

Je n’ai pas apprécié être au centre ville de Munnar mais c’est personnel.

L’accueil, la gentillesse, le service. Ça sent bon, c’est très propre, la vue depuis la terrasse est sympa. La randonnée dans les chemins de tea. Bonne recommandation des restaurants. Parfait vraiment parfait !

L'emplacement est parfait. Le logement est situé au calme, à côté de restaurants et non loin du centre à pieds. La chambre est propre. Il y a une bouilloire pour se faire un thé. Le propriétaire est accueillant et nous a donné des conseils. A notre demande, il nous a organisé notre journée et notre retour à notre prochaine destination. Je recommande vivement.

The place was basic but nice in a very good location. The staff was exceptional, there was really nothing that they would not do for us. Even dropped us at a magical spot to see the tea fields. Highly recommend this place

J’ai beaucoup apprécié l’accueil et le personnel, très serviables. J’ai pu faire ma lessive sur place et reçu d’excellentes recommandations de restaurants, toutes testées et approuvées. L’établissement est un très bon pied-à-terre pour visiter les plantations de thé, situé en hauteur dans un cadre paisible et relativement calme. La chambre était spacieuse et la literie confortable.

En revanche, la salle de bain est assez simple et le débit de la douche un peu faible. La chambre est également assez humide, avec peu de lumière et de chaleur en journée, ce qui rend parfois les draps un peu humides la nuit.

Tout, nous avons tout aimé : l’emplacement, les chambres spacieuses et vraiment nickel, propres, confortables, au calme. Et la gentillesse du propriétaire au sourire éclatant et à l’efficacité immédiate pour la moindre demande.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cet établissement. Le personnel était très accueillant, gentil et très aidant. On nous a aidé à organiser un trekking dans les champs de thé. Nous avions prévu nous-mêmes des activités l'après-midi (d'après les conseils de notre hôte) mais notre hôte était prêt à nous aider à en mettre en place également, si besoin. L'emplacement était très bien : à la fois au centre de la ville mais au calme. Les recommendations de restaurants était aussi très bonnes. Nous étions 2 voyageuses et nous sommes senties en parfaite sécurité. Merci beaucoup, nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Pour notre premier séjour à Munnar, nous avons été ravi de loger dans cet hôtel pendant 3 jours. L'hôtel est situé en plein centre ville et il est très facile de rallier toutes les activités. De plus, le gérant est exceptionnellement serviable. Il nous a trouvé de belles activités à faire et à réserver lui-même les guides qu'ils connaissaient. Il nous a indiqué comment louer un scooter et changer de l'argent très facilement. Le rapport qualité-prix emplacement est imbattable à Munnar. Attention, pas de chauffage ni de climatisation dans les chambres mais le climat en février est tempéré. Nous conseillons cet hôtel pour les routards.

Le lieu est très bien placé, le personnel est très gentil et arrangeant. Le manager nous a conseillé une très bele balade à faire sur place. Le logement est grand, spacieux, confortable et silencieux.

Roonie, the owner is very friendly and helpful. He knows very well his region and provides the best tips for hiking in the tea plantations. His homestay is located in the heart of Munnar, where the city buzzing is and close to good restaurants.

Stanza pulita, abbastanza accogliente. Acqua calda disponibile in bagno ad ogni ora, viste le temperature di Munnar e visto che non tutte le strutture la forniscono è sicuramente un plus. Posizione appena fuori dal gran caos cittadino. Staff veloce e disponibile.

L'hotel estava molt bé. L'habitació estava molt neta i era molt còmode. Està molt ben situat, al centre de Munnar però també teníem vistes a la muntanya. Hem estat molt i molt bé, molt recomanable!

The host was so nice and helped us a lot ! He gave us an itinary to visit the tea plantations and helped us organise a trip to see the sunrise on kolukkumalai. Great advice also for restaurants ! We also did our laundry and it was spotless. A huge recommandation ! And a big contribution to Munnar being one of our favorite places

It was a bit cold

Excellent location. A no-frills hotel which is very comfortable, clean & well maintained. A lot of good eating joints around the property make it very convenient to step out and have your food.

My only reason for not rating it exceptional was the size of the TV which is very small, a remote which did not work and lack of enough entertainment options.

The person managing the property is very humble and supportive

Landy queen hotel is at the heart of the munnar town with many eateries nearby and walkable distance to munnar market as well. There is a small water stream coming from nearby hills which passes by the back side of hotel. That feeling is different. Rooms are well maintained and they provided us with hot water facility as well.

Room was extremely comfortable and clean, appreciate the kettle and complimentary tea/coffee packs to prepare yourself. Located very close to many supply shops and eateries, you will not have any issue finding what you need. Also close to main junctions for the bus and autos. Staff are helpful in suggesting places to eat and travel plans.

This room was beyond our expectations With all facilities. Hotel staff was very friendly and help us very well.

Very happy with our stay. Room was clean, wifi was good, location is very convenient too - near the centre but away from the noise. Roney was very helpful with organising scooter rental and jeep safari for us.
