The owners brother who as the Manager of this property was a kind gentleman who treated us so well. The other staff were also kind & very helpful . Would recommend this homestay

The double bed room I found to be a bit small but it was not an issue. Just a bit less space to keep bags if 4 people stay in that room

The fact that you couldn't have a comfortable shower because of the hot water even though the batteries were changed. Apart from that we had another problem that I'd rather not mention to not give a bad name to the business, although it was sorted for us at the moment I hope the owner solves this permanently

I have never come across a lodge as wonderful as this one among all the places I have stayed so far. The service, hospitality, cleanliness, and hygiene are all excellent—I am completely satisfied especially owner sir is very lovely person 😍😍😍

Dit was een bijzonder locatie, onze kamer was een soort grot. Ik had geboekt voor 3 personen. We kregen een twijfelaar en een kort 1 persoonsbed. Het was wat aan de krappe kant. Warm water kregen we niet aan de praat dus enkel een koude douche kunnen nemen

De koude douche. We waren in het regenseizoen dus na een zeiknatte dag hadden we behoefte aan een lekkere warme douche

J'ai beaucoup aimé l'originalité de l'architecture, c'est très cocooning. Tout le monde est charmant et on y mange merveilleusement bien. Le propriétaire fait tout son possible pour répondre aux demandes diverses (taxi, activités....) Je recommande vivement

A wonderful place to stay! It is very peaceful and feels like you're staying in the middle of a jungle, even though it's only 150 meters from the main city. There is no noise at all, making it the perfect place to relax. The food is excellent, delicious, and reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Pappachan Sir for his excellent support and guidance throughout my stay. I would definitely love to visit again. Highly recommended!

The manager took INR500 as commission just to arrange for a taxi to come and pick me up. He told me that it was an advanced payment and that it would b deducted in the driver's fare! It was his way of making some quick money.

Hezký naaranžovaný hotel i pokoj. Personál se o nás dobře staral, poradili, co navštívit a kam na východ slunce. Dobrá snídaně. Na pokoji minibar. Přijeli jsme autem a ocenili jsme možnost parkování v hotelu.

V koupelně tekla studená voda a celkově by koupelna zasloužila větší péči. Manželská postel byla pro dva malinká, ale mohli jsme spát každý na jiné posteli přes celou místnost :D

We had a lovely stay with Baiju and his team who was so welcoming and helpful to us. He has a great network of local businesses to help organise activities in/around Munnar. Dinner was delicious too.

Le Homestay est situé à 5 mn du Centre. Possibilité de manger le midi et le soir. Pas de bruit la nuit. Le propriétaire est à l’écoute de ses clients. Ils arrangent les activités à la journée, les trajets de taxi,…La nourriture est de qualité ! La terrasse est un point fort pour un logement en centre-ville. Tout est parfait.

Very well maintained property. Centrally located and close to good restaurants (like Gurubhavan). The host, Mr. Biju was very accommodating and welcoming. He personally takes care of every guest. The dinner at the property was awesome especially if you like home cooked piping hot food. I would definitely recommend that. Same was the breakfast which was covered under the room plan. They also arranged an auto for us (Mr. Augustine) who was very friendly and took us to all the places from morning till evening. I took a day's break after driving from Bangalore to Munnar. Hence, opted for auto the next day. Overall a very nice experience staying there. Stay was extremely comfortable.

Неожиданно отличный homestay. Персонал выше всяких похвал. Мы приехали из Кочи поздно ночью, около 3 ам, несмотря на такое время нас встретили по дороге, доехали до отеля и разместили. Комнаты со свежим ремонтом и в современном стиле. Чистота на 10/10. Очень оригинальное оформление, видно что вложено немало трудов. Завтраки очень хорошие. Если хозяева будут предлагать ужин - не отказывайтесь, не пожалеете.

Была странная проблема с водой какое то время, то кипяток, то холодная. Но похоже это было только у нас.

Lovely, quiet place away from the busy Munnar town centre. Clean room, towels and bathroom facilities. Tea, coffee and a kettle were provided. There were also some refreshments available for a cost. The owner is very polite, kind and gave us great information about what to do around Munnar. Breakfast was nice - combination of traditional breakfast, sweets, fruits and hot drinks (coffee/tea).

This place has great potential, however there are a few things that we believe could be better: - the king room where we stayed had mold on the ceiling and after being out for the day, when we entered the room we could notice a strong damp smell; fortunately, we don't have any respiratory issues, however it created some discomfort overall; the owner tried to be helpful and gave us some air freshener - music played from early morning (just after 8am) until late past 10pm; the music was chill vibes, a nice idea, but not when the speaker is attached to your room wall 😅. I would probably either delay the time and start the music later or move the speakers off the room walls. Overall, we had a nice stay in Munnar at S&B Dreams House; we would probably recommend the place with all mentioned above. Thank you

Das Zimmer war groß, individuell gestaltet wie die gesamte Anlage. Die Betreuung durch den Chef war ausgezeichnet. (Vorschläge und Organisation von Ausflügen, auch mit anderen Gästen). Dadurch war es einfach, mit anderen Gästen in Kontakt zu kommen.+++ Das Frühstück war gut, aber in der Auswahl ein wenig beschränkt.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, schade, dass es keinen Pool gab.

The location was very easy to access. While don't expect great scenery, the decorations and open seating area with the artificial garden were lovely. The staff were incredibly accommodating, and they even helped us celebrate our child's first birthday, arranging the party and decorations. Thank you Baiju, Sharanya, Anum, and all the welcoming staff!

It was quite loud in the morning on Sunday due to the church service but it is not the fault of the hotel. Artificial decorations look funny.

I had the most wonderful stay at S&B Dreams House. Honestly I couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate my birthday on my solo trip. I have never encountered such a warm hospitality as I did in this place. Baiju, the manager helped me with so many things from arranging sightseeing trips to getting me to a doctor to get medicine for my cold. Also all other staff members treated me with heart-warming kindness and each one of them made me feel at home. They brought me ginger tea when I was struggling with my cold and made me stomach-friendly food when my stomach was hurting. They even threw me a birthday party on my birthday. The location was perfect: near to the center but still far enough not to hear the loud city sounds. The room was so beautiful and clean as well as the common areas. This will be my home far away from home whenever I come back to Munnar <3

The staff is amazing. There is nothing too big or small for anyone to help you with. Biju helped us book transportation to our next destination, and Tuktuks around town. He was always there to help with any needs. All of the staff were sweet and seemed very happy to work there. Wonderful hospitality. The food is great. The restaurant is a nice space to enjoy breakfast in the morning. Portions are big, so order accordingly. We especially enjoyed the terrace. There is a shade area and sun area depending on preference. We enjoyed dinners, games, drinks and great conversations with the other guests on the terrace. We were originally concerned there wasn’t air conditioning, but this was the only place in India we didn’t need it. Our room was quite cool all the time. Beautiful room and adjoining bathroom. It was really nice being close to town center for touring or checking out restaurants. A 5 minute Tuktuk to the town center. But very quiet at the property.

The room smelled a little musty. Not a problem if you keep a window open.

Большой плюс - огромная веранда с мягким искусственным газоном и приятным видом на окрестности. Тихий зелёный район, который на самом деле оказывается почти центром города. Спокойный и уверенный в себе владелец гостиницы, готовый помочь делом и советом.

По проекту невозможно открыть окна, отсутствует даже форточка. Прохладный климат города, наверное, оправдывает отсутствие кондиционера (есть мощный потолочный вентилятор), но в условиях замкнутого помещения порой ощущается нехватка свежего воздуха.

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument merveilleux dans cet établissement. Le personnel est irréprochable, d’une grande gentillesse et toujours aux petits soins. Le dîner était délicieux et la chambre, décorée avec beaucoup de goût, offrait tout le confort dont nous avions besoin. L’emplacement est idéal : à deux pas du centre tout en restant au calme, ce qui est très appréciable. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour cet accueil chaleureux et cette bienveillance qui ont rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Nous recommandons sans hésitation !

Beautiful home stay. Our host Baiju and his wife were excellent hosts. Breakfast each day was good and their home cooked evening meals were delicious.

Last night marred by very loud music going beyond 10pm - however we were offered an apology.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Der Besitzer ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfreich bei allem. Die Unterkunft liegt gut. Das Frühstück war fantastisch. Auch das Abendessen war hervorragend. Es lohnt dich eines der teureren Zimmer zu nehmen.

This hotel has a quirky style. The management and staff were exceptional: polite and helpful. Rooms extremely clean, spacious and good attention to detail. Outside seating area for food and drinks, away from the noise of the town.

S&B Dreams House is a place that truly stands out from the crowd. The exterior styling—designed to look like a cave carved into the rock—is fantastic and gives the place a unique, magical atmosphere. Why we loved it: The Hosts: The brothers who run the place are amazing. Baiju was incredibly helpful, recommending and arranging several fun activities for us during our stay. Location: You couldn't ask for a better spot. It’s literally just a few steps away from the center of Munnar, yet it feels like its own private world. The Food: The kitchen serves excellent meals; we were very impressed by the quality and flavor. The combination of the unique design, great hospitality, and perfect location makes this a 10/10 stay. We already know we want to come back!

Très belle guesthouse proche du centre de Munnar, tout en étant au calme à l'écart des routes passantes. Large terrasse pour bénéficier de l'extérieur. Notre hôte est très chaleureux, à l'écoute de nos besoins et parle très bien anglais. Il nous a réservé pour le lendemain une demi-journée de trekking avec un guide. Chambre spacieuse, lumineuse et bien équipée. Très bon repas avec des plats savoureux. A notre demande nous avons pu bénéficier d'un cours de cuisine avec l'excellente cuisinière. Nous recommandons cet établissement sans réserve.

It was hard to get the moisture out of the rooms, which made washing clothes difficult as they would not dry, but Munnar is a misty and damp place and the staff was accommodating to our needs.
