Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Sehr nette Gastgeberin, mit Liebe zubereitetes Frühstücksbuffet. Die Pension liegt etwas abseits in einer Wohngegend, d.h. man hat kein Parkproblem, aber man muss ein Stück ins Zentrum gehen. Die Zimmer sind nett eingerichtet, für mich war das Bett etwas zu weich, aber das ist Geschmackssache.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Abbiamo soggiornato una notte durante il nostro tour in bicicletta da Passau a Vienna e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti dell'accoglienza ricevuta. L'appartamento è molto pulito, confortevole e curato. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato un delizioso cioccolatino Mozart sul letto, un piccolo gesto che abbiamo davvero apprezzato. La camera non è molto spaziosa per una famiglia di tre persone, ma per una sola notte ci siamo adattati senza problemi. Anche il bagno è un po' piccolo, ma funzionale e ben tenuto. La titolare è stata estremamente gentile e disponibile, contribuendo a rendere il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. La colazione è stata eccellente, con una ricca scelta sia di prodotti dolci che salati. Molto piacevole la possibilità di fare colazione all'aperto sulla terrazza, in un'atmosfera tranquilla e rilassante. Una struttura che consigliamo a chi percorre la ciclabile Passau-Vienna e cerca un ambiente accogliente, pulito e gestito con grande cordialità. 🚴♂️☕😊

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Bad consistent smell in the room we could not stay , checked in in another place immediately, money were taken long before our arrival , under no circumstances to recover, AI was used by the pension person to express a fake “we are sorry your stay did not reach expectations”
Overall but mostly the smell , a dirty large fan no air con, The only fridge was a small one filled with bottles , we had no option to keep our water cooler on the hot weather that apparently took the owner by surprise . The room presentation had a fridge in a communal kitchen, we could not find that fridge, to learn that belonged to the owner so not for guests but still in the photos to attract tourists

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Nice rooms, the owner is super nice and welcoming. In case the staff is not on-site, you receive self-check in instructions. Good breakfast with local products. You can store the bikes in the garage.
If you are travelling with bikes, just keep in mind that the building is out of the city center and up the hill.

Název Marillenhof je poněkud zavádějící - jedná se o normální rodinný dům ve městě, žádné meruňkové sady Pod okny vede rušná silnice, při otevřených oknech ráno velký hluk z projíždějících aut V horkém počasí by se hodila klimatizace a lednice, alespoň společná na chodbě

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026Bei einer Temperatur von 6-12 °C über Tage hinweg war bei unserer Ankunft keine Heizung eingeschaltet. Mit einem einjährigen Kind war ein Übernachten in dem kühlen Zimmer nicht möglich. Eine Sonderrückerstattung wurde erst nach langem Hin und her mit der Unterkunft und dem Kundenservice zugestanden, jedoch leider nur 50€ von über 120€.

Das Badezimmer ist sehr klein. Der Einstieg in die Dusche ist eine Herausforderung, wenn man mit mehr Gewicht durchs Leben geht .... :)

Erstmal findet man das Haus gar nicht, unter Marillenhof versteht man wohl eher was anderes, wie ein Mehrfamilienhaus. Die Handtücher und Bettwäsche ist alt und ausgefranst. Das Frühstück eher karg, das Mobiliar ist alt, die Zimmer und Frühstücksraum haben eine Grundreinigung nötig, überall Spinnweben und Staub. Hier ist aus der Not scheinbar etwas ungeliebtes geworden. Schade

Leider war die Gastgeberin aus privaten Gründen erst am Abreisetag vor Ort, daher kleinere Mängel (leerer Kühlschrank, schimmliger Strudel beim Frühstück, Empfehlung keine Mineralsteine im Wasserkrug - Steine waren grün!)

Leider ließ die Gastlichkeit zu Wünschen übrig: Keine Begrüßung oder persönliche Vorstellung (am WE hatten wir es mit einer wortkargen Mitarbeiterin zu tun, die Vermieterin war heute am 2. Tag da, konnten wir auch nur ahnen...), angepriesene Getränkeauswahl nicht vorhanden bzw leer( und das bei hochsommerlichen Temperaturen) Gerade bei kleinen Pensionen wünscht man sich doch ein wenig persönliche Ansprache. Die hatten wir dann mit anderen Gästen, zum Glück. Das Zimmer war okay, Handtücher ziemlich ausgefranst und z T sehr dünn, die Kopfkissen könnten mal ausgewechselt werden.

Reviewed Jun 12, 2026Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich, sie hat gute Ratschläge für Ausflüge auch für schlechtes Wetter gegeben. Wir waren zB. auf der Schallaburg, dort ist zur Zeit eine Ausstellung über die 80er Jahre. Wir waren begeistert. Natürlich war ein Besuch des Stift Melk das Highlight. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Bei 10 Tagen hat etwas Abwechslung gefehlt, aber die meisten waren nur 1-2 Nächte. Es ist nicht weit bis zur Stadtmitte, fußläufig gut zu erreichen.
Das Umfeld um das Gebäudes war nicht sehr einladend. Die Handtücher ausgefranst und auch die Kopfkissen haben eine Erneuerung nötig.

Reviewed May 25, 2026Die Pension ist nett und sehr gut und zuvorkommend geführt. Die Ausstattung sauber, zwar schon etwas älter, aber nett und gut. Das Frühstück abwechslungsreich und wirklich gut, die Wirtin ist sehr freundlich und geht auf Wünsche ein, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Die Pension liegt recht nah am Stift Melk und am Städtchen-Zentrum sowie an einem Billa Plus, also Super-Lage! Preis-Leistung top!

A localização é ótima, bem perto da abadia de Melk e do centrinho da cidade O quarto estava bem limpo e era silencioso, O chuveiro era tipo ducha e esquentava bem. Bons lençóis e colchão confortável. Estávamos de carro, conseguimos estacionar na rua na lateral da pousada. Tudo muito seguro

Reviewed Apr 29, 2026Perfekte Lage um Melk zu erkunden! Das Stift Melk konnten wir von unserem Zimmer aus sehen und es ist fussläufig in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Die Altstadt ist ca. 15 min zu Fuss entfernt. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet und sehr gut sortiert. Am besten ist die hausgemachte Marillenmarmelade und das frische Gebäck. Die Gastgeberin gibt auch viele Tipps für Ausflüge und Sehenswürdigkeiten.
Es war alles bestens!

Reviewed Apr 11, 2026Herzlichen Dank für das feine Frühstück: Vielfältig, frisch, süß und deftig, nett hergerichtet. Für uns nach langem Radltag war der Aufenthalt perfekt. Bei Buchung war mir nicht bewusst, dass sogar kleine Küchenzeile im Zimmer. Im Sommer sicher von Vorteil einen Kühlschrank zu haben!

Reviewed Apr 9, 2026We really enjoyed our stay in Melk. The Marillenhof guesthouse was very cozy, and Mrs. Schreyl was very hospitable. The breakfast was delicious and featured a selection of regional products and specialties, such as homemade jam. If we ever come back to Melk, we’ll definitely stay there again!

Reviewed Apr 8, 2026We had such a nice stay in Pension Marillenhof when visiting Wachau Valley. Melk is a nice small town with beautiful Abbey. Pension Marillenhof like a home away from home, quite, clean with touching decorations. Hostess is very responsive and caring. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Reviewed Mar 31, 2026Positiv war: Die Größe des Zimmers, die Freundlichkeit des Personals, das Frühstück war richtig nett, genug Parkplätze auf der Straße.
Nicht so toll war: Eine kaputte Schiebetür in der Dusche und schwarz verfärbte Fugen zwischen den Fließen. Kein Wasserkocher am Zimmer. Sehr weiche Matratzen.

Lenjeria de pat veche, deteriorata pe alocuri, fețe de perne nepotrivite ca mărime (foarte mari) și extrem de șifonate. Toaleta curățată superficial, prosoapele uzate.

Umesto rezervisane sobe u prizemlju, koja nam zbog godina više odgovara, dobili smo sličnu sobu na 1. spratu.

Reviewed Mar 3, 2026În trecut am mai fost cazați la aceasta pensiune și am avut o camera la etaj. Acum am primit camera de la parter cu acces direct de afara. Micul dejun este diversificat și are produse de calitate.
Camera de la parter nu este pe măsură prețului plătit. În baie mai trebuie aprofundat pe partea de curățenie. În cabina de dus era roz pe la rosturi. Suplimentar încălzirea în pardoseala trebuia pornita puțin mai devreme pentru ca era răcoare în camera. Ulterior s-a încălzit dar a durat câteva ore.
