Not a massive room, but had everything we needed for our stay.

The stairs

Frühstücksservice nicht genutzt. Tolle und ruhige Lage direkt an Bootshafen. Seitlicher Meerblick. Sehr schöne und liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung. Alles vorhanden was man braucht. Sehr gute Betten. Sehr nette Gastgeberin. Fussläufig sehr nach an toller historischer Innenstand und am historischen Hafen. Steile Treffen zum 3. Stock waren bekannt und daher kein Problem. Fenster in drei Richtungen, daher Durchlüften problemlos. Schlafzimmerfenster mit Fliegengitter.

Bad (und damit Toilette) war nicht durch schließende Türe begrenzt. Es gab (nur) einen allerdings hohe "Pendeltüre". War für uns kein großen Problem, könnte aber empfindliche Gemüter eher belasten. Nicht alle Fenster mit Fliegengitter.

La gentillesse de Ria. Le savoureux petit déjeuner. La localisation du b&b proche du port et du lac. La taille de la chambre et de la super salle de bain.

Der Ort an sich. Die perfekte Lage. Ruhig gelegen. Der Yachthafen direkt vor der Tür. 1 Minute Fußweg zur Bucht. Das Zimmer wunderschön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Eine kleine Küchenzeile mit den wichtigsten Utensilien inkl zwei Heizplatten ist vorhanden. Die Whirlpool Badewanne ist ein Traum. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr zuvorkommend

Ich bin zum dritten Mal hier gewesen und es war wieder herrlich! Allein schon der Ausblick auf den Hafen und die Segelboote vermittelt Urlaubsgefühl. Abends am nahen Markermeer den Sonnenuntergang zu erleben ist ein wunderbarer Tagesabschluss. Die liebevoll eingerichtete Suite bietet viel Raum und Behaglichkeit. Mit Sonnenlicht entsteht eine mediterrane Atmosphäre. Die Ausstattung ist hervorragend: wie in einer kleinen Wohnung. Es ist alles vorhanden, um z.B. Kaffee oder Tee zu kochen oder einen Snack zu bereiten. Im Kühlschrank können Lebensmittel auch bei Wärme gut gelagert werden. Andererseits ist auch die Innenstadt schnell erreichbar, um dort etwas zu essen bzw. zu trinken. Unbedingt zu empfehlen ist das Frühstück von Ria: liebevoll zubereitet mit frischem Obst und einigen Leckereien. Kurzum: ich habe es erneut sehr genossen, in Hoorn und in "El Puerto" mehrere Tage zu verbringen.

Dass die Tage mal wieder so schnell herum gewesen sind...

Lage und Ruhe

Everything was great. Beautiful location with a nice view of the harbour. I said 9/10 as a bit of a walk from the train station to the B&B. Excellent breakfast.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist top. Altstadt, Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants sind zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig. Die Eigentümerin ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Es ist sehr sauber

Das Zimmer und die Einrichtung sind schon etwas abgewohnt. Die Möbel wirken „zusammengesucht“. Einen Schrank gibt es nicht und die Küchenzeile gleicht eher einem Waschtisch.

Mein kleiner Pfingsturlaub in Hoorn war beschenkt von diesem süßen Idyll direkt am Hafen. Ria, die Gastgeberin, hieß mich nach einer langen Zuganreise am Abend liebevoll willkommen. Es erwartete mich ein ebenso freundliches und einladendes Ferien-Zuhause mit einem himmlisch schönen Ausblick auf den Hafen. Nach wunderschönen Tagesausflügen in Hoorn und seiner Umgebung genoss ich es, mich abends auf meinem Bett zu legen und den heimkommenden Booten und den glücklichen Ausflüglern zuzusehen. Morgens wurde ich von der aufgehenden Sonne und zwitschernden Vögeln geweckt. Wer Ruhe, Natur, Frieden und Leichtigkeit sucht, der ist hier genau an der richtigen Adresse. Von Herzen Dank!

Wunderschönes Zimmer mit Blick auf den Hafen und allem, was man braucht. Die Badewanne hat sogar einen Whirlpool 😊 Ria hat uns sehr herzlich in ihrem Haus empfangen, das Frühstück war reichhaltig und wurde aufs Zimmer gebracht. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr aufwendig ausgestattet und alles passt zusammen . Vom Bad mit Whirlpool bis zur zum Ambiente passenden Bettwäsche

Es gibt keine Punkte die man schlecht bewerten kann . Einzig muss man um zu den Appartements eine Holland typische steile Treppe laufen

Locatie

Alles was prima

Eine wunderbare Unterkunft, die auch im Winter sehr zu empfehlen ist. Als es draußen kalt war und geschneit hat, habe ich es mir drinnen gemütlich gemacht. Nette Sitzecke, schöner Ausblick auf den Grashaven. Lecker frühstücken, Tee trinken, lesen, schreiben, fernsehen, ein herrliches Bad nehmen... kurzum den Aufenthalt genießen. Ria ist eine aufmerksame Gastgeberin und hat sofort reagiert, wenn ich ein Anliegen hatte. Das Frühstück von ihr: wirklich ausgezeichnet! Bei meinem Aufenthalt ist die Stadt Hoorn ist noch weihnachtlich geschmückt gewesen. Da hat es Freude gemacht, durch die Straßen zu bummeln, interessante Läden und Häuser zu entdecken und immer wieder Sehenswertes zu fotografieren. Lohnenswert ist auch ein Besuch vom "Museum des 20. Jahrhunderts" auf Oostereiland.

Die Zeit ist mal wieder viel zu schnell vergangen...

The bath could have been bigger

Des produits de qualités avec générosité Une vue qui donne sur le port de plaisance. Une chambre avec un lit spacieux et très confortable. Une décoration avec une ambiance de bois et volets rappelant une maison tropicale. Une baignoire jacuzzi et une douche à l'italienne . L'accueil et l'attention de Ria la propriétaire .

Geen zitbankje in de suite, wel een eettafeltje met 2 stoeltjes.

The room was large and had a dining table and chairs and kitchen sink, fridge and crockery suitable for having coffee and cold snacks. There was an excellent view of the harbour and it was a short walk to the centre of Hoorn, an historic and very picturesque town. The owner was very friendly and helpful and provided an excellent continental breakfast. It was good value for money.

Déjeuner super

Schönes Zimmer, gutes Bett, sehr nette Gastgeberin, sehr gutes Frühstück. Tolle Lage, alles in Hoorn zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die steile Treppe ist wirklich steil.

Tolle Lage direkt am Hafen, fußläufig zur Altstadt und Ria ist so wunderbar und hat uns mit ihrem besonderen Frühstück jeden Tag aufs neue überrascht.

Wir hatten nur ein paar Minuten bis zum Ortszentrum und einen extrem schönen Ausblick auf den „Grashaven“. Die Betten waren bequem, das Mobilar war außergewöhnlich und hochwertig, ebenso wie die Handtücher und Hand- und Duschseife. Bleibt noch die immer gut gelaunte und zuvorkommende Vermieterin zu erwähnen, die lieber ein Handtuch mehr hinlegt als eins zu wenig.

Ein wunderbares B&B! Ich habe die Tage dort sehr genossen. Der Ausblick auf den Yachthafen ist toll. Und das (Marker-)Meer in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Räume sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem Komfort ausgestattet. Sie bieten eine Rund-um-Wohlfühl-Atmosphäre, besonders auch, wenn das Wetter mal nicht so toll ist. Ria ist eine freundliche, aufgeschlossene und engagierte Gastgeberin. Vielen Dank für die Hilfe beim (zu) großen Koffer, der die Treppen rauf und wieder runter getragen werden musste.

Ein ganz außergewöhnliches B&B. Tolles Zimmer und Bad. Sogar Bademäntel hingen dort. Wir hatten das Frühstück nicht mit gebucht. Aufgrund der stadtnahen Lage kann man das ruhig machen. Eine sehr, sehr freundliche Vermieterin und unschlagbar die Aussicht vom Zimmerfenster auf den Hafen. Perfekt !

Ria, the owner is warm and welcoming. Lovely little touches with toiletries, small fridge and coffee/tea making facilities. Excellent location next to the harbour but only a very short walk to the centre. We highly recommend.

Steep stairs but negotiable even with our small dog. Typical for the property and didn’t detract in the least from the accommodation.

Such a clean, bright and airy apartment with beautiful decor. Has a fridge, coffee machine and kettle, a wonderful jet spa bath and red heat lamp in bathroom. Great location on the marina

Beautiful quiet location with lots of natural light , and great view of marina . Very comfortable bed great coffee machine and wonderful helpful attentive host best stay ever just like being at home would definitely stay again highly recommend . Hoorn centre 5 minute walk with great cafes and shops and beautiful area to walk around.

Such a good place to stay. The location is great. The room had windows to two sides with views of the harbour. It was comfortable and immaculately clean - and great shower and spa bath. Coffee and tea making facilities. The owner was friendly and couldn't have done more to make us welcome. As for the breakfast - served in your room and amazing. Everything good quality and tailored to your requests. A perfect stay. One thing to note - the stairs are steep and narrow - would be difficult for anyone with mobility problems.

The location, the views, the bubble bath. All the little details. There was nothing Ria hadn’t thought about.

Great location over marina and close to town centre. Big bedroom and bathroom. Excellent breakfast served in your room. Ria is a great host. Hoorn is a good base to visit North Holland. Good access to buses and trains and direct to Schiphol.

Excellent Bed & Breakfast.💫 The room was absolutely beautiful and the bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Great location overlooking the Hoorn Marine. Amazing bathroom/shower/spa bath. The hostess (Ria) is a beautifully friendly woman. Very accommodating to your needs and serves a really nice breakfast each morning to the room. Superb accommodation and well worth the price!

Good location, nice views, excellent breakfasts & Ria was a super host.

Lovely large adjoining bathroom however a full door into it would be an improvement.

The room was very comfortable, well appointed including coffee maker with espresso and cappuccino pods, and a gorgeous view of the harbour. The bathroom included a large jacuzzi tub, which was great to enjoy after a long wet day walking around the town.

Absolutely everything was exactly as we hoped it would be. We were visiting from America, and wanted an experience that would be different than what we were used to having on the USA. Ria, and her beautiful and unique property were wonderful! Situated right on the picturesque harbor, it is easy walking distance to everything! We stayed on the top floor. Ria is a charming host who prepared a fabulous breakfast that could have fed a large family! If we are ever lucky enough to return to Hoorn, we will definitely stay there again!

I can't think of a thing! (the stairs are a challenge, but that is also part of its' unique charm)

A great apartment in the Harbour of Hoorn. Lovely views of the harbour and very quiet 🤫 Host is super friendly and is very attentive.

The room was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The bathroom had a lovely shower and there were plenty of toiletries and towels. We had a lovely view of the harbour and parked just down the road. The accommodation was really quiet at night but only a few minutes walk from the centre of Hooren so ideal for us.

The only negative is that there were 3 bikes parked in the entrance lobby which made entering and leaving the building very difficult.

Greeting, Location, perfect place for a few days.

The stairs, it is not a showstopper but something to consider when you are traveling for a longer period and have large suitcases.

I booked this room for my mother, she felt very welcomed, warmed and, in general, like at home. Breakfast was homemade and excellent, she liked it very much. An additional thanks to the owner - Ria, for her her attention and wonderful service.

Top room but stairs a bit steep

Ria is a great host and takes care of everything. we even got free washing and the breakfast every morning is incredible (timing fully flexible). the view onto the harbour is great and decoration/equipment of the room really lovely. it even had a sun shower and a whirl pool bath tub. location perfect as not in the middle of the city.

in summer you can watch a lot of caravans just opposite (boats are further away). if you stay longer you might want to clarify room cleaning frequency.

Lovely big room with nice views. Great shower and spa bath. Ria was a friendly helpful host. Short walk to the train station and just 30 minutes on the train to Amsterdam. Great location in a lovely picturesque small city. WiFi was good.

2 single duvets on the bed but I improvised by turning them horizontally. I couldn't operate the blinds in the bathroom which made me feel a bit exposed.

We paid extra for the breakfast which was delivered to our room by Maria. There was an excellent choice of items, fresh fruit, yoghurt, delicious bread rolls, boiled eggs, fresh orange juice. Maria was an excellent host, extremely welcoming and helpful. The view from the bedroom over the harbour was stunning. Bathroom was spacious and very clean, with a bath and a separate shower. We loved our stay in Hoorn, such a peaceful and interesting place. We recommend the one hour harbour tour for €15 each, including drinks, tickets available at the Oosterisland Museum.

The bed was a bit creaky and not very comfortable.

Location was stunning, room was a great size and the host was amazingly friendly and helpful! There’s a little shop outside as well in case you need anything in a hurry that you might have forgotten.

The funfair was on which was a bit loud but that’s not the location or hosts problem at all!!

I stayed in a small apartment on the last floor. It is furnished with great care and aesthetic sense. A wonderful bathroom with shower and Iacuzzi. The windows are on each side with a view of the small port of Hoorn and also of the Markenmeer. I used the kitchen for breakfast and also for dinner. Really very comfortable and relaxing. A fantastic experience to close my journey through Holland!
