Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful views over the river and hosts so welcoming, informative and helpful.

Very friendly welcoming hosts. Lovely old house. Good substantial breakfast with good quality ingredients including produce from their garden. Nice guests sitting room with river views. Guests were welcome to have takeaways delivered and eaten at the dining table.
A second bedside light would have been nice though there wasn't really space.
The gardens and trails were beautiful. The view was lovely. The house was very nicely decorated to keep with the history with the house. Very welcoming!!
My brother and I stayed for two nights at Riverbank House. It surpassed our expectations in every way! The quiet and picturesque location near Kinsale was perfect for us. The beds were supremely comfortable, the garden was gorgeous, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. Heather and Adam were delightful.

SENSATIONELL! 😍

No reception on phone , didn’t have WiFi password
Great hosts and beautiful location, lovely breakfast with a view on the nearby pond. Hosts gave us great recommendations of places to visit on our trip.
We had a fantastic experience! The place is absolutely beautiful, in a wonderful location, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming, kind and thoughtful. They made us feel at home from the very beginning. Everything was lovely and we truly enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience the authentic charm and warm hospitality of Ireland. A wonderful and unforgettable experience! Ketty & Paolo Italia
Nothing. I liked everything!
Heather & Adam are warm and welcoming hosts. Every detail of their home and the rooms they share shouts “care” and “effort”, but is delivered with grace and warmth. How lovely to open their panoramic living room up to guests and give us free rein in their garden. And what a setting: we didn’t see the otters and kingfishers, but that owes more to the brevity of our stay than anything. Oh, and the breakfast was superb: beautiful eggs and salmon, homemade jams and home-hived honey and home-grown tomatoes and mushrooms. Of course, home-baked bread. And no need for artery-clogging bangers or bacon. Thank you.

Heather was amazing 👏 we got up late but it wasn't a problem and amazing food

Comfortable spacious clean River views
Everything! From driving along the beautiful roads to Riverbank House and taking in the insane scenery, to arriving and realising we were about to stay somewhere so truly magical. Heather and Adam were beyond exceptional hosts. They couldn't have done more for us and genuinely made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. We were honestly so sad to leave. The house itself is absolutely stunning, and the gardens are even more beautiful in person. Everything was immaculately clean and cared for, and you can feel the love and attention that has gone into every detail. Breakfast was phenomenal, with so many delicious homemade touches – the jams, honey and fresh eggs from their own hens were incredible. It made the whole experience feel so special. This wasn't just a place to stay; it felt like a little slice of magic. Without a doubt the best B&B we've ever stayed in, and we can't wait to come back.
We didn't like having to leave!! Truly an amazing and beautiful gem and we feel very lucky to have found it.
We had a wonderful welcome in this stylish ,comfortable house with wonderful changing views of the river and wildlife. A great base for exploring Kinsale. We will definitely return.

This bucolic B&B was the loveliest place that I stayed in a 15 day trip around Ireland. The Hosts were delightful- warm & so welcoming, even in the midsts of a very busy weekend of Innishannons garden tour( which their gorgeous gardens were part of!) The breakfasts were wonderful with their own honeys and jams & breads & eggs! I will remember their gracious hospitality & beautiful estate for a very long time. I
Heather and Adam are superb hosts. Their house and gardens are lovely and we had a spacious bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and sitting room with water view.
Can't think of anything
Comfortabel. Rustig gelegen. Prachtig zicht op de rivier. En: eigenaren Heather en Adam zijn geweldig.
Niets.
niente, tutto molto bene
A beautiful property in a stunning setting on the river. Relaxing and welcoming after a long journey with a great breakfast.
Peaceful
It was very inviting and cosy. The gardens were amazing.
Nothing it was amazing
Vriendelijk ontvangen.
Lovingly restored house, peaceful riverside location near village of Innishanon. Heather and Adam are exceptional hosts..we were warmly greeted, luggage carried to our room. Breakfast wad perfect eith fresh eggs, and homemade jams. We had privaye sitting area and kitchenette as well as soacious common area. Loved the furniture, and all the ornaments..very homely.
Unable to walk to dinner, but only a short drive to village to sit with locals
Sehr nette Gastgeberin. Sehr ruhige Lage.
Zum Abendessen muss man etwas weiter fahren.
Lovely small B&B. Amazing hosts with good advice on the area. Great breakfast.
Nothing
Excellent breakfast. They were very good at meeting our dietary needs. Heather and Adam were delightful hosts with good information.
Fantastic property with amazing river view, brilliant hosts and very comfortable bed
This is a unique and historical property set in lovely surroundings and views. Adam and Heather are excellent hosts and really look after you. Whilst the breakfast isn’t a “full Irish” as such it was still plentiful with fresh fruits, yoghurts and lots of fresh local produce, you even get to meet the “ladies” who laid your eggs for breakfast as they roam around the property. The wildlife outside the property in the Bandon River is also a treat we saw the seal on the first day and herons almost every day of our 4 night stay.
There isn’t much not to like about the property so you have to think hard. Maybe the lack of a “full Irish breakfast” with sausages, bacon etc may put a few people off but it does give you an opportunity to try the other excellent produce and fresh smoked salmon. Whilst it is in a beautiful setting the lack of a footpath to get into innishannon itself means you need to take the car. There’s an interesting walk at the rear of the property that takes you along country lanes about 4 miles into Bandon town.
The hosts, the house and the location .
Heather and Adam have a beautiful B&B. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with home made jams, poached eggs cooked perfectly. Heather and Adam are great hosts and gave us good advice on sightseeing.
Nothing.
Very nice and helpful hosts. Good breakfast.
Everything. When I rang to advise about our arrivals Heather was so friendly. Suggested restaurants we could book. She was at the door to give me a warm welcome. The room was stunning as is the whole house. Breakfast every morning was a joy with so many home grown and made elements. It was like visiting friends. Adam's honey is exquisite and they are both so kind and friendly. But I really don't want anyone else to go so there is always space for me.
Nothing it was so special.
Beautiful. Homey. Peaceful-right on the River

The breakfast was delicious and fresh with products from the garden. The house looked beautiful, and the location was both very scenic and relaxing. 100% recommend !

Tutto. Padrona di casa gentilissima e disponibile.
Niente tutto perfetto.
Beautiful location with wonderful views, binoculars provided to be able to observe the great collection of birds and visiting seal.
All wonderful
The hosts Heather and Adam were so friendly and helpful, giving us great advice on things to do and see in the area. Nothing was too much trouble. It was quiet and peaceful by the river. The rooms are very comfortable with great views of the river. The chocolate was appreciated, and Heather also served a wonderful breakfast, including homemade jams and honey.
Nothing. Everything was great.
Good tips for dining and sightseeing
Very comfortable property with lovely garden. Nice helpful hosts. Good breakfast.
Not a problem for us but a lot of stairs up to room.
This was my first experience staying in a Bed & Breakfast, so I had no idea what to expect, so I was overjoyed with my experience here!! Heather & Adam were amazing hosts!! The room was lovely, the breakfast was delicious & included many homemade extras such as jams, honey & freshly grown fruit! Heather & Adam provided wonderful recommendations regarding where to go for dinner, as well as sights to see as we continued our vacation journey!!
Beautiful location by a river. Property is beautiful with a large sitting area in the garden, vegetable garden and pond. Room looked to the river. Nice shared living room to relax. Good breakfast. The room itself was comfortable and quiet. Heather, the host, was very nice, friendly and helpful. Felt like you were staying at someone's home rather than a hotel or even a standard B&B (there are only two rooms for rent).
The location, while beautiful and secluded, is a bit of a drive from things (20 minutes from Kinsale). WiFi was a little spotty in our room.
The hosts were very friendly and gave good advice about the area. Lovely view of the river from the property. Beautiful breakfast with homemade jams etc, the eggs from the chickens were lovely at breakfast

Adam and Heather were wonderful people and great hosts. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We loved the location and property. It was wonderful to walk the property and the area surrounding their property. The breakfast was wonderful. Location was quiet and lovely. Our experience here reminded us why we love to stay at B&B's.
Everything was excellent!!! The hosts were so friendly with many suggestions for activities, sights and restaurants. The house was very old but so charming!!! We enjoyed our two day stay!!!!
The old world charm of the home and its location
The property is lovely, the room and breakfast were great. The hosts are fantastically friendly and very interesting people. The next time we come to Ireland, we'll set aside more time to enjoy this little piece of paradise.
I have no complaints or dislikes about this property.
The location by the river was perfect. We were able to observe nature. The forest near where the home is was lovely for a walk. The hosts were very friendly and interesting to talk with.
Stunning setting by Bandon river, Heather & Adam are excellent hosts, warm and welcoming. Great stay for events and weddings in Innishannon. Photos of stunning sight of the river in the morning mists.
Stunning home on the riverbank. Awoke to birdsong and flowering trees looking out from our windows.🌺
The history, the charm, the location, the character, the grounds, the hosts. Everything!

Heather and Adam are amazing hosts and everything is so beautiful and perfect.
It is a unique house. They owners, Heather and Adam, have excellent knowledge of it's history .The breakfast was delicious and almost everything was home produced. .The view from the house was exceptional, the Bandon river in it's glory.

Our stay at Riverbank House was faultless. Heather went above and beyond to accommodate us. The house is stunning and our room was so comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Beautifully refurbished rural accommodation operated by a warm, welcoming couple. A highlight of travel. Large comfortable room and ensuite with bath and great water pressure!
Loved everything about it.
What a lovely house and amazing hosts too. Our room was really comfortable and quiet, with a lovely view of the garden. We were within easy reach of Inishannon itself and also Kinsale where we went for our evening meal. The information pack was very comprehensive, including some facts about the history of the house. The breakfast was also wonderful, with lots of choice. Thank you.
Delightful w/honey from their hives, fresh raspberry jam. Heather and Adam were a delight! Helpful tips.
A little drive from Kinsale. View of river and gardens delightful!
The hospitality was excellent, and the host couple was very friendly and helpful .we would like to stay with them on the next trip. Great gardens and walking trails.
No issues
From the moment we arrived we felt we were in heaven. We received a warm and helpful welcome from Heather and Adam. The house and it’s location are beautiful. The garden is gorgeous and is home to Adam’s bees, which provide yummy honey for breakfast, the hens Barbara and Margot gave us delicious eggs and the vegetable garden provided sweet tomatoes which Heather cooked to perfection. Homemade jams were delicious on our toast. The linen is high quality and everything at Riverbank House exceeds expectations. Do yourself a favour and stay more than one night.
Everything was perfect.
Adam and Heather our hosts are a wonderful couple. Heather went out of her way to provide us with lots of helpful advice on where to go and what to see. The house is full of charm and history and the gardens and grounds are very beautiful. A red Robin lives in their garden, that you can hand feed .
Nothing
Beautiful older house in a stunning quiet setting.
Had imagined it was a little closer of a drive to Kinsale. This wasn’t a huge problem in the end. We did a lot of driving though. With no time to relax and enjoy the property.
Quiet and beautifully appointed Overlooking the river Such a calm ambience

Heather and Adam built a lovely place and are the most passionate hosts one could imagine.
I found Heather and her partner so welcoming They have a lovely home I had a great night's sleep which I was glad of as our Daughter was getting married the following day.Heather could not do enough for us. We had a lovely breakfast over looking the river where 2 swans were floating past
The only thing I did not like was the weather when we arrived as it was lashing rain but that was out of the hosts control
Beautiful location, run by a fantastic couple, great breakfast.
The breakfasts were excellent - a wide variety of options, elegantly served
Can't think of anything!
A completely relaxing stay in the most beautiful house next to the River Bandon. Heather and Adam were the friendliest of hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. Delicious breakfasts taken in the lovely room overlooking the river was so peaceful. Their garden is a delight too!
Absolutely beautiful situation and hosts could not be more helpful or accommodating. A stunning home with gorgeous views and lovely gardens to explore. Excellent breakfast of home grown or locally sourced produce. First class/ exceptional.
The nights at Riverbank House were some of the best we had spent on our holiday in Ireland. Even before we arrived, the hostess Heather was very friendly and helpful. We had indicated that we were vegan and this was very well catered for. The really great breakfast with lots of home-made ingredients was outstanding and was one of the best vegan breakfasts we had had in Ireland. From the homemade jams and marmalades to the freshly baked bread and the exquisite selection of teas, everything was just right. Both the house and the garden are gorgeous. Adam, the host, showed us around his vegetable garden and both he and Heather gave us great tips for excursions and restaurants every day. Heather even planned a great road trip for us to our next destination. We will definitely stay at Riverbank House again. Thank you very much for the grand days!
Hosts were very friendly, helpful, couldn’t do enough for us! Accommodation was excellent, very high standard - amazing views!! Many beautiful places to visit nearby & hosts passed on loads of useful information. Breakfast also excellent, included home made jams & bread, & eggs from their own chickens. Well done Heather & Adam, you’re doing a grand job!

Everything. Beautifully restored old building, magnificent views of the river from upstairs dining room. The Garden is like a little piece of heaven- enjoyed really good coffee sitting in the garden in the afternoon. The breakfast was delicious ( no meats) great scrambled eggs and home produced honey from the hosts’ own hives - 😋 Hosts,Heather & Adam really made us feel at home, could not have been more friendly and helpful.
Everything was fabulous ( you would need a car if you’re going to stay here)
Everything! Spotless B&B with the little extra. Everything was done with a personal and exquisite touch. Warm, friendly and yet super professional hosts. Will recommend it to everyone 👌 Warm regards from Hilde and Magnus
