Peaceful countryside, very restful yet close to Cahir and Clonmel
Eleanor was so sweet and so attentive to our needs! Breakfast was amazing! I would love to stay there again.
L’ accueil est chaleureux et la vue sur la campagne est joli. Le petit déjeuner buffet superbe .un endroit idéal pour parcourir la région .

Friendly, clean, comfortably, wonderful views and well designed.
Friendly host. Nice breakfast. Very pretty outlook. Good location for walks and visiting Cahir and the Galtees the Vee and the Glen of Aherlow
The room was smaller than expected and we felt a bit cramped although there was a small sitting room at the top of the stairs. We could hear people on the stairs at night and the front door opening at 6.30 am. There was only one bedside table and no charging by the bed for the phone. The mattress wasn't very comfortable.
Tolle, engagierte Vermieterin. Top Frühstück mit Ausblick auf Katzen, Ziegen, Hühner, Enten und Hunde. Lage gut für Ausflüge nach Cahir, Rock of Cashel, Holycross Abbey und Wanderungen im Glen of Aherlow.
Very nice people and place - no problems whatsoever.
Perfect all the way: clean, roomy, comfortable, nice guest, nice setting, easy access and parking. We felt at home, just better.

Lovely home! Excellent location! Great host! Delicious breakfast! Would love to come back.
Lovely house. Lovely room. Very friendly owner. Lovely location. We especially loved the animals!! Having a small fridge outside the bedroom to keep our milk fresh. Beautiful view of the mountains from the landing window, with a very comfy sofa to appreciate it all the more
Nothing.
Ambience, location, owner, animals. Nearby Cahir is well worth visiting.
Watch out for sloping ceilings. The property needs a bigger sign.
Fantastic location. Wonderful country setting with mountain views and farm animals in view. Eleanor is engaging and very accommodating. Quiet and restful
Unfortunately, I recently injured my knee which made the stairs a challenge.
It was lovely and clean
Annaswood was easy to find on the sat nav and took us straight there with no issues. We arrived late on the evening but had everything we needed. The hosts Eleanor and Sean are super lovely people and we enjoyed our morning chats with them at a very accommodating breakfast every morning. We had our 5 year our daughter with us who also particularly loved it here. She loved the garden, the animals tbh everything. Rooms were clean, plenty of space and storage. The area was so quiet. We enjoyed eating our dinners In the peace and tranquillity of the garden with Milo their dog. We miss it already 😢
Beautiful location, friendly host
Leaving
The surrounding landscapes are absolutely stunning—rolling hills, lush gardens, and peaceful views in every direction. It’s the perfect setting to unwind and reconnect with nature. The property is well maintained, and you can tell the hosts put real care into preserving the natural beauty of the area.
N/a All was good
Breakfast was great. Eleanor offered to cook up a full Irish breakfast if we wanted it. She’s very friendly and kind. The home is beautiful and very comfortable. It was the best place we stayed during our two week trip.
Great stay lovely owners
Everything was great
Such a charming home and wonderful host family.
Most friendly hosts, excellent breakfast, lovely scenery - thanks for a beautiful stay, Eleanor&Sean!
The first morning we enjoyed a lovely fulll, hot breakfast but the second morning we went for a more lighter meal. A nice rural location allowed for a day trip with an easy return in the evening, despite the rain. Dogs and cat, Miley, Margaret and Molly, were an added bonus!!! Not to forget, Eleanor and Sean were lovely hosts.
Nothing to dislike!
Eleanor welcomed us very warmly despite we were late. The countryside with the glass view on the cows is just amazing and a delicious and complete breakfast was included. We’ll come back for sure!
Lovely and cozy room. The host was very kind. Good breakfast. We will return!
The location of this BnB was amazing. Very rural location, you are surrounded by fields. Eleanor made the most of this with a beautiful picture window on landing, with sofa facing it. Even though location was quite and in a rural location, we were only about 7km from Cahr.
The bed and pillows quite hard. Only thing I could think of.
Eleanor, the host, was very kind. The bed was comfortable.
Location
We loved the peaceful atmosphere, the cows and the beautiful views from every window. The bed was very supportive and comfortable, in the morning good coffee and delicious breakfast. We were in an attic room with a large modern bathroom. Eleanor, our host, was a lovely, gentle lady.
Everything was great, the place was clean, the room was comfortable and Eleanor was very nice and made us tasty breakfast.
The view of the mountain range, from the lounge area, was stunning. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice. Eleanor was very kind & friendly, showing us her garden and telling us about the mountains.
Perfect location with amazing views.
Very welcoming host. Informed on what to discover nearby. Splendid breakfast. Quiet and relaxing surroundings.
Really lovely location, calm and peaceful. Had a lovely little visit from Margaret the pup! The bathroom was fabulous, especially the heated floors! What a great surprise! Irish breakfast was grand and filling! Thank you!!!
Everything
Good breakfast cooked to order. Excellent rural location.
Room a bit cramped, shower room very small. Could do with updating.
Everything!!! it exceeded my expectations! The beautiful, cosy and very clean room with all amenities! Very tasty and varied breakfast - gluten free friendly place😊 It is a place absolutely peaceful and perfect to fully enjoy your staying here! Very close to the quite noisy Cahir - 5 min by car. So, you can enjoy your day in Cahir and go back to Annaswood B&B to get full rest and proper sleep in a quiet beautiful place! And the most important thing The Owners - warm-hearted and wonderful people 💖
That I have to leave the place too soon😥
Lovely welcome, great room and THE full Irish.
Nothing
Eleanor was a very pleasant person, telling stories, sharing experiences, and preparing an excellent breakfast. The view on the mountains from the little sitting room on top of the stairs is splendid.
Very quiet place, nice outdoor area to relax when the weather is nice. The room is also comfortable, and the breakfast is great. We loved here
Excellent breakfasts, very tasty and nutritious.
From my arrival to my departure I felt at home with Annaswood! My room was more than sufficient equipped with a desk, fridge, tea making facilities and ensuite bathroom with a shower. The shared seating area was the steal of the show with the apex window! Mountains, heifers and a cottage core garden - well up my street! Lovely quiet surroundings when I went for a short walk in the evening. A great cooked breakfast in the morning by Eleanor and some light conversation during this time. A short but enjoyable stay!

A lovely room. Surrounded by countryside. A good outside space and a lounge area with a great view
It was all good
Lovely quiet B&B. Make sure to drive to the nearby Vee pass for great views and hikes.
This is an absolutely beautiful and relaxing setting. There is a covered outdoor space for picnicing with gorgeous views of the countryside and the Galty mountains. Lovely perennial gardens surround the house and yard. We loved it there. Just what we needed after a busy week. Close to Cahir town, the Swiss Cottage and Rock of Cashel.
Lovely location with beautiful views. A lovely and kind host. The perfect spot to escape the city. We enjoyed the countryside and the calmness that comes with it.
We would have loved to stay longer (sadly we had a plane to catch).
Eleanor and Sean were wonderful hosts. As soon as we walked in, we were treated as family. Eleanor was ready to make whatever we wanted for breakfast. The bed was extremely comfortable, allowing us a great night sleep. We would definitely recommend staying with them.

Beautiful location in the farmland of Co. Tipperary. Lovely owners of a farm. Catered to our every need. Very relaxing and friendly people. Quiet countryside for a real retreat and refresh. Enjoyed our hosts and their stories. Great for a relaxing getaway. Mountain view.
The rooms were a bit tiny, but sufficient with fridge and tea/coffee. Hard to navigate that area of the country without road signs and spotty internet. Once you're there, there is plenty of room for walking and reflection.
Amazing breakfast. Cooked fresh. Terrific atmosphere. Location superb. Friendly , nothing is too much trouble. Always ensures guests have slept well.

The hosts were super helpful, the breakfasts great and conversations interesting. And the bed was lovely and comfortable.
All good.

Eleanor was a great host and made us feel very much at home.
Nothing not to like.
One of the other guests came back late one night (nothing to do with the accommodation) and woke my and my partner up but bed was comfie, room was lovely and breakfast was fantastic. SUPER friendly
Part from a guest coming home at 2am and banging doors everything was excellent
Fantastic location. Very beautiful home and view. Excellent host and very nice and comfortable room. Would definitely stay again
Excellent host. Would throughly recommend. Nothing is too much trouble for her guests. Fabulous breakfast. My daughter in law came with me. Her first time in Ireland and loved her experience of how friendly and accommodating our hosts were.
Nothing. I loved the views the welcome and it’s close to my family.
The hosts were lovely. Relaxed and Interesting to talk to Great views of a working farm. Great Generous breakfast 😋 Simall lounge room near bedroom , with a TV. Cute
Bedroom a bit cluttered, too much furniture, even though it was cute. But need luggage space
Quiet, peaceful & relaxing
We encountered a lovely and friendly welcome ahead of our five night stay. Eleanor was personable, accommodating and made us feel at ease in her home. She gave us good insight with regards to places to see and things to do. Our room was spacious, clean and had plenty of storage. The bathroom was a good size. Adjacent to our bedroom was a lounging / TV area. It included a small refrigerator and glasses available for our use. Wifi was good, fast, free and reliable. There was a great choice for breakfast, the cooked variety was lovely and freshly made to order. It’s rural location is ideal if you’re looking for peace and quiet. Views of the countryside (Galtee mountains, cows, guinea fowl etc) from the dining room and TV room were picturesque. The nearest town of Cahir was three miles away and boasted a few dining options and supermarkets. We were so glad we found this gem. Thank you Eleanor and Sean Beth and Alastair
Nothing, everything was brilliant
Nice country location but quite a distance from towns. Very friendly hosts and lovely breakfast.
Bedroom was a bit cluttered.
The location was beautiful peaceful and quiet just what we needed bedroom a good size and having a separate space outside your room to relax and watch television if you wanted to.
Very convenient location close to Cahir, very cozy countryside accommodation. Eleonor was very helpful with tips for dining in the area and made us a good breakfast. Very friendly dog was a plus! Would reccomend!
The room may be small but very nicely decorated and with a full bathroom en suite so nothing to complain about 🙂
Super cooked breakfast. Very friendly and informative host. Very comfortable bed and lovely views.
Everything. The view of the mountains from the stairs landing was spectacular. The lovely breakfast we got every morning made by Eleanor. I loved hearing the cows, hens, guinea fowl, two little dogs and a cat. The peace and quiet there was heaven. Eleanor is such a lovely person, very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be back again. Thanks Eleanor
Nothing I didn't like
Delicious breakfast, freshly cooked with lovely newly laid eggs. Wonderful views from breakfast table. Very assessable to interesting places and tours.
Room size was a bit tight, getting past each other to get to the toilet. Fan in shower room was loud but worked well to extract the moisture.
Great host
Quiet location with beautiful country views in a rural setting. Comfortable and relaxing facilities and helpful host for first time visitors to Ireland. Close to tipperary historic sites.
Nothing to dislike.
Relaxing step next to Cahir and the Rock of Cashel. The setting and the view of the small living room are top and the breakfast of Eleonore is awesome! 😁 The room is great too!
very nice and friendly host Eleanore. Perfect Irish breakfast.
The host Eleanor and her husband Sean were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The upstairs room was clean and comfortable. The countryside very picturesque and the family farm with dogs, cows, hens etc was inviting.
Nothing to dislike
Quiet and very relaxing working farm location with a delightful host Eleanor who could not have done more to be welcoming and share info about the area and their farm. I loved the upstairs scenic nook to sit and reflect in the evening. Room was well equipped. Breakfast was excellent and set me up for my day! Easy to find, set back from road with plenty of parking on gravel forecourt. Very quiet setting, perfect for me.
Small fixable things only. Bedroom door rattled a lot with through draft when my window was open (it was a hot night!). Snug bathroom with folding door that didnt quite close properly. Ok for solos but might be awkward for a couple.
Beautiful location amongst quiet farmland. Large room and lovely bathroom. Eleanor was a lovely host and nothing was too much trouble.
liked it all
clean, friendly hosts, beautiful nature, delicious breakfasts! The room has all the amenities!
Hostess was great and really enjoyed our conversations about the area and our families. Breakfast was good and plentiful.
I loved everything about this place. The rural location suited me perfectly, and yet it is so close to the town of Cahir. I originally booked for 2 nights and had to stay for a further two nights. Although the b&b was booked up, Eleanor put me up in the sheapards hut. It couldn't have been a more pleasant stay. Very comfortable, the hut was divine with its outdoor area and also had an extremely comfortable bed, hopefully I will get to stay here again in the future.
This was a family home just out of town surrounded by farming. It was lovely and peaceful. The lady of the household was lovely and very helpful. The cooked breakfast was well presented and to what we wanted.
The room we were in had a sloped ceiling which caused a few head bumps during night. There really is nothing more we could fault about the property. It wasn’t really a fault. Just a minor difficulty if you are a bit tall.
Great views and surroundings. Eleanor is very pleasant host, always ready to help. Her breakfasts make a perfect start of each day. Room, although quite small, was clean and comfy for two people.
The room is small, bathroom is situated right behind a bed and doesn't ensure full privacy.
Such an amazing stay, with beautiful views. Forgot home much I love being back home in Tipperary! Would definitely come back to stay in the bnb !
